To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Tom Breidenbach is a poet, writer and adjunct university professor who is working on a book based on his research on 9/11. He is also a witness to a number of the events of that day, including the collapse of the North Tower as well as WTC Building Seven. From his fifth-floor walk-up East Village apartment he also heard the first plane fly over Manhattan and smash into the North Tower.
I witnessed WTC Building Seven fall on the afternoon of 9/11. Everyone in the vicinity I was in (about seven blocks north of the WTC, on the west side of the West Side Highway, just across from temporary police headquarters at Borough of Manhattan Community College) knew that the building was going to fall for perhaps twenty minutes before it did. We'd heard and passed on the rumor that they're going to bring it down and were staring expectantly at the building when it crumbled so perfectly into itself.

I have a professional career that has spanned many industries. I was an intern at American Airlines at the time of 9/11. I was a flight operations avionics engineer working at the maintenance operations center which oversaw all the planes that were in service. I worked as a field engineer in the west Texas oil fields after college. I transitioned into working on power distribution for the local utility in Chicago. Then I got into the nuclear power industry as a controls engineer. My next stop was working at an architecture/engineering firm in the building automation space. I have been inside the guts of many facilities and worked alongside plenty of architects and other engineers. I have since moved on to the operations side where I work for a RE services company that performs facility management. I have a BS in Electrical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, with a minor in Philosophy. I have an MS in Engineering Management from Northwestern University. I am a licensed PE in Illinois.
My interest in this is not to find out about some conspiracy regarding some powerful entity that wronged so many people, but I am more concerned about the industry not learning anything from such a tragedy. We had three catastrophic engineering failures occur in less then 12hrs and I imagine that little has changed in the building code or the principles with which we design these structures. If a trauma and fire took down both towers so quickly, what failed? It sounds like we do not have a good answer that we can improve future buildings with.

I have a high school education and I'm a hairdresser. I'm a social and political activist and have been for many years. My experience is that I'm a very informed citizen, and I know my government's history of false flag operations, and I've been saying since this happened that if nothing else, Building 7 was not hit by a plane and should never have collapsed. You don't need to be an engineer to see this.
I don't know exactly who was involved but a real investigation needs to take place. We may never know who participated, but an investigation still needs to be conducted. We owe it to not only the people in the towers that were killed, but the families and all the innocent Afghans and Iraqis that have been murdered in our drummed up retaliation to this crime.

My gut reaction was that they shouldn't have collapsed at all.Then when WTC7 imploded I knew something was terribly wrong with the official narrative that was already beginning to be developed and shown on the TV.I am deeply saddened and appalled that the absurd myth of the 19 hijackers has been given such unquestioned credibility by the mainstream press and even progressive leaning alternative media. It was the defining moment of the century so far for the U. S. and the rest of the globe and it is the mother of all lies! Hitler would have been very impressed.

I didn't know anything about the Twin Towers; what they were, where they were, their significance, etc. As the story unfolded to as what supposedly happened, I felt as if the story was fabricated from the beginning. As I grew older, I grew wiser and began to open my eyes to what was really happening in the world. Continued to research the 9/11 event and started wondering if there was anything that could be done even with all the hardcore evidence proving the government's stories are false.
