PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

When I saw the events of 9/11, I was a senior in high school. At the time I did not know much about building construction in general, but I could not overcome the feeling that something was wrong about the collapses. I remember thinking how fortunate they were that the buildings did not fall over, killing more people in the process. However, after revisiting the events of 9/11 six years later, I have realized that there is much more that must be investigated and this investigation is of absolute importance, given the stakes of the outcome.

The results of the peer-reviewed study published in The Open Chemical Physics Journal, 2009, 2, 7-31 (link http://www.bentham-open.org/pages/content.php?TOCPJ/2009/00000002/00000001/7TOCPJ.SGM) contains clear scientific proof that unreacted nanothermite explosive fragments were found in the dust from the world trade center collapse. Methods used for analysis include optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, spectroscopy, and calorimetry. They witnessed and photographed triggered micro-explosions from the nanothermite fragments. These microexplosions produced the same heat and force output as laboratory nanothermite. The dust was sampled from four different locations soon after the collapses. One sample was collected about ten minutes after the collapses of WTC buidlings 1 & 2. All dust samples produced essentially the same findings. The unreacted explosive fragments can clearly be seen under low-power magnification, as photographs from the paper illustrate. This type of explosive is apparently untraceable, unlike most kinds of demolition materials. Eight different authors from universities and organizations around the world including Denmark, Utah, Indiana, Australia, Berkeley, Dallas contributed to this paper. This kind of science cannot be fudged. After reading this I became convinced that the reason for the clear and undeniable presence of explosive residue in the dust should be thoroughly re-investigated, espcecially since the NIST & FEMA reports did not even look for or mention these findings.

The NIST Bldg 7 report, NIST NCSTAR 1-9 concludes that Bldg. 7 collapsed due to ordinary building contents fires, not fires from leaking pressurized fuel lines or fuel from day tanks. in section 8.2 page 324. It also concedes in section 14.2 page 617 that this would be, the first known instance of the total collapse of a tall building primarily due to fires. In section 8.9.2 Hypothetical Blast Events on pages 356 & 357 it considers the possibility of explosive demolition and assumes a 9 lb. RDX charge would have been required to initiate collapse and estimates the resulting blast pressure would have broken many windows and been audible on recordings made at the time. It says that these events did not occur, thus excluding the possibility of explosive demolition. However, unburned particles of thermite were found in dust samples collected on 9/11. Thermite is not an explosive. It would burn thru steel, not blow it apart. It would not have produced a blast pressure wave of the sort produced by RDX. There is no mention of thermite in the NIST report, so it is incomplete. 9/11 Commission Chairman Kean, Vice Chairman Hamilton, Senior Counsel Farmer, Counsel Rundlet, & Member Roemer have stated variously that government witnesses lied to them, withheld evidence, and obstructed their investigation. Commission member Cleland resigned from the Commission stating that the investigation had been compromised.

It wasn't until December 2006 that I came across Professor Steven Jones' paper and realised that there had to be a major issue here. I read further articles and books, discussed issues at meetings and contributed in forum discussions. My attention turned to the question of how it is possible to keep something like this quiet for so long, since that would mean that normal scientific processes were being interfered with in a big way. The fact that this petition is even necessary means that there has to be something hugely wrong.

The building was not hit by a plane and suffered relevantly minor damage from fire. Something else transpired at building 7. That opens Pandora's box. What happened, and why does the 911 commission report ignore that building collapse in totality. What happened in totality that day. What about the drills being performed by Northcom at the exact same time? What hit the Pentagon, it wasn't a commercial plane! I have four children, and all that I could ever ask for, or demand for, is the truth.

I was completely shocked initially. I was only young, and as everyone around me believed that it was an act of terrorism, so did I. I had never heard of Osama Bin Laden and so I assumed that the US government obviously knew better than I did. In reflection, after seeing that the attack led the US (and UK with them) to war with two countries, the aftermath and seeing what the US gained through the war in the Middle East it became apparent that maybe the US has motives to be there other than to avenge the people who lost their lives on 9/11. After comparing the video of the Twin Towers to other controlled demolitions, and watching the DVD from AE911 truth, the evidence is extremely compelling. If over 10,000 people who are US CITIZENS are supporting the allegation that maybe 9/11 was an inside job, why hasn't the government answered back in their defense yet?

I was first shocked when I watched this tragedy on TV, and when I saw the Towers collapse, I couldn't understand why and how the terrorists also used explosives, because the blasts were evident for me. I then believed the official story, and forgot about this first impression. Five years later, a friend told me that the Towers had been blasted, but I was so sure of the official story, that it took him two weeks to convince me to watch Loose Change. Then I remembered my first thoughts, it was a second shock, as deep as the first. I did a lot of research on the net, read books on history and geopolitics to understand the context and precedents, participated in a forum of journalists to understand why they kept silent on the topic, wrote letters to journalists, without success. I believe the factual physical evidence on the collapse of the World Trade Center buildings indicates the buildings were demolished with explosives. Each individual piece of evidence -- pulverized concrete, pyroclastic clouds, molten steel, thermitic material, etc. -- raises suspicion, but the sum of all of the pieces is sufficiently convincing to demand a more thorough investigation.

