PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering. I won a nationwide engineering competition during my senior design project for my BS degree. This offered me a paid research position at Oak Ridge National Laboratories to do my Master's thesis research, and I worked there for a year in their materials science division. I specialized in heat transfer and fluid mechanics for my thesis, as well as materials science. Graphite foam was the material I used for my research, because it was newly developed and has many applications due to its extremely high thermal diffusivity and conductivity.
9/11 was the most horrifying day in American history. To any engineer or physicist, it is also one of the most mysterious days in our history. On that day, the official story claims that small range office fires (less than 10% of the total floor area) made two 110-story skyscrapers burst into dust in 10 seconds each. At 5:20 pm the same day, WTC7 also collapsed. NIST noted that WTC7 fell at 'free fall acceleration' for 2.25 seconds of its collapse, which proves that that tower was demolished. For a building to go from being in static equilibrium one second to undergoing full free-fall acceleration into its own structure the next second, the interior structure of the building must be compromised before those members were forced to buckle due to being overloaded. The twin towers collapsed very fast as well, at over 80% the acceleration of gravity. Since the bottom sections of each tower were undamaged, and also built with thicker columns than the top section, one would expect the collapse to slow down and then stop as floors were being crushed (absorbing kinetic energy). However, this wasn't the case. If people continue to believe the lies we were told that day, our country is doomed to a future of tyranny.

I have been a registered architect since 1980. Practicing principal of Environmental Architecture LLC. since 1983. I designed the Bank Of Singapore on the 7th floor of the South Tower of the WTC in 1991 and I am familiar with the building.

I'm an aerospace engineer. This isn't just a conspiracy theory. The engineering of how WTC 7 fell is absolutely impossible. When I say absolutely I mean the numbers are 1 in a trillion likely. This is the only steel building to ever fall from fire alone in the history of humanity and that's because it wasn't really only fire. It had 26 columns. The fire would have had to melt all 26 columns within a second of each other in order to create the engineering situation that takes the building to the ground at the speed of freefall gravity meaning no resistance from the support beams while falling. This is not a conspiracy theory.....it is scientific fact. Who did it and why we may never know.... it was absolutely without a doubt brought down by demolition at 5 o'clock pm on 9/11.

I studied electrical engineering at Sherbrooke University's coop program where I had a chance to get internships for an engineering firm specializing in institutional and commercial buildings, in the maintenance team for Sherbrooke University maintaining the electrical system for the entire campus, at a mining company working on the electrical system in the mine, and finally with a paper mill having similar responsibilities. After University, I found work as an assembler for my current employer assembling TEMPEST equipment for various government clients. After a year on the production floor, I was hired on the engineering team. Since then I have been designing TEMPEST equipment for the defense industry.
I was still at university on 9/11 and I remember the feeling of coming back home from class that morning and seeing the planes hit the buildings on TV... then seeing them collapse... over and over again...I remember seeing a quick news flash about WTC 7 which never made sense to me. No Plane, no official attack on it of any kind... really, no reason for it to fall. But, we went back to the reel of the planes hitting the two Towers and I kind of forgot about it. It was a few months later that I heard about it again and really started questioning it. I strongly believe that the demolition of WTC7 was planned and calculated. The only piece of the puzzle missing may have been a plane hitting it to give it a reason to fall. The evidence and the science behind it proves without the shadow of a doubt that there needs to be an independent study to finally find the truth on what happened to that building.

In 1993, Brian Thompson joined the local combination volunteer fire department, working beside Seattle firefighters and trained at the Washington State Fire Academy. Seven years later, he earned his undergraduate degree in civil engineering from Marquette University, including a 12-month internship in fire protection engineering at a consultancy in downtown Chicago. For the next 2 years he continued to work as a volunteer firefighter. Thompson then attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) where he earned his Master's Degree in Fire Protection Engineering. While at WPI, he attended Professor Jonathan Barnett's building fire safety lecture on the first anniversary of 9-11, in which Barnett describing his involvement and experience as a FEMA investigator, and their findings. Thompson's coursework also included fire dynamics, risk management and forensic analysis. He holds professional licenses in both Fire Protection Engineering and Civil Engineering in multiple states, and came into the role of Principal in 2006 practicing fire protection engineering design and consulting.
The lack of the FEMA team's ability to conduct a proper investigation of the original collapse conditions, the explanation developed by the FEMA team, and the subsequent contradictory conclusion by NIST, raised questions. In an effort to answer these questions, I have researched various information and data compiled by others. My research has left these questions unresolved, and reinforced my doubt in the official story regarding the cause of collapse for both WTC towers and Building 7.

