On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I support the work of Dr. Steven Jones. He has provided a scientific foundation for the collapse of the three World Trade Center (WTC) towers. I read the FEMA September 2002 report, prepared by the American Society of Civil Engineers, and initially accepted their theory of the collapse of WTC 1 and 2. As more information became available on the web, I was motivated to research the subject in a more rigorous manner. I have carefully studied the Jones 2006 paper, 'Why Indeed Did the WTC Buildings Completely Collapse?' and concluded that it is a rational step-by-step study that met the acceptable standards for scientific building research. His critical reviews of the FEMA, NIST, and 9/11 Commission reports are correct. I have signed his petition calling for the release of all U.S. Government-held information regarding the events of 9/11/2001. Richard Gage and Steven Jones's call for a serious investigation of the hypothesis that the WTC 7 and the Twin Towers were brought down, not just by impact damage and fire, but through the use of pre-positioned cutter-charges, must be a rallying cry for all building design experts to speak out. They are following in the footsteps of Dr. Linus Pauling of the California Institute of Technology, who rallied his fellow scientists to oppose the development of the Hydrogen Bomb and the testing of nuclear weapons. He was later awarded the 1962 Nobel Peace Prize for these efforts.

I'm just a small town architect involved primarily in the design of wood frame residential structures with nearly fifty years of experience in architecture, thirty-two as a registered architect with the last twenty-eight in a private practice I share with my partner. Because of my years of experience I was granted permission to take the professional exam on the condition I passed all of the required pre-qualifying exams, of which there were five if I recall correctly. I did so in 1980 and passed the architectural licensing exam in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1981. I have no experience with high rise structures but I do believe that logic trumps the nonsense written between the front and back covers of The 9/11 Commission Report. In my view the report is more fiction than fact.
The manner in which the towers fell could only have been through controlled demolition. I've witnessed enough of them through videos and even in person to know this. Initially I presumed the attack, blamed on radical Muslims, was blowback for the horrific foreign policy of the US government. My belief that the attack was blowback has not diminished in the light of new evidence which suggests factions in the US government had prior knowledge of the attacks and not only did nothing to prevent them but complemented them to stage the catastrophe that would ensure the nation's sympathy for a Middle east confrontation. I stand by my belief today that the correct response to this criminal act would have been to find and prosecute the culprits, foreign and domestic, responsible for those acts of terrorism. The actual path chosen only reinforces my belief that the US government played a significant role.

Not only are the twin tower collapses in question, but the plane crash into the Pentagon needs further review. It seems unrealistic that more debris was not found on the site. Same goes for the PA plane crash in the middle of a field. Further investigation is needed in all 4 plane crashes. It smells like a cover up.

In my opinion, what happened at the WTC on 11 Sep 2001 cannot be the result of 2 planes slamming into the towers and 3 towers collapsing. If that version of the events, as described by the 9/11 Commission is true, then as engineers, we must immediately put an end to our activities, and proceed to bring down all the buildings in the world, as they are wholly unsafe. Furthermore, that is also an indictment on the education we received in applied physics.

I've also studied studied politics and history, and as a member of the US military I have serious reservations regarding the official reported causes of 9/11. Even if the attacks were totally unexpected, and there was no civil defense plan for such events (like NY airbases or ground-to-air missiles), and there were no CIA or other black operations involved, we should still ask some questions: How did the towers collapse straight down as though planned to minimize damage to surrounding buildings? Why was the debris removed so expediently? Was it embarrassment? Quick cleanup to save our suffering the images of burning towers? Was it too expensive to renovate the buildings later? To avoid controversy and investigation they were removed from view asap, but by whom? FEMA? The building owners? There are many unanswered questions, from the Bush - bin Laden connection, to the FEMA - tower connection. Even if one structure failed from the attacks, the chances that all three buildings would pancake seems like nonsense. Perhaps one could pancake for multiple stories, but at a point the consistent fall would become lopsided due to the probability of resistance from numerous structural members, and develop a natural tilt. This tilt would produce torque, or rotational movement about points, and the laws of physics would tend to bring the forces down in faster ways to the sides, rather than through the entire strength of the remaining body of the building firmly rooted by numerous supports, including a central concrete elevator and stair core, and on a solid foundation.

I do not have any formal training in architecture, or anything of that nature. i am though an educated, well read American who seeks to know the truth of what really happened on that fateful day. Once I found all of this information that was out there, questioning the validity of what our government told us; it led me to keep digging into as much information about what the truth may be.

When you take that into consideration, with all of the other missing pieces to the Pentagon; such as no plane left to identify, no bodies found and of course no videos to show an airline jet actually hit the Pentagon; it is then obvious that we are not being told the truth. The truth is out there and we as Americans in a free country need to demand the truth, especially for all of those innocent people who lost their lives that day and for the families that were left behind.

