On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Having watched and read all of the testimony and evidence posted by Richard Gage over the past decade, I urge the Congress to create an independent commission to fully investigate the collapse of the three World Trade Center buildings, and not to arbitrarily rule out any possible scenario or conspiracy that could have led to the patently false official NIST report. Testimony by the first-responders who observed and heard what they have reported were explosions, melting steel, and chemical traces which are not consistent with the theory that airplanes caused the fires and collapse of WTC I and II; and the full unedited free-fall photographic evidence of the collapse of WTC 7 should be included in their study. If Congress does not agree to this, then a public subscription for an independent analysis by distinguished experts from universities abroad should be undertaken.

I have 20 years post graduate experience as a structural engineer working in the offshore oil and gas, and laterally, renewable energy sectors. I have been running my own consultancy company for the last 10 years providing structural engineering services to offshore wind, wave and tidal energy projects.
The collapses of the towers appear to happen in a symmetric fashion at free fall velocity - indicating the use of demolition. Molten metal in the basement and columns sliced neatly at 45 degrees indicates the use of thermite. The collapse of Building 7 is particularly suspicious given that it was only hit by falling debris - and if was going to collapse at all - it certainly would not have been symmetrical - nor complete.Fire endurance tests with actual models failed to cause collapse. The NIST structural simulations - are not full simulations from the moment of impact to final collapse and the failure mechanisms seem to have been manually adjusted rather than relying on the pure physics capabilities of the software. The pulling forces on the perimeter columns by the sagging floors were adjusted' (NIST, 2005, p. 142) to cause yielding. A full and proper non-partisan peer reviewed set of analysis simulations has yet to be carried out. I suspect proper simulation will verify the physical model test results i.e. the buildings would not have collapsed due to aircraft impact alone.

I am a 47 year-old translator. For almost 13 years, I have worked for a company that engineered and produced steel cutting machines and related equipment. During that time, I was responsible for the translation of operation manuals and maintenance manuals of those machines and that equipment, I also translated some patents. I have thus rather extensive knowledge with respect to steel cutting and what it takes to make this material bend or melt.
You don't have to be an expert (e.g. architect or engineer), and you don't even have to have the knowledge that I gathered in my job - you just need common sense to figure out that the official version cannot be correct. An office fire - even if there are plenty of them in one building - could never melt steel. All three buildings came down straight, too perfectly and too quickly, i.e. without any resistance. For 11 years now, I have been extremely troubled by these mysterious events of 9/11. My view of the world has changed since then - not for better.

I lived in NYC over a period of 18 years. It was my friend and my treasure. The Twin Towers were my sign post. I watched the destruction of the Twin Towers, as did the nation, floor by floor. I first noticed the explosions that were occurring under the next collapsing floor and began to wonder WHAT? When I heard the evening news report that Building 7 had collapsed with no near proximity to the Twin Towers I knew that all was not well in our nation. I knew that there would be a report with little explanation for such an anomaly. To this day there is no satisfactory truth-bearing explanation.

I had a strong focus on Natural Sciences including Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry in high school, which I have found more than sufficient to realize that the official explanation for the cause of the collapses is unsatisfactory. Additionally, I am a member of Mensa - the high IQ society - which I believe is suggestive of an ability for logical reasoning.
My main concerns are: 1. The speed at which the buildings fell - with no signs that there was any force decelerating the fall, which one would expect given that all floors below the impact floors were unaffected by the fire and therefore should have provided strong resistance to a downward force. 2. The direction in which the buildings fell - given that the plane impacts and resulting fires have been regarded as the key to the collapse of the Twin Towers the only kind of collapse I would have potentially regarded as possible would have been for the top parts of the buildings to have fallen in the direction of where the plane entered the building as this area would have been the most severely damaged and the part with the most significant structural weakening. Rather, the resulting was not in line with what the laws of physics would suggest given that the building fell in the direction where it should have encountered most resistance had the total of more than 200 steel columns (of which 47 were located in the center) not lost their bearing capacity at the same time. 3. The fact that WTC 7 collapsed at all - In addition, the collapse had the same two characteristics that highlighted above as my key concerns around the collapses of the Twin Towers. 4. The fact that there have been recordings of a very large number of witnesses that experienced the attack and said that they heard, saw and even were injured by explosions inside the Twin Towers. Yet, the official reports have not even made an effort to establish whether or not this is true. 5. The presence of molten steel in the bottom of the rubble of all three buildings. This is very key and yet no official explanation has been given as to what could have caused this. Yet, the presence of molten steel is evident that something burning with a much higher temperature than Jet Fuel (or any other products found in an office) was present. 6. The removal/destruction of the rubble. In my view every single piece of the buildings should have been kept and carefully investigated. Given that the official theory suggests structural failures light-years beyond anything the world has ever witnessed or experienced before one would think that every inch of all steel would be carefully analyzed to determined what caused such unprecedented collapses of buildings to make sure that nothing similar ever happens again, and so that other high-rise buildings can be reinforced.