I have 30 years of diverse design and on-site experience in the engineering field. My most relevant credentials in contributing to AE911truth is my extensive experience in computer simulation of structures and mechanical components. My active membership in NAFEMS is also a testament to my interest in modeling and simulation.
I recently reviewed much of the documentation that AE911truth has supplied and also other sources. My conclusion, based on my engineering experience and intuition, is that structures that are struck in a random nature do not respond with the type of symmetry we see in the WTC towers collapse. In fact, if one were hypothetically tasked to collapse these towers as symmetrically as they fell, it would be nearly impossible, at least for someone without expertise in demolition or other advanced techniques.

I'm a professional engineer with over 40 years of experience. I'm currently licensed in three states: Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. My education and experience relate to the properties of materials used in building port, harbor, and bridge infrastructure. As a licensed civil engineer I have been trained and tested in competency related to civil engineering including structural design and the behavior of building materials. My formal education in engineering and related fields was at the University of Oregon, Oregon State University, and the University of Alaska at Fairbanks. I was trained in arctic engineering in Alaska, where I worked on the Alaska pipeline project for Bechtel. My job included monitoring controlled demolition work to create a cut at the summit of the Brooks Range, in preparation for road and pipeline construction.
Like others who have commented I also have a huge question about how WTC building 7 came down later in the afternoon of September 11th. By visual observation, all three buildings exhibited free fall characteristics very similar to characteristics of a controlled demolition. Reviewing literature that described the structural members I have serious doubts regarding the free fall collapse of the interior columns of WTC 1 and 2 buildings over a distance of close to 100 floors as a result of a limited amount of jet fuel. It seems more likely that the majority of fuel burned quickly near the point of impact, consistent with other aircraft crashes. The huge fireball and black smoke observed shortly after the impact suggests the majority of fuel burned quickly and the fire became oxygen depleted. There was likely not enough fuel reaching the lower floors to cause a complete collapse of either building. There were reports of nanothermite in the dust, of molten steel in the basement, and of local fires burning for a week or more after the event. There were reports of multiple and sequential explosions. Some explosions were even reported prior to the impact of the aircraft. These facts all raise more questions about how the buildings may have actually been brought down.

The videos and descriptions of the fall of WTC7 make it clear to me that the official description of fire induced collapse is false. A renewed investigation to clarify what actually happened is very important for the whole world.

For the last 15 years, I believed much of the US government's account of the events of 9/11. However, after actually taking the time to do my own research I became aware of a number of troubling facts surrounding that day and the days leading up to 9/11. However, what really began to raise doubts in my mind was the way in which the towers fell. Although, I had seen the footage many times before, I decided to take a second look at the collapse of WTC-1, WTC-2 and WTC-7 not from the emotional or human perspective but through the eyes of an engineer/physicist. What I had failed to notice, even as an observer trained to examine events based on the laws of physics, was that all three buildings fell at near free-fall speeds with little to no apparent resistance from the floors below. This is physically impossible without the use of some form of controlled demolition charges. This realization shook me to the core and forced me to reaccess my world view and the version of history I had been given. I add my voice today to the many other scientist and engineers who are demanding the truth in hopes that if enough of us voice our concerns based on factual evidence and professional observation that the whole truth might be disclosed.

It's clear the planes didn't bring these buildings down. Explosions in the building's basement, falling at free fall, thermite residue found, steel columns cut at the bottom at 45deg angle, steel columns turned to liquid molten metal in no time and still be hot enough to keep this state days later... all of this is impossible for jet fuel. The BBC actually reported tower 7 fell 20 mins before it actually did! The hijacker's passports were found in the rubble completely fine when everything else was basically dust and debris'the list goes on and on.

The way building 7 collapsed (apparently in sympathy with the twin towers) raises huge questions about the official narrative. Reports of suppression of evidence for the earlier 9/11 commission as well as other evidence kept from the public from events decades earlier make it easy to question the official story.

As video evidence, eye witness accounts, and laboratory evidence proved, towers 1, 2, and 7 were brought down by a premeditated, controlled demolition using explosives containing nanothermite. I watched live the afternoon of 9/11 when WTC 7 collapsed. Having been involved in controlled demolitions in the past it was immediately obvious to me that building 7 was a controlled demolition. It fell at free fall (or very near) speed in its own footprint without suffering significant damage. In addition, WTC 1 and 2 were observed with molten steel flowing from them. We are expected to believe that jet fuel and office furniture burn hot enough to achieve this; however, structural steel like that used in the construction of the WTC buildings would need to reach around 2800 degrees Fahrenheit sustained to change from a solid to liquid state. Jet fuel burns at around half that with the ideal air/fuel ratio.

