On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have built houses in 3 countries and been part of high rise condo buildings and we in the field know that if a plane hit a condo, it wouldn't fall like that. And these are made out of reinforced concrete, some steel (in comparison) and is built in a developing country (so not as advanced)!!

The way the building collapsed makes no scientific sense. The buildings fell down as if it were pulverized , like what occurs in a controlled demolition. In addition, there were parts of the building that seemed to be falling in the horizontal axis as well as downward, as if they were exploded outward from the building.. Pieces of the building were found very distant from where the buildings stood.

If you don't know about how buildings are demolished, just look at all three buildings' collapse pattern. They collapsed the same way. What a coincidence? As a small child I witnessed the collapse of a non-combustible manufacturing building after the steel structure was subjected to extreme heat from a raging fire for hours. The pile of rubble left by the twisted, melted structure was more than half as tall as when the structure stood when in tact. - - - - I have also witnessed the planned implosion of four or more high-rise buildings. - - - - I believe it is very possible that there was much more to the demise of Towers 1 and 2 than just the impact of jets and the power of the fuel they contained. Reasons for the collapse of Tower 7 has remained to me unsatisfactorily explained in the media coverage for the events of 9-11-01. - - - - I am deeply concerned that scientific calculations, debris material sampling and analysis have not been given a fair platform in which the causes of the three Trade Center building collapses on 9-11-01 would be clarified and given fair media and grounds for understanding and justice.

Once I started my own architectural firm in Seattle in Jan 1991 (over 29 yrs ago), I continued to have work on numerous high rise buildings.
The visual analysis of the collapse of all three WTC buildings does not meet, in my opinion, the nature of a collapse related to non-symmetrical destruction. All three buildings collapsed symmetrically downward with no horizontal deviation even though the damage to the structure was non-symmetrical. A professional architect, engineer or one versed in the physics of building structures would intuitively know that a non-symmetrical failure of one part of a structure would not allow the entire structure to come down vertically, but would tip it to one side much like chopping a tree down. That did not happen in any of these buildings and is suspect.

Having watched and read all of the testimony and evidence posted by Richard Gage over the past decade, I urge the Congress to create an independent commission to fully investigate the collapse of the three World Trade Center buildings, and not to arbitrarily rule out any possible scenario or conspiracy that could have led to the patently false official NIST report. Testimony by the first-responders who observed and heard what they have reported were explosions, melting steel, and chemical traces which are not consistent with the theory that airplanes caused the fires and collapse of WTC I and II; and the full unedited free-fall photographic evidence of the collapse of WTC 7 should be included in their study. If Congress does not agree to this, then a public subscription for an independent analysis by distinguished experts from universities abroad should be undertaken.

After receiving his Bachelor of Architecture Cum Laude from the University of Southern California, Alan worked for a number of private architectural firms in the Los Angeles area before moving to Washington, DC, to serve as a hospital architect for the U.S. Public Health Service. He went on to get his Masters Degree in Architecture at UC Berkeley before settling permanently in Pennsylvania to pursue a career in building product research with Armstrong World Industries. - - Alan joined Armstrong in 1969 where he was initially involved with new product development for modular housing, passive solar energy, and furniture systems. He also developed an AIA-approved resilient flooring continuing education seminar program for Armstrong commercial field and distributor representatives to use with architects and interior designers. - - - - Alan is a past member of both the American and the International Solar Energy Societies, was a representative for Armstrong to ASTM, and is currently a member of the Construction Specifications Institute, the Society of Architectural Historians, Tau Sigma Delta Honor Society in Architecture and Allied Arts, and an associate member of the American Institute of Architects. He has spoken to a variety of audiences over the years and taught in a number of classroom environments. He was invited to speak to large audiences of hospital architects at two health care symposiums in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and authored a paper about flooring in health care facilities that was translated into Chinese for a conference in Shanghai. - - - - Now retired from Armstrong, Alan is devoting more effort to his long-time passion for research in post-quantum physics and metaphysical studies with groups based in New York City, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles. I began studying the collapses of the Towers a couple of years after the event. The more I researched, the more I became convinced they did not fall from the impact and subsequent fires of airplanes. The evidence is overwhelming.

Didn't seem right from the get-go. Spoke to an electrical engineer during an inspection on the morning of 11 Sep 2001. He had not yet heard that the two towers had collapsed, and couldn't believe, from the simple facts we knew at the time, that aircraft impacts could precipitate a collapse of the World Trade Towers. Soon the President announced names of the highjackers who had crashed the planes, and propagated the story of Al Qaeda as the terrorism perpetrators. Right, and a highjacker left a passport that survived the pulverization of the Towers! Too many plain tall tales and improbable explanations surround the circumstances of that day. Now we can begin to understand that, as Barry Zwicker's Towers of Deception book sketches out, the traumatic shock of the spectacular experience makes the mind need explanation, and the initial propaganda catapulted by Bush and the media that most people did accept as explanation even if tentatively, causes pain when contradicted by countering evidence. Statements of the A/E professionals here provide ample brief summary of that evidence.

I graduated from Columbia in 1974 and went on to practice architecture and civil engineering for 8 years. I am now a computer specialist in integration, CAD and software engineering.
By 9/12 I was convinced that there was something fishy about the collapse of the WTC. I learned about progressive collapse from my engineering professors at Columbia, and I found it hard to imagine that the twin towers could have failed in that way. They were specifically designed to resist impact and load applied by the collision of a Boeing 707 jet. The buildings appeared to have been destroyed by an engineered demolition. When I articulated my suspicions, however, I was met with derision. I have continued, however, in my conviction that the buildings were intentionally destroyed.

