On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I defer to the experts in the field. However, I do have a solid theoretical background in the fundamentals of engineering, physics and chemistry. My relevant education includes basic undergraduate courses in physics, chemistry, thermodynamics, materials science, psychology and neuropsychology. I have understanding and respect for the scientific method: the method of following the evidence wherever it may lead without prejudice or bias, to arrive at scientifically-derived conclusions, no matter how unpopular or politically incorrect they may or may not be. Science influenced by politics is not pure science; it is pseudo-science. Pure science MUST be apolitical, meaning independent of political influence at every stage. This is always a challenge for professionals, but an ideal worth striving for, both for the integrity of the discipline of science, and for the service of science to humanity.
I first learned of the twin tower collapses on one of the major TV news networks. My personal experience was one of surrealism. It felt more like a dream than reality. Immediately, the names that came to mind were Bin Laden, and Al Quada, and some time later I realized that I had been psychologically primed by the media with this information. I originally believed the story told by the mainstream media and government officials that very hot jet fuel fires caused the steel to melt and collapse. But I think subconsciously I had some reservations that the buildings could collapse at free-fall acceleration, and fall so neatly into their own footprints. I had seen demolition videos before, and the similarity was not lost on me. Many years went by and I began to see inside job bumper stickers, and internet images and stories, the first of which was the BBC story claiming that the Soloman Brothers Building (WTC 7) had collapsed even though it was allegedly visible in the background. After posting this on Facebook as a curiosity, I was contacted by a friend who had been following 9/11 truth for some time. I began my own informal research effort studying internet materials, tempered by my understanding of scientific phenomena and engineering principles. The more I researched, the more it became clear that the official story was not believable, and much of the 9/11 truth information was very plausible and realistically a much more likely explanation of events. There is much evidence to consider: eyewitness accounts of explosions, large volumes of molten metal observed streaming from at least one building both before and after its collapse, large quantities of residual heat, discovery of steel microspheres, discovery of unreacted thermite, the physics of free fall requiring zero vertical support and thus requiring ALL steel support columns to be severed simultaneously, no history of modern steel building collapses due to fire, WTC 1, 2 & 7 all collapsing in a similar manner despite differences in building structure and in structural damage, black smoke indicating a lack of oxygen and a relatively cool fire apparently not hot enough to melt steel in the volumes observed, the buildings being designed to withstand airplane impact of 10% higher kinetic energy, evidence that the government ignored warnings, and so much more... I believe the evidence supporting the case for controlled demolition is overwhelming. There are also compelling means, motive and opportunity for nefarious elements in government to carry out such an attack. At least one experimenter with videos on youtube has shown that a thermite charge placed on a steel bolt is an effective and efficient means of destruction, and offers a plausible explanation of events, and is consistent with the WTC evidence.

Building 7 is the main reason for me. This building did not have to come down, because it was not hit. In my opinion it came down because of human interference (demolition). Example: In Scandinavia we have had 2 large ship disasters. The first was Scandinavian Star in 1990, where a fire at sea killed almost 160 people (today we know it was because of insurance fraud). The second was Estonia in 1994. The public was told the front of the ship was lost in bad sea. 852 people died. Today divers have discovered a 4m long horizontal gap on the side of the ship wreck, showing that the ship was hit underwater or something. A new investigation is on its way, also it will be shown in national TV, but the reason for this to happen, is because relatives to the 852 people have raised the money for this. Maybe this could be a way concerning 9/11 and Building 7? The truth will always come forward, no matter what.

Also, there is not enough heat produced by burning jet fuel to cause any kind of steel failure. Some sag maybe but that would be the extent of it. No building collapses into it's own footprint without demolition.

I have experience operating a 180 ton electric arc furnace melting steel and for the past 10 years working at an oil refinery. So I know what the temperature of steel must be to melt and the temperature at which fuel burns.
It's my opinion that right after those planes hit each tower the jet fuel burnt off (large ball of fire). It's impossible for jet fuel when burning to reach the temperature needed to melt steel. Why was their molten metal days and weeks after this event ? Buildings only free fall into their self's under CONTROLLED conditions. We can go to the bottom of the ocean and find the black boxes and piece a plane together, but they couldn't find one black box from the 9/11 event (PLEASE). What about building #7 no plane hit it...

I can't believe anyone would believe this story. 'Are they giving the same reason for both towers collapsing? I mean come on. The first tower hit might, and I don't really believe it, but might be able to collapse this way. But the second tower hit, the first to fall, probably had little damage to the central core. Hell most of the fuel from that aircraft seemed to fly out the side of the building based upon that incredible fireball. The second plane only caught the corner of the outer wall. I doubt there was any real damage done to most of the core. Certainly not enough to, in any way, conform to that story of pancaking floors.' Marty agreed, 'Exactly. Now you understand the problem.'

It was obvious to me from the very beginning that the official story blaming terrorists & airplanes was total BS. Steel supports don't snap like like twigs when hit by an aluminum airplane and then totally vaporize. (have seen the photos of steel beams cut at 45' angle) Building seven wasn't hit but fell at free fall speed into it's own foot print. People don't even know about that. No knows about the Clinton crime evidence destroyed in that building. No one mentions the gold stolen. No talks about the trillions of dollars that went 'missing'. The fact that the debris was trucked out of the city in the middle of the night without any forensic investigation and subsequently destroyed. So much for investigating the crime scene. Clearly all three collapses are some kind of explosive type controlled demolitions. What also should be addressed is the 500x normal levels if tritium oxide tested at ground zero after the destruction as tritium oxide is a radioactive isotope of hydrogen only formed in nuclear reactions. Why it took until December 17th to get the fires completely extinguished. How the bedrock holding back the Hudson River was damaged. Also how it's possible that the north tower collapse dust was so energetic as it rolled down the streets like pyroclastic flow and ultimately why it was labelled ground zero when you actually look at what the definition of ground zero meant before the 9-11 attacks

I think the whole alledged scenario of what happened on 9/11-2001 raises a lot of serious questions that hasn't been answered. And over the years a lot of 'debunking distortion' has been drummed up by for instance Popular Mechanics. Popular Mechanics debunking theories was used as the official source to back up the ''true' story on 9/11 in a national broadcasted tv programme on Danish national television. That was schocking to watch, let alone discussing the programme afterwards with friends who based their newgained 9/11 knowledge on the Popular Mechanics debunking theories. Therefore what really happened needs to see the light of day in a new independant investigation.

I obtained my bachelor in Biological Sciences taken at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto (Portugal) in 2008. In 2010 I got my MSC in Molecular Genetics from the University of Braga (Portugal). At present, I'm undergoing a PhD program in the Netherlands that involves the study of cardiac dysfunction and heart failure disease.
For the last 10 years I've been trained to develop and open my scientific mind, to judge and review all evidence related to scientific research. I therefore cannot agree with the official 9/11 statement that airplanes brought down 3 skyscrapers. If I would just accept for 1 millisecond that those skyscrapers came down at free-fall acceleration, with no resistance whatsoever, I should be then as well state that Sir Isaac Newton and Galileo were both wrong. But fortunately to me and to every human being on the planet, Science is mankind's greatest gift and to that I owe everything I got to support it. Let Science do its work.

I was living in California during 9/11... and had flown from Toronto, Canada to San Francisco through Chicago, on September 10th... I watched the towers collapse on television and the first thing out of my mouth was that looked like a controlled demolition!!. Then, later when Tower 7 was shown on the news as it was collasping, it was again obvious that it was a controlled demolition... the building wasn't even hit by the aircraft!! Common sense will prevail and The Truth will be revealed!!
