To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Given an even basic understanding of high school physics, it's painfully obvious that high rises do not suddenly pulverise mid-air; fire-protected structural steel will not melt when exposed briefly to a pool of burning jet fuel; and virtually undamaged office buildings built to code simply cannot collapse symmetrically at near-free fall speed due to a few limited fires. Clearly, the 9/11 tragedy was not a physics-defying Hollywood blockbuster, despite what the official narrative desperately would like us to believe. It was a real-world event, with real people perishing, and with untold suffering and damage as a direct consequence. We owe it to the victims of that fateful day to expose the nonsensical reasoning (or lack of reasoning) that makes up the bulk of the NIST 'investigation' -- we would merely have to let the evidence and the laws of nature speak for themselves, that's all.

The nearly free-fall velocity and the symmetrical path of collapse of Building 7, the confined footprint of the building's debris, the lack of any external force applied to the building's exterior are suspicious. Coupled with these factors, a visual comparison of the collapse with that of buildings being leveled by professional, controlled demolition suggests that the cause officially attributed to the failure (weakening of the structural members due to fire) is exceedingly unlikely. The true cause was likely an intentional, controlled demolition using explosive thermal charges typically employed for such purposes. The failures of WTC Buildings 1 and 2, likewise, are suspicious due to the inherent design strength of the buildings' cores to withstand aircraft impact; the relatively low temperature of a kerosene fire v. the temperature required for structural steel failure; the presence of subterranean molten steel, suggesting that a high-temperature cutting material was employed (thermate or a derivative); the debris cloud, which resembled that from an explosion; and like Building 7, the near free-fall velocity of collapse. Together these factors suggest that the cause of collapse was an intentional deployment of a professionally designed and executed demolition process utilizing systematically and remotely detonated, thermal cutting charges strategically situated throughout the buildings on key structural support members and their joints.

Consider the sheer mass of the building compared to the mass of the jet. Buildings don't fall faster than free fall. The buildings falling resembled controlled demolitions. What happened to building 7? Why were 4 foot cross sectional I-beams cut at 45 degree angles? Why were they finding hot molten steel in the sub basements weeks afterward?

To me the video showing the buildings falling looked very much like a controlled demolition. I do not think an airplane alone could take down a building in its entirety the way the towers fell. An airplane strike would probably just burn at the top and then eventually burn out.

Until the Ten Year Anniversary of September 11th 2001, although I had often 'felt' uneasy about the media driven explanation for the events of 9/11, I had not ever followed through on investigating the source of my uneasy feelings. In November 2011, I saw a documentary - 'Zero: An Investigation into 9/11' - and since then I have been researching the destruction - NOT THE COLLAPSE - of the Twin Towers and Building 7 of the WTC, NYC. I lived and worked in NYC from Feb 1998 - June 2001 and I loved being in NY. It is clear to me that the truth about what brought down all three WTC buildings on Sept 11, 2001 have been covered up by governments all over the world. It is obvious from the scientific evidence - brought to light by Dr Steven Jones almost two years ago - that all three WTC buildings were brought down by explosives. This is CLEAR to the naked eye - but confirmed by scientific evidence - the Twin Towers exploded into dust as they came down which is impossible to achieve without explosives. Active thermate residue found in the dust of the exploded towers and Bld 7 is the evidence ignored (covered up) by the US government and all western governments. One only has to watch the footage of the Twin Towers 'collapsing' to witness the explosive power of thermate - silently blowing apart tonnes of concrete, steel, glass and human bodies. Thus, said bodies, concrete and glass were destroyed - disintegrated - indistinguishable - in the remains - just twisted steel at ground zero. THIS IS THE TRUTH - the buildings were brought down by explosives so powerful - so silent - that all concrete and over one thousand people - were completely destroyed. This was no 'collapse' but an act of terrorism that has been covered up for nearly twelve years. It is time this act of terrorism was exposed! Release the truth of 9/11 - Thermate and explosives brought down the buildings and killed nearly 3,000 people!

The day it happened I was having a beer with a USAF person watching the news and I asked him if the site of the airliner that supposedly was brought down by the brave passengers looked like a crash site to him? I am a normal, concerned citizen who has no conspiracy theories about 9/11.
I remember thinking on 9/11 that it seemed strange that two enormous steel towers would collapse down so quickly and cleanly, but then I accepted the official story and did not think about it again. Not until Sept 11, 2012 (11 years later), when I saw Explosive Evidence did I remember that strange feeling of doubt I had initially at seeing a tower collapse because of a single airplane. And I had never heard of Building 7 until the documentary -- and this information made me question further the legitimacy of the NIST report. I am not a conspiracy theorist at all -- I just think an independent report is needed, and soon. But, even I can see that the evidence shows that the NIST report has wrong and inaccurate elements.

I don't understand about how the Twin Towers and Building 7 fell straight down in such a short space of time. We cannot leave these questions unanswered. It is an insult to the victims to try and block out the truth.

I have considered the evidence put forward by Architects and Engineers for Nine Eleven truth since first coming across the issue at a stall in Trafalgar Square London, in 2009. I regard the personalities whom I have seen speak in recordings, such as the movement's founder Richard Gage, AIA; Ed Asner and David Ray Griffin as trustworthy and knowledgeable. I believe that no one would pursue this cause unless the evidence were unimpeachable.
