To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

While watching the towers come down on the news on 9-11-01 on the television news, I was surprised that they did not fall asymmetrically to one side because, in my experience, symmetry is rare. Then, as I saw the recap television footage replaying the jets crashing into the buildings over and over while explaining that the heat from the fires caused the buildings to fall apart, I wondered again how the buildings could crumble straight down since the jets hit them off-center and since the buildings appeared to be built in a nearly symmetrical section, and yet be so tall. It was not until a friend approached me over a year later with doubts about the official story that I thought anybody else had the same doubts concerning the physics of the building failures, and why there was not a very thorough and public ongoing investigation.

Any individual with a minimal amount of mechanical and scientific aptitude along with very basic logical reasoning abilities can clearly see that the official 9/11 commission report's explanation for the collapse of building #7 is an outright blatant lie. The 9/11 commission report mentioned that building #7 collapsed due solely to office fires. How does an office fire make the core columns at the building's center disintegrate so that the penthouse on top of the building drops a slight second before the rest of the building, which then goes down at close to free fall speed? How can the combustible materials in an office fire have enough heat to keep tons of steel in it's molten state for many weeks after the building collapses? How did both Jane Stanley from the BBC and Aaron Brown of CNN know that building #7 had collapsed when we can see it standing right behind them as they give their report? We must perform publicly and with peer review an extensive analysis of the WTC collapse. The official explanation stops at the onset of collapse. To even explain the start of the collapse without explosives requires some far fetched ideas. There are lots of energy analyses to do that I have not seen done. How can multi-ton steel beams be ejected with enough force to embed themselves in buildings far away? What explains the symetry of the collapse? Uncontrolled phenomenon are seldom symetrical.

To set this up requires days, months, perhaps years to prepare for, to set the explosives and so forth. This was a controlled demolition. Airplanes couldn't have taken these buildings down. You expect me to believe that at 5:20 PM long after the two towers came down in the morning of that same day by controlled demolition that another building (7) came down by the same method? There is no way by the laws of physics that it occurred the way we have been told. The truth about this issue has been totally ignored and has barely even gotten out. Following the Terrorists Attacks on September 11th, 2001 I didn't question the World Trade Center Collapse story. Then on March 16th, 2002 (I believe that was the date), I heard on the radio, that the Pentagon had released a video, on the internet, showing the hijacked airliner being flown into the Pentagon building. As I recall, that video was supposed to put an end to questions that something other than the hijacked airliner had crashed into The Pentagon. After watching the video (apparently taken by a camera in the parking lot of the Pentagon) I thought surely there were better videos and photographs than what I had just seen.

The Pentagon is the single most secure building in the world. Zero video footage of an actual PLANE approaching and hitting it but there is a short clip, albeit with the wrong date on it. Zero fighter jets sent to intercept a plane approaching Washington even after 2 buildings had been attacked. No black boxes from 4 aircraft. Building falling at free fall speed. WTC 7? It's impossible for me to believe Building 7 fell the way it did without help from human hands. There was no smoke as you normally see in the case of a fire strong enough to bring down a building; and, the symmetrical collapse of the building in under 10 seconds resembles a controlled demolition too closely for me to ignore the similarity.
