PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Physics, engineering, architecture, and design code have never before, nor will they ever in the future, facilitate such uniform destruction without the benefit of controlled demolition. The general public is easily convinced that building failure can happen as witnessed; however, educated, trained, and experienced professionals know better.

From the elements presented so far, I understand the 2 main hypothesis are: 1) WTC towers' structure's damage by the initial impact, followed by softening of this steel and concrete structure from fire exposure, until the upper building weight crashed the lower weakened structure. Since no other case is known of such equivalent buildings being destroyed by fire, then this explanation only holds if the initial damage was large enough. Are you aware of any evaluation of the energy dissipated by the initial impact, and simulations or computations of how much damage it could have caused? 2) Controlled destruction by coordinated explosions all along the fall path. Although most of what is left of the towers have disappeared, explosives traces are no doubt to be found in what remains.

I never questioned the official explanation of events of 9-11 until the winter of 2006 when I saw a brief video on youtube of WTC 7 collapsing. At the time I never even knew there was a 3rd building collapse. Even though it's difficult not think of the political implications, I try to focus purely on the physics and science of the WTC 1, 2 and 7 collapses. After reviewing the videos and witness testimony of the building collapses I have very little doubt that all three buildings were brought down in a controlled manner.

After watching a PBS video I am convinced that the Twin Towers and WTC #7 were packed with internal explosives that led to their implosion. I think an independent investigation needs to be conducted based on scientific facts and eye witness accounts of why these buildings fell and so quickly. Admittedly I have no experience that could constructively back any of the reports/evidence given on the videos etc, but I don't believe you need to be an expert in any sort of science or other profession to see there is something very heinous about the WTC disaster. I cannot reconcile the laws of physics that an organic event, such as the fires started by the impact of the planes, with the symmetrical collapse of the three buildings. I'm not religious, I'm not proud to be an American. I grew up in a country being fed lies and deceptions. I know this because I'm a seeker of truths and sciences. I spend my time on my computer, like anyone else, learning about what I find interesting; that being, nerdy sciences, etc. I'm a 'where's the proof?' kind of person. The proof I see, more and more each day, makes me sick. That this country is so destructive toward it's own people. Whether it's news, companies/businesses, the (sad excuse of a) government, the food industry, etc.. I'm fed up.
I watched and heard the news while I was at high school, in SE California, and the more I saw/heard/read, the more I knew something wasn't right. Why? How? That's not possible? - I knew then, a 9th grader, that a plane (alone) couldn't take down an iron structure like that the way it did. I excelled at math and science through most of my life, and common sense is all that's needed to know there's something wrong with the stories we were being fed. Sure, terrorists may have had something to do with the airplanes, but what can be said of the rest of the damage? If it was covered up so well, it's safe to say our government or a well financed organization had something to do with it. The government would've had no reason to cover up a foreign terrorist attack. There is absolutely NO excuse for not investigating every aspect of the situation, NONE. Be it religion or your own belief system, you do what needs to be done for justice. For the truth!

The evidence points to more than the official report reveals. The official account cannot be true as a result and it is ridiculous that our country would not want to explore this evidence, however this also points to some sort of cover-up as well.