My employer sent me to NY on 9/10/01 on business, and I flew into NY LaGuardia on 9/10/01 at 11:30 PM. I was in New York City on 9/11/01, so am one of millions to witness this destruction from relatively near, and remained in NY for weeks after. Knowing like many that all was surely not as it appeared, we brought in films and lecturers to Kansas City starting in 2001 in order to educate others of the need for real and impartial investigations of what is certainly a false flag event. This evil deed must not continue to go unpunished. The actual perpetrators will yet be brought to justice, and through this we can correct and adjust for our future. We the people can always handle the truth, yet most of those in power are proven irresponsible and cannot allow the truth, much less demand it. We demand an actual arms length technical investigation, outsourced to a truly independent commission, to follow to wherever the truth itself leads. We should also demand actual and thorough criminal investigations and prosecutions, starting with basic evidence from the crime scene itself.

I attended the Art & Design specialized High School in New York where I graduated. I am a graduate of the City College of New York, School of Architectural & Environmental Studies with a degree in B.Science-Architecture. I don't believe that the fact that the airplanes that struck the North and South Towers by themselves made the Twin Towers fall. I do not doubt that the possibility of a controlled demolition was used to purposely bring the buildings down. Somewhere in a remote desert, maybe in Arizona, a scaled down version of the World Trade Center - ALL 7 buildings as they once stood, should be built and then have similarly scaled down - remote controlled U.A.V.'s flown into them with a fuel similar to what the planes were carrying and let it burn for the exact amount of time before the collapse, to see if the reenacted fires would by themselves result in a collapse of the towers. This would be a test similar to the tests that are conducted inside wind tunnels for the design of aircraft.

For the past 6 years since 9/11, my belief in the official media accounts of what happened to the WTC that day has been gradually but increasingly eroding down to disbelief. Yet, I have been willfully disregarding any 'conspiracy theories' that loudly and obnoxiously point fingers at the Presidency with more hatred than evidence (Bush has some power, but he is not omnipotent!). But, after stumbling upon this site, I find some of my colleagues have been quietly and steadfastly giving this issue a fair and rational assessment that I now think deserves my attention and support. There are many serious questions that have yet to be answered about 9/11, and I am looking forward to being part of the movement towards uncovering the truth, whatever it may be, wherever it may lead us.

I have amounted the denial of the true reasons for the WTC buildings' collapse in the architecture and engineering field to a simple emotional unwillingness to examine the facts. If you know the collapse times, if you know what fireproofing is, if you know how little fireproofing would be knocked off by the plane crashes (comparatively in terms of the whole building size), if you have a comprehension of steel and concrete strength and what would happen in a true failure, if you know EXACTLY how these towers were built--you would know that is absolutely impossible that the WTC buildings collapsed due to fire caused by airline crashes. Again, the denial of the true reasons for the WTC buildings' collapse in the architecture and engineering field must be amounted to a simple emotional unwillingness to examine the facts--and I have met many deniers.

There's no way that small or big fires can bring down a steel structure building at free fall speed and in the path of greatest resistance, and that can turn concrete and glass into very fine dust, even less being able to pulverize and melt steel!!! Thermate as been identified scientifically by Prof. Steven E. Jones, Ph.D., Physics, on pieces of steel coming from the WTC.

The multitude of unanswered questions, regarding the manner that all three WTC buildings collapsed, should be cause for serious re-evaluation of the facts and a concerted investigation to uncover the truth.

Skeptical of symmetrical and rapid collapse of towers and lack of credible description of cause of collapse. Doubts of the credibility of the whole public story of 9/11 - spent hours on the web trying to understand the specifics of the event: time lines, the actions surrounding 9/11 both before and after, evidence presented or lack thereof. The more I looked the more skeptical I have become.

Own and operate my design firm in New York City, 'MAKE DESIGN' working on new construction houses around the globe. I've lived and worked in New York for 4 years for various architectural firms.
The collapses were triggered by alternate, synchronized, pre-planed explosions. The buildings would not have collapsed due to the plane crashes. There was not enough heat to destroy the structural integrity of the steel.

From the first moment I saw the footage on TV on the day off 9/11/2001, I was suspicious about the complete collapse off these buildings, looking like a demolition site. I do not trust this government, and am convinced they could have planned all off it. I don't believe in Terrorism, but in terrorizing us in fear.

I quit the AIA over its lack of interest in this issue. Without insisting on a thorough explanation of what transpired on 9/11, the AIA simply cannot claim to represent the architectural profession. - - - - I didn't see video footage of the collapses until 2005. At that point I spent months searching the web for more information. At the end of the day, the deliberate demolition is obvious. The reasons for doing so are incomprehensible - which is why many people refuse to acknowledge reality. The reality however, is that multiple crimes were committed, and crimes need to be investigated and the criminals brought to justice. They never were in Iraq.

Although I don't agree with all claims made about the controlled demolition of the Twin Towers, there are too many unanswered questions regarding Tower 7 to simply ignore the issue and accept the 9/11 Commission Report's solution...or lack of a solution...

At first I could not believe that the world trade center buildings 1 and 2 were taken down by demolitions, but after doing my research, seeing several documentaries on general demolitions I began to compare the collapse of building 7 to the footage of normal building demolitions. As I continued to research the events of 9/11 it became clear to me that there needs to be a serious independent study of the events and the collapse of buildings 1, 2 and 7. Now, there is no question in my mind that all three building were taken down by controlled demolitions. One question that I did have in the following days of 9/11 was the statement that all steel was being sent to China, having grown up in a steel town in Ohio, I couldn't imagine that the steel would not have been kept for investigation.
