To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Whoever was responsible for events on 9/11 was in total control of the main stream media as well as US Government leadership in Washington. The WTC7 collapse was actually reported before it happened by the BBC. On 9/11 Newton's Third Law of Motion, which says 'To every action there is always opposed an equal reaction', was violated. There was no opposing and equal reaction in the collisions of the airplanes with WTC 1 & 2. There was no opposing and equal reaction in the collision of the commercial aircraft in Pennsylvania. How many times in the history of flight have aircraft flown directly into the ground and vanished? The 'Official' 9/11 Report makes no mention whatsoever of WTC 7. All three buildings collapsed in a free-fall manner. No pancake type collapse as the Government claims. New investigation must have authority to initiate prosecution of those responsible for events on 9/11, and the investigation must NOT be done by government cronies, present or previous politicians, or anyone with a history of being a war monger.

It doesn't take a very experience engineer to see that the collapse of the WTC towers, in the manner that they did, was simply impossible. Unlike the old days, the baffling collapse was widely recorded. After the initial emotional had had time to calm down, most people should have started to question how something clearly impossible according to Newtonian science and all engineering principles had happened before our eyes. Shockingly, that's not the case. In the short attention span of the modern world, unscrupulous politicians no longer need to answer valid questions with matching intelligence. They can simply wave it off as conspiracy theory, and the case is closed. If a majority of the population is happy with their irresponsible labelling and devious tactic, their story, however incredible and ridiculous, becomes official. This is a heartbreaking and dangerous trend. Is the USA returning to Galileo's time in a massive scale? Most people, including learned ones, supported the Pope's planetary fantasy regardless of objective evidence. In the case of 9/11, it is particularly ironic because unlike 16th century Europe, knowledge and mass communication are at an unprecedented height today. If the ludicrous explanations in the official report stand, there should be other consequences. First, something should be done to all the buildings in the US (and the world?) erected based on similar principle as the WTC towers. Should the building codes be revised accordingly to prevent recurrence? Second, similar collapse has never been observed anywhere else. Are they implying that American structural engineering is the most backward on this planet? Third, in the light of such a fantastic structural failure, is any research work being done in the universities to understand the mechanics of a major phenomena which appears to defy everything Newton taught us? The engineering questions can make a very long list. However, we seem to have entered a new Dark Ages.

I was at the WTC in 2004 during cleanup operations. I was given access to the bottom level of the site and was present when debris from a huge pile was being sifted for remains. I took two large chunks of concrete (one had burn marks on it) and donated it to the Mississippi State University (MSU) library. When I returned to Mississippi, I related my visit to the WTC site to my students in a course I taught entitled Forensic Engineering at MSU.

The way the WTC1 and WTC2 steel-towers collapsed, after burning less than 1 hour, simply cannot be explained by the oxygen starved office fires which were the result of the plane impacts. Especially after the kerosine had all burned off. The buildings disintegrated at almost free-fall speed. The part of the towers below the impact zones, which should have been completely intact and strong, did not provide any resistance in the symmetrical freefall collapse of the buildings. The limited pile of rubble remaining is not consistent with a 450 meter tall towers. The symmetrical nature and freefall speed during the collapse of WTC7 is even more puzzling as no plane ever hit that building.

I was at home painting my house on the day of the event. When the first plane struck I could called an architect friend and got him watching the disaster. After the second plane hit and time passed I mentioned the limit of fireproofing on the steel and reasoned that it may be possible for the tops to lean over. Planes do not fly through steel structures built to house 100 levels of flooring without either slowing down or breaking apart, then come to an abrupt halt once fully inside. On 9/11/2001, when I saw on T.V. that the Twin Towers had been hit I knew then that it was people in our own government that did it. I also knew that it would be used as a reason to get our Country into a war. That was never a question in my mind. It was also clear to me that no plane hit the Pentagon and no plane went down in Shanksville. I had believed that a missile was used in the towers, however I had seen the Maintenance Men in the Towers talk about bombs going off, it was even more clear that this was planned far in advance. The obvious is denied. There can be only one truth and lies are many. That is why we, as humanity, must invest all our mental and material resources to find the one and only historical truth, and redeem the past for the benefit of our future generations. This is not to be constricted to 9/11 only, but we must dig deep into official history and reconstruct it to a truthful history of our civilization. Only then can we admit mistakes and take a lesson to never repeat them again. We owe that with our lives and everything we have to the generations to come. The people involved into worldwide criminal acts must understand the eventual implication behind their names in future historical literature. Ones that have aided them but were not as heavily involved have a chance to become heroes of global history. To be remembered forever. We need to encourage them to speak out and sacrifice their living existence (not literally) for infinite historical one. That may help them turn over to the side of good and to open up to the world.

It is difficult to continue to live in a world in which the '9/11 Commission Report' is treated as indisputable fact. Simply a cursory look at the footage of the WTC buildings falling should raise suspicion towards the official story. I am confident that a jury presented with the evidence would find, beyond a reasonable doubt, that WTC 1, 2, and 7 were brought down with explosives.
