PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The blatantly dishonest official story, the cover up and media efforts to hide the obvious are frankly very scary to me. A new and thorough investigation is absolutely needed, but it must be conducted by those outside the influence of the perpetrators. Perhaps this new investigation is a task for a foreign government, possibly Canada, or the UN.

I am qualified with a Masters degree in the first class in the subject of civil engineering from the University of Nottingham, UK. Since graduating in 2004 I spent six years as a civil engineer in Manchester, working mainly in the area of structural design and including over 2 years of construction site experience. Having researched every aspect of the collapses using sources such as the videos presented on the A&E website, it is my dedicated opinion that controlled demolition was responsible. Drawing on my structural engineering experience, my knowledge of physics, the evidence presented in numerous credible websites and books, and above all basic common sense, I consider gravitational collapse to be a wholly inaccurate description for the collapse mechanism as it is not in keeping with any of the physical evidence. Such evidence is easily accessible online for anyone who is willing to do their own research, though willingness appears to come second to willful ignorance in many cases, then worst of all there is apathy. Out of the many unexplained anomalies uncovered in the official story of 9/11, the building collapses (particularly WTC7) are the aspects most communicable to the public in raising awareness of these anomalies along with the puzzling fact that we do not yet have any proof of who orchestrated the attacks.

I have been tangentially involved with fire rating of control and transformer rooms.

Without preheated air, I see no way to obtain those temperatures. and oxygen starved fires, as shown by the red and flames and smoke, make it impossible to obtain those temperatures. - - 3: The instantaneous collapse. Although I am not a structural engineer, that makes no sense to me. Heat processes take time. - - 4: Even the NIST says the jet fuel burned quickly and the fires were office fires.

years ago i saw the nova documentary on the collapse, accepted it and never thought about it again. it was several months ago a friend (himself a mechanical engineer) brought to my attention the possibility of controlled demolition being used to bring down the towers. i went online and within thirty minutes (and having as well gained about fifteen thousand hours experience in construction since the nova video) was convinced that explosives were used to bring down the buildings - with building seven video being the so-called smoking gun, both the way it fell in on itself and the rate at which it fell seemed highly suspicious. to commemorate the tenth anniversary I spent some time looking at the videos again and spent time reflecting on the ramifications of the day and the implications of the truth being covered up. this left me a bit angry and wanting to do something. (currently I'm trying to figure out if an inelastic collision can described the pancake model of collapse, together with conservation of momentum and the equations of motion to come up with a minimum time, according to newton, of the collapse. surely someone has done this already?) best regards, troy mcgarrigle

There is no one specific event (however WTC7 is a bit of a no brainer) but there are so many holes in the official story that it would be hard to believe there ISN'T a cover up. If there is no cover up then why would the authorities withhold evidence that would prove their case. It makes no sense to do so does it? Pentagon video footage for example. As I'm sure no-one believes that a building of that nature would not be covered from every angle and in real time. I believe that anyone with a little common sense would question the official line.

I have always been concerned that something was fishy regarding how a high hit on the Towers could cause this kind of a structural collapse. I spent some time in aerospace during the moon lauch period and witnessed an oxygen/hydrogen fire on our test stand during hot firings. The metal burned because of the high fire temp, but did not collapse. Yes, the floors above the impact area rightly collapsed due to lose of structural integrity but that has no bearing on the lower floors collapsing.

WTC Building 7 fell on Sept. 11, 2001. All video evidence implies that the building fell from a demolition explosion, not from a fire as previously suggested. There was found evidence of thermite at the site that has never been investigated. It is time now, to fully investigate. And to answer many questions, including: 1) When was the building originally rigged for demolition? I have been involved in construction for years. I have seen the implosions of buildings brought down to make room for newer taller buildings. I know beyond a doubt what an imploded building looks like when it comes down and i have seen a building after one side did not come down immediately.

Free fall speed of a collapsing steel building with no resistance from the undamaged part of the structure itself. The Laws of Physics suspended; how is this possible? 7WTC collapses with very little impact damage from the planes. The WTC site was technically a crime scene but evidence was allowed to be removed without investigation. Unexplained explosions in the sub-basements of one of the WTC building; I think it was the North Tower.

Years ago I read about and saw videos of the Conspiracy Theory and explanations about how the towers actually fell. I believe the investigation should continue.

I am an artist, born and now living in the United States. In addition to gallery exhibits I have been commissioned to paint many portraits, including being commissioned by the Federal Government to paint an official portrait of a Cabinet Member during the Clinton Administration.
I was in New York on 9/11/01. It was my home. I would like to add my name to the others asking for a new investigation to uncover the truth about what brought the towers down. Policies undertaken in response to the events of that day have caused so much human suffering. The official explanation makes no sense to me. From history I can see that if I do not speak up, I am endorsing all that has followed. I cannot do that.

My job is to design and follow an audiovisual installation. In substance I work for televisions and radios in France or speaking French countries.
I just can't believe official story. We need truth. There are too many contradictions in the official theory. It's not a chance that it justifies the American foreign policy. Passports found intact, the trajectory of the plane into the Pentagon, WTC 7 falling on its base after fire, for me it's too big to be believed. I studied the mechanics of static and dynamic forces and also have some knowledge of material strength, my instinct leads me to skepticism.

The collapse of WTC 7 in perfect demolition style within minutes of the owner Larry Silverstein giving the Fire Dept. Chief direct orders to Pull It (as seen on video and heard on audio) is enough evidence that 9/11 was in fact an inside job. There is no reason for this building to collapse in almost free fall speed into itself from a few office fires.