Prior to college I had been a glazier installing plate glass in high rise construction and store fronts. My college experience gave me an even broader understanding on design and structure of different building types and became well acquainted with the well established facts concerning the life long safety high rise structures present. My work in and on high rise construction, together with my college education, made it very easy to understand the story presented to the public does not support the facts related to high rise construction. Buildings of this nature are brought down with explosives, NOT FIRES! We witnessed three high rise structures disintegrate right before our eyes. In addition, we have the most likely suspects, people with real motives, interfere with evidence and ignored by any persons capable of arrest.

The whole official story defies common sense, has many obvious loopholes and flaws which anyone with a little bit of skepticism can find right away as they research into this event which shook the entire world. It was also extremely insulting to me personally to find that the official explanation about the attack on Pentagon - Intense heat from Jet Fuel vaporized the entire plane. It is physically and scientifically impossible to 'vaporize' any critical component of an aircraft with jet fuel. There have numerous disastrous and more serious accidents in aviation history and none so far have ever vaporized an aircraft or it's components/structures. This is one of the most striking examples of the contrived farce aka the 9/11 official report which most definitely says that the report has been manipulated to keep from knowing the truth.

I hope we could get to the bottom of this but I don't believe the truth is going to be accepted by the Government, it will remain as another cover-up in the History of United States. I'm going to start this statement with my opinion. 9/11 is a joke, it's an insult to all those who were killed, are being killed (war on terror) and it's also evil to send troops out to Afghanistan without them knowing why they're going. Long time Florida resident from the U.P. Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I have many good friends from New York. None of my technical education or experience could be used on this petition, except my eyes.. which now SEE something I did not before. I am concerned for the families of all of the people who lost their lives in this terrible tragedy, and want to see justice done.
At the time, I was so disturbed by this event, I could not keep away from it. After a few years, I started to drift away from the constant thought of what happened. Then while looking for a movie one night, I saw a documentary listed on the 911 tragedy. I watched it, then I found another, then another, and another...I watched them all....I actually had never REALLY thought about it. I couldn't believe it, this was a cover-up! It is SO obvious. It reminded me of the implosion of some of the old hotels in Las Vegas. So perfect, so controlled.

I'm a film and TV graduate from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I was 17 when 9/11 happened and truly the most terrifying day(s) of my life and will never forget! I work with special fx dept. in the film industry and seem some crazy stuff! From what I've seen from the footage it looks as rigged as a film shoot.
Its obvious, just look!!! There were charges going off on lower floors before the building even collapsed. Fire doesn't go down it goes up. How could jet fuel flow 1000 feet down to the lobby? How about the janitor in the sub level 1 before a plane even hit the building he was hearing and feeling bombs going off, his co worker shows skin was peeling off his arms because of a blast in the basement.... A million questions and no answers?

If you see the scientific evidence, coupled with the (too many) irregularities that day, it is hard to believe the official story. It just does not add up. The Towers just can not fall in freefall speed, and a symmetrical collapse was the smoking gun. Together with the other evidence and excluding alternative explanations, one can only reach the conclusion that the official story is incorrect. It opens our eyes to a world that is dominated by corporate media and lets us reconsider our worldview and the role of the US in it.

From what I see of the Towers collapsing, I don't believe airline jetliners caused them to collapse that way and I also have to wonder why this is not addressed

As I watched the first collapse, with my father on the phone, the first thing I said to him was, that would never happen, the buildings were designed for just such an incident. He replied, well, why wouldn't they fall down? Your movement is the answer, and though it has been eleven years, I think he may be starting to agree. Thank you.

I agree that this looks like a controlled demolition, and that thermite might have been used. Even though I am not licensed as a professional engineer, I have enough knowledge and understanding about the physics behind the evidence to strongly question the official story.

I am simply an American looking for answers. I think like many others this is just another example, of the US government doing as they wish. As citizens I feel we have been lulled into contentment, or concern only with the things that effect us directly. The government needs to remember they are all civil servants and as such they answer to the American public.
In my opinion, a very obvious demolition. Now I have discovered there is chemical evidence of thermite in all of the debris. No evidence of a jetliner left at the Pentagon site and they refuse to release any of the footage from three cameras that where pointed right at it. Lets clear this up since there is nothing to hide.

I am a general manager for a convenience store in Lansing, MI. I have no degrees but that doesn't make me stupid or incompetent to seeing the lies that were told on 9/11. I have been doing independent research on 9/11 for the last year and there is no doubt in my mind that something is being covered up. Like I said, I have no degrees but if there is anything I can do to help the cause please let me know.
I've watched all the scientist's research and have spent countless hours putting pieces together. It means more to me than people think to find the truth because I love God and this country and I feel it is my duty having been blessed to be born in the USA to help this cause in any way that I can.
