On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Ever since I first saw the failure, I felt something was wrong. The pancaking of the slabs as they fell struck me as the kind of failure one might see in a concrete structure building with the columns acting as shear punches at each respective failure. I was amazed when I was informed it was a steel building. Since then, I have learned of the mode of failure of WTC 7 and the temperature of burning jet fuel vs. resistance of steel to such temperatures. Something is just not right.

The destruction of the WTC seems suspect to me as the towers collapsed into their own footprint vs an asymmetric fall as you'd expect with failure due to fire. The free fall speeds of the twin towers, along with the free fall speed of the un-hit WTC are all suspect. This coupled with the findings of iron spheres and thermite raise concern of use of demolition charges that contain these compounds.

I have a very good understanding of how buildings are constructed and how they behave under the influence of outside forces. Most buildings are constructed with redundancies so that they don't collapse catastrophically.
It is virtually impossible for WTC building 7 to collapse as it did with the influence of sporadic fires. This collapse HAD to be planned. For the twin towers, it seems odd that both buildings came down the exact same way. Also, someone made a comment the buildings were designed to implode downward. For me more information is needed here because I don't design high rise structures but it would seem odd that engineers would design in a buildings destruction. That's why explosives are used.

I mean, come on, if the trusses and girders had failed, allowing the floors to fall, those central column beams would have been left standing. You'd have these skeletal remains still standing. I can't believe anyone would believe this story. 'Are they giving the same reason for both towers collapsing? I mean come on. The first tower hit might, and I don't really believe it, but might be able to collapse this way. But the second tower hit, the first to fall, probably had little damage to the central core. Hell most of the fuel from that aircraft seemed to fly out the side of the building based upon that incredible fireball. The second plane only caught the corner of the outer wall. I doubt there was any real damage done to most of the core. Certainly not enough to, in any way, conform to that story of pancaking floors.' Marty agreed, 'Exactly. Now you understand the problem.'

I am simply a civilian who has always had doubts of the story presented by media and gov't and the evidence and have been looking into the evidence provided by your group and others of the sort.
Speaking just from general physics I learned in high school it simply doesn't make sense for the buildings to have been completely destroyed in the manner they came down and in the time they came down just from airplanes alone. A side from all the evidence being presented from the WTC, there was never a plane in the Pentagon or in the PA crash site. If the government can pull the wool over our eyes in those instances they could have done it in NY too.

Only about 5% thought WOW show me more. The response from the employees at the store was about the same. It is surprising how the overwhelming majority of people just go along with the main stream media report. I have no technical biography information to offer, except that I really want to see this investigation happen and the truth finally come out about the facts. Not the government version, but a report from actual experts in the associated fields that can prove what actually happened. Just the truth for once!!!
It is obvious, just watching the collapse of all 3 buildings, that these buildings were set up with explosive materials placed at critical parts in these buildings. The 'dust' as each floor began to collapse, the loud explosions heard by firemen and employees in these buildings, the holes in the Twin Towers and Pentagon not conforming to the official explanation that airplanes were the cause, all debris from the Twin Towers being removed quickly from the scene and shipped out of the country, the drivers ID of one of the 'hijackers' just laying there, untouched in the rubble, small scraps of material around the Pentagon (not huge parts of an airplane), the fact that the owner of the TT had just taken out an insurance policy for coverage in case an airplane hit the TT, the unsubstantiated explanations of the NIST report....and on and on. There is ample evidence contradicting the NIST report, witnesses, A/E around the world, etc. that the official explanation given by the government was a cover-up (in my opinion).

I was born in 1965. My father is a Doctor in medicine and my mother doesn't work (fifth child of French Air Force 5-star General, second world world war (pilot).
Who can a tower fall down so perfectly and so fast just because of a fire? How can a plane come 'into' a tower made with metal and concrete? i don't believe in official explanations and really support people who want to know the truth, people are paying politicians salary in order to manage the country, not to work independently.

I believe that 911 is a scam, and I mean there is a vast amount of circumstancial evidence that this was an inside job. From what I've read, I am certain the 3 towers fell as part of a controlled demolition, and not by fire by planes. The towers fell as a typical demolition caused by explosives at the right places at the right time in order to get the towers collapse somewhat controlled to the ground. I know this is the only possible answer to the way the towers collapsed, and that there is absolutely no way the planes could cause the towers to fall in that manner. Besides, no plane hit WTC 7.

I have no background in engineering or architecture but I do know that the WTC 1,2 and 7 where not brought down by fires. I also know the pentagon was not struck by a plane.
It's easy to see that all the damage done on 911 was done by government and not by Muslims. The government's reluctance to do a proper investigation is the telltale sign.

A catastrophe such as this should have been studied and scrutinized to the maximum extent possible. Accounts on 9/11 provided to the public by the general media/government are vague and do not answer evidence-based questions. As both a citizen of the United States of America and a lifelong resident of New York, I find this very troubling.
