To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I'm grateful to AE911 truth for upholding the principles of evidence based science that are consistent with those I encountered during my early undergraduate studies and training. Their questions are my questions and I believe that the institutional ethic is undermined by its implicit endorsement of the destruction of valuable data sets, its dismissal of independent inquiry and its bad faith deployment of institutionalised science to subvert the scientific method. The negligence of a single professional, be they medical, scientific or otherwise can result in a custodial sentence. The negligence of a generation of professionals may result in the loss of faith in evidence-based engineering as a tool for good. As such I feel that AE911Truth better represent me in what I was trained to be 'science' than the institutions do at present. I trust this situation will resolve itself eventually to the benefit of all as it always does, hence my membership.

I could never see how any high-rise structure, especially the WTC, could fall apart and downward so symmetrically without its structural connecting points having been strategically blown out at timed intervals. I was initially stunned and just dumbfounded after seeing them come down in 2001 but had an uneasy feeling about the explanations given for this terrible event. I am glad to see architects and engineers coming together to lend their expertise towards finding a more rational explanation than what was provided.

If well observed in all collapses one can see demolition blasts sequences as the tower come down. Surely they must be thermite charges because they are the only type explosive that could generate the heat for structural steel failure and sequential collapse. Also when one sees the vaporization of human and material remains and the debris pike below glowed at 3000 degrees f with thermite traces, it is obvious it was a black ops operation.

WTC Building 7 fell uniformly as if each level of the building had collapsed in succession, strongly suggesting that explosives were planted in the building. If explosives were planted in WTC 7, then the twin towers could have also been rigged with explosives. The failure of the twin towers appeared to be the result of a more complex explosive sequencing. The official pancake theory of collapse does not legitimately explain why the portion of each tower located above the point of impact of the airliner was not slowed by the mass of the building below.

I have a BSME and 30+ years as a construction and mining engineer designing and working with heavy machinery in open pit mining where explosives are used.
I want more research to explain what happened, at least with WTC 7. The video of its collapse doesn't seem to agree with what we are being told. My experience with structural steel in heavy machinery is that it would more likely yield than fracture and I don't think it would free fall.

It appears as though a massive conspiracy is responsible for at least covering up the true nature of the events of 9/11. Whomever was responsible for the attacks and whomever assisted in the attacks should be brought to justice. It does not appear that there is sufficient evidence to support the agreed upon conclusion. It is my belief that in no way did two airplanes cause the collapse of the WTC Towers or a fire caused the collapse of Tower 7. I've been researching this for years taking into account statements from witnesses, structural engineers, architects, controlled demolition teams who are qualified individuals that can speak intelligently about the structural integrity of these three buildings. There are so many unanswered questions that the U.S government and the Commission Report have simply not addressed and we as U.S tax paying citizens deserve to have answers too! A few unanswered questions are listed below:Why were multiple Saudi people that were identified as the hijackers in the Commission Report found to be alive and well? How can a team of Arabs defeat our multi-billion dollar air defense system with box cutters all while colluding with a bearded man in an Afghan cave? How do both Towers collapse when burning jet fuel doesn't come close to the required heat it would take to melt the support beams in the Towers? Why do images of the plane hitting the building not align with the type of plane the government claimed hit it? How can Tower 7 fall at free fall speed without an explosion at the base as if it was a controlled demolition? How did the BBC report live on TV that Tower 7 collapsed while it was still standing behind the reporter? It was prescripted. These are just a few questions I have along with dozens of others that go unanswered because the Bush administration and Cheney knew very well what they were doing. It was a false flag operation just like the Gulf of Tonkin in Vietnam and used as an excuse to get the U.S. into a war with Iraq over oil control!

Planes clearly did not bring either building down and neither did fire as they claim. In my opinion backed by factual documents, 100% demolition or some kind of explosives were used.