It is inconceivable that the thee WTC buildings imploded, symmetrically, with complete obliteration due to a plane crashing into the north and south tower, respectively. Physics, engineering, architecture, and design code have never before, nor will they ever in the future, facilitate such uniform destruction without the benefit of controlled demolition. The general public is easily convinced that building failure can happen as witnessed; however, educated, trained, and experienced professionals know better.

I concur that WTC 7 resembled a controlled demolition. The complete, symmetric collapse of 3 buildings in one day is not plausible. The WTC 7 collapse was too obviously a controlled demolition. I watched all the 9/11 scenarios unfold, live on major news networks throughout the day.

I got my BSEE from Stanford in 1964, and my MSEE in 1966. I worked in industry after that until I retired in 1997. My last job was at Boeing, in both the military and commercial divisions. Since I retired from Boeing, I have done quite a bit of tutoring in math and physics, at the high school and college levels.
Since about a week after the 9/11 bombing, I have thought that it was an inside job, by our own government. You might ask, why would our government want to do such a thing? My theory is that they knew we would be entering a protracted period of war in the Middle East to maintain control of world oil. The American public was very much against going to war, ever since Vietnam. The 9/11 bombing did, to a great extent, ignite war fever in this country, especially since they have conducted the war(s) without reviving the draft.

I have a BS in Computer Engineering from Tufts University Engineering School. I believe that everything has a scientific explanation, and anything that defies a scientific explanation is either bad science or something that is not yet conventional science. In other words, if science can't explain it, either the effect is something that exceeds current methods of scientific measure or your data is bad and/or your assumptions are incorrect.
Seeing that the collapse of all three WTC structures can be explained with classical chemistry and Newtonian physics, any evidence of molten steel would indicate that a form of combustion much hotter than the burning of jet fuel caused the failure of the steel structure. When approaching maximum oxidation efficiency, such as in the inside of a jet engine, jet fuel will burn at close to 1500 'C, however, fuel burning under normal atmospheric conditions, even with significant updraft, could burn no hotter than 1000-1100 'C. The melting point of high carbon steel is about 1350' C, depending on the specific alloy. Even with prolonged exposure to the the heat of that burn could cause steel to weaken enough for it to bend and collapse under its own weight, it would not produce 'rivers of molten steel'. That sounds more like something that would have been exposed to a much hotter flame for a short duration, such as thermite. A rapid burn would also better explain the collapse that resembles that of a demolition. It stands to reason that if the twin towers failed due to steel failure due to heat, it would have fallen at an angle as it would seem highly unlikely that the entire structure at the burn floor would fail simultaneously. What is harder to explain is the notion that the collapse of the twin towers not only caused the fire at 7 WTC, but that it was enough of a fire for the building to collapse as though it were demolished as well. Finally, there is the cold fact that none of the gold which was in the reserve at 7 WTC was recovered. Gold doesn't disappear regardless of whether it was melted or not. Put simply, there are just too many 'strange' facts in this incident for the standing explanation to be acceptable by any person of science, regardless of discipline. The fact that the report was rushed and debris was removed from the site with what can only be described as haste, one has to think there is more to the story. A lot more.

Originally earned an Associate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from RMIT in Melbourne. Then worked for 4 years at Technical Manager Land (Road and Rail) Transport for BHP Transport including work across Australia, in Indonesia, Peru and USA. About 60% expert witness reports for legal or potential legal cases related to injury or death or damage associated with materials handling, forklifts, road transport, heavy vehicles, railways, or Agriculture. Around 30% expert engineering advice to road and rail transport related to loading, restraining loads and unloading etc.
I was an observer on TV from near the start. I knew the WT Towers were the tallest steel buildings in the world and that they had no concrete central lift towers. And in order to get to that height all the steel members were load sharing to high levels, and fire protection to steel weight minimized. I reasoned it was possible the initial explosion/ impact had blown the fire protection of a lot of steel members, and that the fire had then caused the steel to heat up over time until it was weakened to the degree that a floor level failed - outside steel members being thrown outwards - and the impact of the top of the tower dropping caused the next floor to fail and so on. However when the WTC Report came out I became aware of the failure of WTC7 and that raised a lot of queries for me especially as there was no plane impact or plane fuel fire. As a result I eventually became aware of AE911Truth and joined.