I do not have a degree of any kind - I only know what my heart tells me, and my heart tells me there were so many who needlessly died that day, and many more died, and continue to die even today as a result of that day.
In viewing the numerous videos of the planes going into the Towers, rocket fuel and other fuels differ in color, which led me to believe there was something more than just the fires from the planes. Also, the fact that all planes were grounded except for a plane picking up the Bin Laden family in the hours following the attack was suspect, since Bin Laden hadn't yet taken credit for the destruction. The fact that the scene of the crime hadn't been processed and the destruction was carried away so hastily was also suspect. In an old movie, The Long Kiss Goodnight, the World Trade Center was a government-planned attack used to get a blank check from Congress for the defense budget - I don't think this was any different. I always knew in my heart that there was WAY more to this than a Holy War, considering we funded Bin Laden years ago.

When I first saw the video of Building 7 collapse, I understood, even as a layman without training in architecture, physics or building demolition, that something was very, very wrong. It was so symmetrical when it fell, it looked planned...Why did the government haul away evidence so quickly? Why did the government ignore the warnings that the attacks were coming? Why did the government lie about Iraq's involvement in the crime of 9/11? If we don't get to the truth of this crime, I believe the U.S. will never recover. I've longed believe this.

Concerned that so many first responders reported hearing explosions throughout the building and this wasn't explored extensively. Also why was there molten steel?

Hi, I am a dental student set to graduate in 2014. I trained in biochemistry in undergrad with a heavy emphasis on tertiary protein structure. Some of my research includes modification of the GFP protein through PCR and varies other techniques. I am familiar with the use of ELISA, microarrays, Western, Southern, and Northern Blot techniques. Currently I am working on patients in dental school and preparing to apply to an oral surgery residency.
We are regular people who in retrospect have become untrusting of the official story of 9/11. It seems improbable that planes alone could bring down such large buildings. Not to mention the building that collapsed without being struck by a plane, Tower 7. These attacks were used as justification for two long and bloody wars, especially bloody for the native peoples of the countries we invaded, and I want better evidence from our government that these wars we are fighting are justified by a true terrorist attack.

The tragedy haunts me and I have buried my head for far too long. After exhaustive research, I have come to believe that the twin towers could not have collapsed as a result of planes hitting the buildings. As sad as it is to say, I believe this was a planned event, with explosives placed in strategic places in the towers for an inevitable outcome of collapse. I do not believe the 911 commission's analysis.

I'm not an architect, but have had enough science background and enough knowledge of physics that the movie about 9/11 Explosive Evidence bears out - these were explosions, and it was not fire that brought the buildings down.
I'm not an architect, but it doesn't take an architect to see (especially with Building 7 imploding) that this was a planned and carefully executed group of explosions.

Welder and CWI. Have been involved with the erection of steel structures for 8 years.
It does not take an architect or an engineer to question the probability of the twin towers falling due to extreme heat caused by jet fuel. The towers fell just as professionally demolished buildings do, they nearly free fell. There is no possible way for the entire steel structure of those buildings to lose most of their integrity in an instant by a fire, 90 stories above, regardless of the weight of the stories above, and regardless of how hot it was.

WTC 1 and 2 withstood the impact of the aircraft, as they were designed to do. The fuel fire was clearly extinguishing rapidly. Another source of high energy produced large explosions. Then additional explotions preceeded down the building columns. Clearly this type of energy source does not exist in a common skyscraper. The only possible explanation is that a carefully planned demolition was carried out. This is true with WTC 7 as well.
