PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Being a civil engineer and understanding the laws of physics, I know that a building cannot fall a free fall speed without the floors already falling also giving no resistance. I wish our congressmen were as smart, and also showed some backbone and got a truly independent investigation going. Also, this 911 truth movement has shown to me that our press is as every bit controlled and spits out as much propaganda as I thought Pravda did for the old Soviet Union. My eyes have been awakened to many things, and I have come to learn that we do not live in as free a country as I thought we did, and with the passage of the Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act, it has become even less so. Let's elect Ron Paul and bring our country back under the Constituion!!

My father was a ground zero survivor on 9/11. I was previously a fire department service member, and I worked at ground zero during the freedom tower construction project in 2009. I have a bachelors in fire protection engineering, so I have more knowledge on this topic that the common man. I'm currently in pursuit of my PE in the same field. I now work as a government contractor to safeguard their facilities (nuclear power plants, VA medical centers, EPA laboratories) from fires and other disasters.
If a building is designed to withstand a plane impact, then it will. I have too much respect for the engineering field to argue that fact. Fire does not cause structural failure of that magnitude. Maybe a fire will cause a wooden shed to fall, but not a skyscraper at free fall speed. An asymmetrical structural failure (as the NIST report states for WTC 7), cannot cause a symmetrical collapse. The building would have tipped over.

I accepted the government's conspiracy story as given out by the main stream media and did not give much, if any, thought to it until a neighbor on March 1, 2006 brought me a story from the Desert Morning News in SLC, Utah. It was dated 1-28-06. I contacted the journalist and asked if there were any other stories and she sent me two others. After reading them and finally thinking about it and based on my engineering education and experience, I realized that we have been lied to and that there was a coverup. For instance if the floors pancaked and fell one on the other from the fires, which could not possibly melt and cut the steel, the 47 massive columns over a quarter mile high would still be standing! There was no forensic investigation and the steel fell in lengths that could be loaded and trucked to the west coast and shipped to Asia. Also the R9/11 Commission report did not mention the 47 story WTC 7, which fell the afternoon that the two towers fell in the morning! A sure sign of a false report. My opinion is that the 3 WTC buildings fell as a result of planted cutting charges - an inside job. Regarding the Pentagon, I believe from the size of the hole in the ext. wall and lack of airplane debris, that it must have been a missile. As for the 4th plane that supposedly crashed near Shanksville, PA, there was only a smoking hole in the ground and all the debris was scattered over a very wide area so it must have been shot down.

I spent some 7 years in the Mechanical Building Trade, and although my work never entailed work involving a high rise, it did entail the understanding of retrofits. I was also attending classes held by the GBCA in Philadelphia and working towards my license. On the afternoon of 9/11/2001, I was still in high school and my biology teacher (with a masters degree in Physics) taught us about the destruction of the Twin Towers. Building 7 was yet to fall. He taught us about the Third Law of Newtonian Physics, as well as Galileo's Law of Falling Bodies, and said with teary eyes, Your generation will have to find out who turned those buildings into grenades. The fact that this was one of the largest terror attacks in history, and which led to the first documented collapses of three steel framed buildings credited for engineering excellence warrants more research, scientific explanation, and independent investigation into all plausible reasons for the collapses. There are to many unanswered questions when it comes to the original report. And not just in the engineering/science aspect of it! First of all when liquids and/or fuel (diesel) makes contact with an object like the towers while traveling at those speeds, it would have the tendency to vaporize [rapidly], especially as it passed through the towers with the rest of the disintegration material, then when ignited this would have caused a faster-rapid burn, which it did, this can be seen in the size of the enormous fire plumes. Simply I cannot see the fuel coming to a stop while everything else continued on. Another, is the design of the towers and building 7, way to much resistance in the center core of a design like building7 , and the towers were designed for exactly this type of scenario, two of the best designed buildings in the world-ever. I believe that their outer mesh design was severed from its connection to the core aka [cutter-shape charges (concentrated thermite and/or packed tight], like unzipping your pants and letting gravity do the rest, just a theory, but to many unanswered questions!

The official story of 9/11, as laid out in the FEMA, NIST, and 9/11 Commission reports is fraudulent, and cannot possibly be true. There must be a proper investigation, by a fully qualified entity comprised of respected experts from the various relevant disciplines, entirely independent of the US administration. It must take evidence in public, with the power of subpeona, and its report must be made public in all respects. In particular, the inquiry must look at the destruction of the 3 World Trade Center Towers; its investigation should rule out nothing in advance, and should follow the evidence wherever that leads.
