PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have not yet seen a convincing CIA/NSA/government-sponsored 'debunker' come up with an alternative analysis. We also need to stress that there is lots of circumstantial evidence out there that is as convincing as the physical evidence. I don't think the government will willingly fund another investigation. Spreading the message is far more important for now.

Even though my personal domain of competence is not civil engineering nor materials, I feel that the 'official version' of 9/11 does not make sense. Hello. I am a tradesman, a structural welder who cuts, shapes, and fuses metals together. I know how heat affects metal, and the temperatures associated with these processes. In these cases, any momentary loss of heat to your workpiece sets you back, or won't give you the results you expect. It has to be hot enough and consistent to achieve your result. Especially in the case of cutting steel beams and heavy material. The heat is constantly being drawn away from your cut by the cooler metal surrounding it. You have to have intense heat not being interrupted, to achieve a decent cut. If I don't have my flame set just right on my cutting equipment, it will not cut properly or at all. The ideas presented that these Tower fires were hot enough and consistent enough to weaken or cut those huge beams is absurd.

I have been educating myself on these events, and all the subsequent events and policy changes, losses of liberties and freedoms, control measures being put into place as a result of this catalyst, which enabled the introduction of the patriot act and the barrage of new laws and control mechanisms that followed. I have worked in the construction industry for over 30 years and have a good understanding of basic, everyday physics as it relates to mass/resistance to the energy of opposing mass and acceleration particularly as applied to buildings.
I have difficulty understanding how the official explanation of the pancake effect could have plausibly happened. How does a mass above fall through a mass below without meeting some resistance? Even if somehow that was what happened in the case of the North Tower, which was hit slightly higher than mid-height, it doesn't account for the huge amount of molten iron found under the rubble 6 weeks after the fact, and the presence of so much thermite. The South Tower and Building 7 look very much like a controlled demolition.

I was educated in mechanical, electrical, structural, civil, and environmental engineering as well as material science. It is without doubt that all three of the World Trade Center buildings brought down on 9/11/01 were, in fact, brought down with explosives in purposeful demolition fashion, a fact that the U.S. government chooses to lie to the American people about. Any thinking person can readily see and understand this fact without having a degree in structural engineering or architectural engineering and such other degrees. The U.S. government is relying upon deceit, normalcy bias, cognitive dissonance, and the ignorant trust of the American people. Buildings cannot fall at nearly free-fall speeds without having nearly all support removed nearly simultaneously. Granted, they did not come down at pure free-fall speed but nearly so due to the fact that some crushing resistance was met as the buildings were imploded. The extent of the government cover-up indicates guilt by either proactive participation or by failure to act and now by cover-up within the upper tiers of government. And if the government is lying about the three World Trade Center buildings, they are most assuredly lying about many other aspects of the events that took place on 9/11. I do not believe the government (especially the top tiers thereof) have the moral fiber to do what is right, therefore, it is incumbent upon the lower tiers to see the truth and to initiate the incarceration of the guilty no matter how high up in office the guilt goes. A President is not above the law, especially when the murder of thousands is involved. High crimes of treason have been committed. Stop the cover-up!

I am a Canadian citizen that strongly believes that something has to be done about this. I do not have any expertise in this matter, but I believe strongly that the families and the victims need justice! If not in this world, than in another. They will pay!
After researching, and maintaining my own opinion, even after watching a lot of conspiracy documentaries, I have concluded that in my opinion that it does not make sense that these buildings shouldn't have fallen the way that they did. Without any expertise, but with common knowledge, I believe that these buildings would have sustained major damage at the point of entry and several floors below and above. I believe that these areas would have burned for a very long time because of the amount of fuel and energy! I also believe anyone below the point of impact of that building would have had lots of time to get out safely. As for World Trade Center 7, it seems very unlikely that the building would collapse with just some debris damage! It takes a lot for a building to collapse and this is just going off of common sense

I have always been a 'hands on' person, from pre-school to the present. I have worked with all types of electro-mechanical design/installation/service over 30 years because it is a passion for me to do what others won't try. I learned through real world experience what is....and isn't....period. I notice the small things (flaws, cracks, etc.) in large things (buildings, freeway overpasses, etc.) that most folks never see.
Like so many people it took me a while for the shock of 9/11 to wear off. Like a thumb hit with a hammer, I was numbed. A year later I started to open my eyes and look at the facts of the events rather than looking for someone to blame. There are so many overlapping facts I witnessed: nearly free-fall speed, multiple explosions, symmetrical collapse, molten steel) that do not match the logic of natural laws or common sense.

There is still a possibility that the Twin Towers could have collapsed, and it is still believable, but what about Building 7? Building 7 was different. It was not hit by a plane and the collapse started at the bottom, like an implosion. Building 7 was actually in freefall for a few seconds, so it must have been an implosion. There's a video that was taken near WTC7 and there were sounds of explosions in it, similar to controlled demolitions. It is a 99.9% chance that it was brought down by explosions, not office fires on a few stories. It is almost impossible to collapse that way if it was brought down by office fires. It is THE WAY THAT IT COLLAPSES that concerned me. It is NOT THE FACT THAT IT COLLAPSED. My main concern is for Building 7.