9/11 has contributed to a military industrial complex as warned by Roosevelt. Our civil liberties have been taken away. Since 9/11 the house has passed bills, that declare the united states a war zone, meaning that under the patriot act, United states citizens can be executed, torchered , imprisoned, or held indefinatly without due trial. Empirical evidence provided by a colaborative group of international scientists find that a nano-inciderary compound called thermate, noting that it was evident at the 9/11 site. eye witness accounts claim hearing explosions, why were there fragments of body parts and bone found on the top of buildings, why was the fire after the disaster still burning two months after the event, the evidence proves, explosives were used. why are there 10,000 engineers that want to re open the investigation, why was the metal from building 7 sent to China 2 weeks after investigation. iron can not melt from jet fuel in an arid environmental, so why was there melted iron found on the site. The Federal governments investigation dose not look for explosive evidence because they said it was inprobable, but from an engineering and scientific standpiont it is the only probable cause of the mass distruciton of the towers, including builiding 7.

Even if the jet fuel had been some kind of instant-acting acid, how many gallons were there on the plane? How fast could any such liquid have traveled, and therefore how much of the building could it have consumed? How long would it have taken to reach the ground, eating through each floor?

There is no way that 2 planes led to the collapse of WTC 1, 2 & 7 due to office fires. Jet fuel is mostly made up of kerosene and in maximum temperature reaches about 1800 F. The melting point of typical structural steel is around 2750 F. How does that make any scientific sense? But what could reach those temperatures is Thermite, which has a maximum temperature of no more than 4550 F. There is SO MUCH evidence that I can literally go on for hours. Why the City decided to remove all of the evidence to ship it overseas to China before a real investigation could occur? Why were there dozens, if not hundreds, of eye-witness reports seeing molten steel and yet NONE of those accounts were even mentioned in the 9/11 Commission report, let alone Building 7? Why has NIST refused to look for explosives even though according to the FDNY Code, as of 2001, that if there was steel and concrete melted and molded together, then you should check for explosives?

When examined, the 'official' explanation does not hold up as plausible. There is obviously much more than 'fire' and 'aircraft' that caused these buildings to collapse into their own footprint. There is an historical and political motivation as well. It is true that evidence is physical, but it is not difficult to read the minds of the perpetrators. There is a wide variety of political and geopolitical reasons for the false flag. World War Three started on 9/11/01. Barry Jennings witnessed explosions on WTC7 before twin towers fell, this is evidence that WTC7 had explosives in it, waiting to be demolished, but the plane didn't hit the building. WTC7 gives enough evidence of the controlled demolition.

I don't know what happened, but I feel what we've all been told doesn't add up somehow. It amazed me that such huge, solidly constructed buildings fell so quickly. I have researched years ago, and heard that the sounds of bombs, and or firecrackers exploding before the plane hit were heard. It feels fishy to me.

Right after 9/11 there was many months of delay to retaliate against a terrorist attack. Then the shock and awe? Way too long a time period. That was an act of war and should have been treated as such but with time the Middle East had plenty of time to hide whatever (weapons of mass destruction). This was a huge flag for me. Right after Bill Clinton came in is when I started to see things in a new light. I could go on and on but this sheds light on how common people are seeing things.

My very first thought was - it looks like a demolition, falling neatly and straight down. I didn't even believe planes really hit it until people started saying it over and over. But I've never forgotten my first 'gut feeling' from what I saw with my own eyes. Looked like any other demolition.

I have been designing and building homes and other buildings for 30 years. My experience ranges from building timber framed homes and barns to designing manufacturing facilities and high-end resorts. I understand construction techniques, general engineering principles, and the structural/material integrity of buildings. I am not licensed but have worked for several architectural firms and design/builders, and currently work for myself.
Having put many buildings together as well as taken many apart, I never have believed the official explanation for the collapse of the Twin Towers and Building 7. The precedents do not exist which would explain the structural failures of all three buildings. The so-called science of the official story is an insult to my intelligence and extralogical to my experience.

I was not aware of the Building #7's collapse until I viewed the video produced by AE911truth.org. It is one of the most disturbing events that has ever occurred to our country; it must be resolved. I am completely baffled by the total lack of interest by the political and media interests in our country. It is hard for me to even take any of them seriously on any issues they try to discuss.

Living on Sussex Street in Jersey City at the time, it felt like a personal attack. The Towers seemed like they were in our backyard. Sussex Street was the triage site for people escaping the mess of lower Manhattan that day. Anyhow, I volunteered at the site as an 'iron worker' on the bucket brigade for a few days. Every so often - maybe once every hour or two - the fire chief would make an announcement that one of the nearby buildings 'might be' or 'is' coming down. Everyone ran off the rubble to relative safety. It was dark, smokey and chaotic. At the time I assumed someone was physically observing the buildings for signs of trouble, but false reports of 'pulling' it better explain it. Someone must be in the know. Maybe one day your organization will have enough members to anti up enough money to bribe someone to produce evidence.

There needs to be a comprehensive, independent and unbiased investigation of all the information that has been collected.

Common sense is key to understanding there is more to the official story. Also, where is the video evidence showing what really happened at the Pentagon??? I believe there should be a law in this country preventing anyone or any corporation from profiting from acts of war.
