PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The theory that the towers came down through office fires is not plausible and incoherent. It does not agree with our knowledge of steel structures. When a scientific theory is rejected by a substantial number of your colleagues, one cannot simply ignore this and pretend to go on as usual. Within the academic world, such an attitude is considered unscientific. Within our post-911 world this attitude is primarily seen as immoral. It is clear that the people want that we stop and account for what has happened. So far, they feel this has not been done. If this is the will of the people, then there ought to be a follow-up. It is indeed a decision between going on and stopping. It is truly a paradox. When we decide to go on as usual our future will come to a halt. Yet, when we stop now and provide an account, a new and certain future will open up that is based on their trust and confidence.

In the shocking moments of the collapse, my first reaction to the building failure was that there was no way 2 separate steel buildings struck by a plane could possibly come straight down completely pulverized and then a third building nearly unscathed suffer an identical failure. I feel that the media effectively force-fed the population a misconstrued version of the story. With all the horror and fear and confirmation from experts and eventually war, even I began to replace my initial reaction and knowledge with the thought that stranger things have happened even in the world of engineering. But more so; what would the horrible truth implicate and how would a nation react? Let us not forget that even the Pentagon damage raises questions. Nonetheless; as a member of the engineering society whose duty is to the safety of the public, I believe that too many people have died and too many provocative questions have been dismissed for us to ignore the need for a genuine investigated.

I'm an overhaul and maintenance engineer for hydro generation, with a strong emphasis in power system stability, relay engineering, and controls engineering. I work with a consulting firm conducting power system stability analysis and excitation system design.
The work done by professionals to refute the NIST report is concise and simple. When simulating the power grid, results are never perfect and can be misleading. It is possible to adjust parameters until a desired outcome is achieved. Simulation of grid parameters are obtained from testing of the equipment only. Repeated simulations where parameters are modified to fit desired outcomes is considered dry labbing. The NIST report appears to be based mainly on computer simulation tuned to achieve the desired outcome of a plane and fire collapsing the towers, but it disregards any test results. I have faith in physics, not in the NIST report.

I have no reason to believe that the Bush admin. (or any other for that matter) are any more honest or innocent than say the brutal Roman powers 2000 years ago, amongst a whole slew of other corrupt governmental powers throughout our collective history (including many that are currently in power throughout the world). I think it is quite clear, or rather glaringly obvious, that something happened on 9/11 that 'they' don't want us to know, and I'm pretty sure We as The People are not going to be too happy when it is finally revealed, if (and that's a big if) it is ultimately revealed at all.

I currently don't work in a scientific/architectural capacity, although those and other technical sciences have always been of high interest to me. I've had some college, and architectural drafting in high school (class of 88'). I have, however spent nearly 20 years in gaming, dealing with statistics, odds, and percentages...and rare occurrances. I believe in, and understand the possibilities yet am tempered with the odds.
Even without all that, basic highschool science and mathematics would have made me question the rare and illogical coincidence/perfected chaos of 3 buildings (one untouched by highly intense outside force... structural trauma due to high-velocity & great-mass equaling overwhelming force-per-square-inch...enough to overwhelm the structural integrity of a building like WTC 7), all collapsing nearly perfectly straight down, into their own footprints! I have checked into much of the information about the 9/11 views, hypothesis, personal accounts (as well as remembering live interviews and other media coverage at the time and soon after the event). There will always be those who question events, in the validity, accuracy, pre and post changes/attitudes/media coverage. Many people don't trust authority figures...for good reason. IF we are to be a free country we must always be critical, ask questions, demand truth and transparency, and force elected officials and others in positions of authority to be dedicated to the integrity of those positions. Not all those who question, have theories, or stir the pot lead to the truth I'm sure...BUT, we learn more through failures than success, and become complacent without trials and struggle to overcome. That being said, the overwhelming reasonable doubts about the NIST findings, the unchecked evidence, the NON-standard and unorthodox (compared to any lower government or private investigation proceedings or standards of practice in those cases) investigation WARRANTS that we as citizens PUSH for an investigation that mirrors the integrity, detail, legality, scrutiny and transparency that any one of us citizens would be held to. How long has it been that our elected officials, authority figures, and power elite have not been held to the same standards, bound and governed by the same laws, or scrutinized with the same focus and detail as are we the people?

I am convinced that fire did not bring down any of the 3 towers of the World Trade Center. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that military chemicals were used to weaken the iron supports to allow these buildings to fall in free fall, or no resistance. I am also convinced that several explosions of a controlled demolition took out the supports that allowed the building to collapse into themselves in a free fall.

From the moment I saw the first Tower fall and turn to dust and rubble, I knew something wasn't right. When the 2nd Tower fell just as fast, it too, looked like one of the many implosions I witnessed from the hotels being destroyed in Las Vegas, in times past. But when Building 7 fell, I was amazed that the reporters on television weren't skeptical of why that Building fell as well. There were three planes and three buildings. Flight 93 was interrupted by vigilante citizens so never made it to WTC7. So they decided to pull the building !!! Fire Fighters were saying on the footage that explosions happened on the first floor ,as they were going in to save people ! The video of Building 7 is the most damning. I used to not think much when I would hear that 9/11 was an inside job, but after learning that no skyscraper had ever collapsed due to fire, I was compelled to look at the videos from that day. The way those Towers fell deifies the laws of physics. even as a layman I can tell that it is simply impossible for a building to collapse in that manner due to a structural fire.

I am not an engineer or an architect but when I first saw the footage of the buildings collapse, something appeared off. It reminded me all to well of a las vegas casino implosion. I think any logical and educated person with an appreciation for science in place of fox news can see that the official story is physically impossible.
The official story that it was the burning of the jet fuel that brought down the twin towers seems completely off to me. When the size of the fuel tanks in each wing of even the largest passenger airliner is compared to the size of a twin tower, it doesn't make any sense to me that more than 5 or 10 stories would be destroyed let alone the entire building collapsing from underneath

Do to the overwhelming evidence, I think there needs to be an independent investigation of 9/11. Why is the government allowing murderers to get away? As others have stated this could not have been done by a few muslims they had to been assisted by others.

I have always been suspicious of the explanations given, especially regarding the molten steel, the lack of engines at PA/DC, and the mysterious fire-drop of WTC7. God help the many of those who are suffering as a result.

Building 7 was not hit by a plane! Funny, that the day before, it was announced that $2.3 trillion dollars was missing. And, the locations holding the information behind the missing money, the Pentagon and Bldg 7, were hit by a plane or pulled.

I am an engineering student at the University of the Fraser Valley in my 3rd year.
I am an enraged citizen who has been been lied to by the U.S Government and the NIST. I am aware of the scientific evidence supporting the use of controlled demolitions in all three world trade center building collapses on 9/11.
