PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

From my own 30 minute observation of the burning towers, from the south in Battery Park, I noted at the time that the fires were subsiding. The flames were diminished and the smoke was thicker. I left to return to my office on the east side of lower Manhattan on Water Street, believing that I had witnessed the worst of the damage. I did not have sight of the buildings when they collapsed, but have spoken with people who were close to the towers as they collapsed. They all heard explosions as a chain of thuds going off just below the collapsing material at each level.

I was especially alarmed by the fact that standard operating procedure to dispatch fighter planes against a high-jacked plane had been violated. The technical evidence presented since then certainly warrants a full and honest investigation. I know several people in NYC were trying to initiate a suit to open such an investigation in the spring of '07, but have heard no more about their effort.

WTC1 and WTC2 could not have collapsed as witnessed without the action of controlled explosives. No building collapses against the path of maximum resistance, as would be provided by the internal core of the building. This core structure had to first be weakened, destroyed, and displaced by forces not due to falling debris. At worst, the parts of the building above the impact zones should have leaned over with only parts falling off. WTC7 is the only building in history that collapsed due to sporadic office fires, the first in history. It was in free fall against the path of maximum resistance. These events are, in my opinion, not physically possible without the input of planned explosives.

From my experience with aluminum and bronze alloys in the casting industry, I am aware of the difference between the melting temperatures of certain alloys such as aluminum and steel. At the same time, my experience with mechanical and physical testing of materials makes it difficult to believe the NIST conclusion that the collapse of WTC building 7 was attributed to the fire in that building alone. The basic fundementals of mechanics of materials and structural analysis of the steel columns makes the NIST conclusion difficult to accept based on scientific and engineering principals. A futher investigation using a scientific approach applied to the steel columns of this building was required in order to determine the actual contributing and root cause of the building collapse including the distorted condition of the salvaged steel from 09/11/2001.

I just cannot quite believe that some people still think the planes/fires caused the collapse. It has been proven that this could not happen and that there is a whole host of evidence that was 'overlooked'. The fact NIST or the commission still refuse to appear in public and defend their theory against peers, further reinforces the corruption. WTC7 is the real smoking gun though. What destroys any credibility of the official theory is the live BBC news report that reported WTC7 as having collapsed when it was still clearly visible from the window behind them. This is damning evidence that all of the media had prior knowledge about what was going to happen. There is no way anyone could have known WTC7 was about to collapse from the small pockets of fires that were blazing. Owing to the weeks of planning that had to go into bringing that building down, this in itself is irrefutable evidence that the building had been planned to come down that day by a team of experts.

When I watched the towers start to fall I expected to see them tilt over and hit other buildings, instead as they fell straight down, the videos I have seen of building demolition popped into mind and I was confused as to how it happened the way it did. You would expect to see high piles of chunks of buildings as well from the collapse of three buildings, and instead you see a lot of dust and not much else. Also there did not appear to be a lot of office furniture, bodies, or other things you would expect there to be in a building collapse of that size, so an investigation should be done.

I'm sure that all this disaster was the result of an explosion. I saw many videos about the building collapses, it is absolutely clear and undeniable that it is a controlled destruction. The major problem that this implies is that Al Qaeda is not solely responsible for this disaster. Why is the U.S. government hides and covers all these elements? In doing so, they prove their obvious implications in these tragic and deadly. Today is 9/11/2011 and I find it shameful that Bush has the gall to appear at ground zero while there is every indication that he is involved in these events. There can be no doubt that these buildings came down by an extremely coordinated chain of demolition ignitions. The lack of whole building sections, especially the tower section with the huge antenna at the top. This section is seen in video falling as one section but incredibly didn't arrive intact at the bottom. This section evidently disintegrated on the way down. No other explanation than explosive devices that could allow for this and the vertical decent of building seven.

Remember staying at (what was then) the Vista Intl. Hotel-a part of the World Trade Center on a biz trip in 87. Distinctly remember standing on the observation deck at dusk and seeing the lights of the city on one side as far as the eyes can see and the Statue of Liberty in the harbor on the other side. I didn't realize that was going to be experience to hold dear for the rest of my life.

Office fires just could not make a steel structured building fall to the ground into it own footprint through the course of most resistance in 7 seconds. I was very shocked when I saw the events happening live on the TV - I can clearly remember that morning. In my young innocence I never thought such thing could ever be made. The first time some doubts rise I immediately searched for more information and it became clear that the whole story was not being told as it should: transparent. Many years later I discovered about WTC7 and it is even more clear how the collapses look planned. It seems quite clear for me. I therefore wish to know all the truth on these events. It is every american's right, but also every citizen in the world as it turned out to affect the whole planet and its people.

I do not believe in the official story surrounding 9/11 and would strongly advocate that a new investigation be done so that the American citizens can get closure on a day when innocent people were killed. I want the questions everyone has including the collapse of Tower 7, the Bin Laden connection, the funding of the attack and what really happened at the Pentagon.

I am a Realtor in the East Bay as well as a teacher and artist in San Francisco.
There are so many inconsistencies surrounding this tragic event that it seems absolutely necessary to investigate further. Everything from the engineers report showing that it would have taken a lot more than just a plane to take those building down to the reality of not only the cockpit door on the plane having never been opened, but also it not being possible for hijacker to have had the training he would have had to have had in order to maneuver that plane successfully into such a specific target. There are hundreds of unanswered questions and thousands dead. Seems very irresponsible.

I don't have any educational experience in architecture except for a few credits in CADD from Ivy Tech. That was in high school 8 years ago. I just have questions like every other American does after seeing these youtube documentaries. Its shocking how many questions come up in the movie loose change. I know now there are even people discussing the possibilities of a small nuclear like device or microwave ray that melted the structure. I'm sure thats possible, but thermite seems to be the prime suspect.
My main question would be how does a building, designed to take on multiple airplane strikes, collapse due to fire. I watched the Mandarin Hotel in China burn on new years 08(YouTube). they are rebuilding it now. There was also a building that rolled over on its side, but that didn't turn to rubble. History shows that planes do not cause superstructures to collapse.
