To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have worked as a consulting engineer, marine engineer, mechanical contractor, waste-water plant operator and building maintenance engineer. I was working for a consulting engineer (Lizardos Engineering, Albertson, NY) at the time of the first bombing of the Towers in 1993. Two of our engineers were in the building at the time of the bombing. They returned to the office unharmed but certainly shaken up and covering in soot. I don't really think anyone needs to be an engineer or physicist to look at the footage and evidence from 9/11 and come up with many questions.The manner in which all three towers fell is not remotely consistent with the official explanation. The official explanation, in fact, is not even remotely consistent with the laws of physics!

I am a US Army veteran, FAA licensed airframe and power plant mechanic, and a licensed Texas professional engineer. I graduated Dartmouth College and Thayer School of Engineering. I was shocked by 9/11. As an optimist I gave the official story the benefit of the doubt. I am not a believer in conspiracies but your documentary gave me pause. If there is a hint of impropriety in the official story, then it is likely to only be the tip of the iceberg. I hope to god it is wrong, but in my profession, hope doesn't cut it. I need to see evidence that makes sense. The NIST backtracking and weak arguments don't reassure me; as an engineer, I understand the issues raised. Also, in my industry, an objective third party review is always used. I would expect the same from our government.

Any individual with a minimal amount of mechanical and scientific aptitude along with very basic logical reasoning abilities can clearly see that the official 9/11 commission report's explanation for the collapse of building #7 is an outright blatant lie. The 9/11 commission report mentioned that building #7 collapsed due solely to office fires. How does an office fire make the core columns at the building's center disintegrate so that the penthouse on top of the building drops a slight second before the rest of the building, which then goes down at close to free fall speed? How can the combustible materials in an office fire have enough heat to keep tons of steel in it's molten state for many weeks after the building collapses? How did both Jane Stanley from the BBC and Aaron Brown of CNN know that building #7 had collapsed when we can see it standing right behind them as they give their report? I graduated from college and passed my Mass. state E.I.T exam in 1991. Upon graduation, I began working for a local engineering firm doing HVAC design for commercial buildings. I then moved on to performing structural analysis/ design for the same firm, and finally ended up as a manager in charge of demolition projects for a Natural Gas equipment company, where I worked for 8 years. I have since moved on to being self-employed in an unrelated field.
The buildings that fell on 9-11-01 appeared to me, to fall at near FREE FALL speed. Without performing any experiments or calculations, and just relying on pure, old fashioned common sense, this is not possible in a steel building .... even one that had the structure weakened by fire. If the Pancake theory is correct, it stands to reason the resistance that the falling mass would encounter as each floor collapsed, would slow down the fall, at least intermittently. I simply DO NOT believe the official report and would like to see a new independent investigation.

WTC 1 and WTC 2 came down in approxmimately 9 seconds. This is free fall speed! It is impossible that a 110 story skyscraper fall in free fall speed to the ground (in his own foot prints!) without using explosives devices! Televised images of the attacks on the World Trade Center suggest that explosives devices caused the collapse of both towers! Prof. Steven Jones found Thermit (Thermat) at Ground Zero! This also suggests (or even proves) that the colapse of WTC 1, 2 AND 7 was a controlled demolition! WTC 7 was not hit by an airplane! And this building came also down in free fall speed!

I am in the Army and remember being in the dining facility on Fort Stewart, GA and remember seeing only one building hit by a plane. By the time I got to work another plane struck the second Tower, but I remember hearing that the buildings would be able to withstand such an impact. Shortly thereafter the Towers came crumbling down. My life as a soldier was never the same again.

The outcome of the the 9/11 commission is by no means conclusive. Americans aren't stupid but a nationalist zeal can lead any population to bury its head in the sand rather than face uncomfortable truths. Surely so many accredited engineers and architects reaching the same kind of conclusion with just the circumstantial evidence is reason enough to hold an independent investigation.

In my youth, I studied architecture for eight years. I am now a builder of residential room additions, and do volunteer work for local enities in my field of expertise.
In my expert analysis, it is chemically, physically, and structurally impossible for the twin towers and building seven to be completely destroyed by fire alone. Jet fuel burns at 575 degrees and office furniture burns at 550 degrees. How can high strength steel which has been certified to stand up to heat from 2000 degrees to 3000 degrees for two hours mandated by building codes, fail in an hour?? It can't. I deal with building codes every day. If steel that could have failed that easily was used, it would never have passed any codes inspections. Does the government think we are stupid?? Anyone who knew about this before it happened and were in anyway connected with it are guilty of mass murder and crimes against humanity.

Through many hundreds of hours of watching videos on youtube, feel extremely compelled that: -Somehow thermite was used to bring the towers down in a controlled demolition. -this the Pearl Harbor like event that the Project for a New American Century neocons needed to push us into the Middle East -the war in Afghanistan is to secure an oil pipeline to the Caspian Sea -the war in Iraq was for control of the oil, and to establish another base in the Middle East why- -are there so many witness reports of secondary explosions? -have I seen thermal satellite photos of large heated areas under all 3 Towers that went on for a long time after the collapse? -did WTC7 go down when it wasn't hit by a plane (and have a pool of molten metal underneath it?) -did you not want us to know about Able Danger? -did you allow the president and vice president to testify in secret, and not under oath?

I'm not an architect or an engineer, nor do I possess a higher learning degree of any kind. However, I believe that with the evidence provided by ae911truth.org, compared with the official story from the media, the NIST report, and the 9/11 Commissioned Report, one can competently play the part of juror in this case.
Based on the evidence provided by ae911truth.org, coupled with my personal, albeit uneducated perspective, it is my opinion that the three buildings that collapsed on September 11, 2001 were the result of planned demolitions and not exclusively to the plane crashes or the structural fires that ensued.

I don't have any technical education or experience. I'm just a normal person who doesn't believe what the news or official reports say is true of that day. I would like to know what really happened.
All three buildings fell perfectly into themselves. I have no experience in explosives or no knowledge of how hot metal has to be for a building to collapse, but in my eyes it didn't look right. I saw what looked like explosions coming from many different floors in many different videos before the buildings collapsed. I also watched a video from the people who built the WTC that said the material used to build the WTC was heat resistant and it shouldn't have melted or collapsed. I just don't believe the official story and I would like to know the real truth about what happened and how so many people died that day.
