On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville where I majored in Civil & Environmental Engineering and received a BS degree in 1975 and MS in 1977. I worked primarily for environmental regulatory agencies of the State of Tennessee in the areas of coal mining regulation focusing on water impacts and solid and hazardous waste. I retired in 2013.
From everything I have read (and I have been interested in this from the beginning and have read quite a bit) I seriously doubt that the impact of the planes or fires resulting from the plane crashes caused the collapse of the towers. A diesel fire just doesn't burn hot enough and not nearly enough heat near the top would be transmitted to the bottom of the support columns to cause significant weakening. Even in the unlikely event that a weakening and collapse of part of the structure started near the top, the lower structure would most likely retain enough strength to resist a 'pancake' type collapse. And if one accepts that the structure could collapse under the weight of the upper levels, it would be a slow, uneven collapse, not the 'free fall' type collapse that occurred. Such an event would only result from explosive charges placed throughout the building as in a controlled demolition which this most certainly was. And the fine pulverization of the structures also points to use of massive amounts of explosives rather than a slow collapse.

The official study of the cause of the WTC destruction is clearly inadequate, as it is doubtful that aircraft could cause the towers to free fall into their own footprint without controlled demolition. Also, Building 7 was clearly too far away from the twin towers to have been destroyed by the collapse of the towers. Cell phone calls from passengers lacked air cabin background noise, suggesting that the aircraft landed elsewhere and the calls were made from the ground, not to mention that cell calls from moving high-altitude aircraft is highly problematic. Finally, the fact that all debris was hurriedly and illegally removed before a thorough forensic study is highly suspicious, pointing to an 'inside job'.

Especially after the kerosine had all burned off. The buildings disintegrated at almost free-fall speed. The part of the towers below the impact zones, which should have been completely intact and strong, did not provide any resistance in the symmetrical freefall collapse of the buildings. The limited pile of rubble remaining is not consistent with a 450 meter tall towers. The symmetrical nature and freefall speed during the collapse of WTC7 is even more puzzling as no plane ever hit that building.

I have watched at least a dozen documentaries that draw upon but conflict with the many mainstream news stories about what happened that day. I have read the NIST and 9/11 Commission Reports and found them to be highly implausible on their face. David Ray Griffin's Debunking 9/11 Debunking is a comprehensive look at the events that day that raises serious questions. What AE911Truth asks is that only a sliver of the truth be discovered, a logical explanation for the destruction of the 3 World Trade Center buildings, without speculation, political bias, or secret agendas included. I support that effort because it is not only a reasonable demand that citizens of this country place upon its agent, the U.S. government, but one which is wholly fundamental to a continued free society. Evidence of thermite, free fall collapse in a demolition manner, and eye witness accounts which were excluded from evidence, must be reexamined publicly. My inquiry into this matter came as a result of being a photographer at the Pentagon that day, went inside the building and surrounding areas, and personally saw no reasonable evidence of a Boeing 757-223 having hit the Pentagon, although there was related debris. In light of the USG's historical false flag activity i.e. Gulf of Tonkin, it was reasonable to look into the possibility that Pentagon and NYC may be similarly staged events. The continued shroud of secrecy surrounding the events of 9/11, to include the non-release of dozens of surveillance videos that supposedly captured the plane hitting the Pentagon, only strengthen my position and resolve. I recommend that the official story be corrected to conform to the legally required guidelines of the Information Quality (Data) Act. After watching the precision with which the towers collapsed, I was then, and remain today, of the opinion that it was a controlled demo job. I did calculations at the time estimating that the rubble pile was much too small...material had to disappear/ vaporize in order for the pile to be as small as it was. Conservatively, the pile of rubble would have to have been about 30 stories deep (including accounting for the 7 stories below grade being packed tight with debris, no air spaces!); a 'pyramid' with a base of 600 ft square. Anyone who has ever witnessed a controlled demolition would have immediately recognized its 'signature in this collapse. Not likely to cut off all of the columns on only one side of the building and still have it come down vertically, virtually within its own footprint, like it did.

I believe there are small factions who have interest in manufacturing consent to go to war as well as destroying damning evidence. This is because the truth is that government is simply a euphemism for slavery. Mental bondage by conditioning, taxation by coercion, and substance prohibition are some examples of this. Many people have worked since the founding of this country to turn what our forefathers built into a form of neo-feudalism and increasingly control over the minds of the public. I am not sure what to think about the event, but I certainly know there is a lot of fishy things about 9/11 and that the official story is almost completely inaccurate. I think most people in the government are not bad people but are contributing to a system that does much more harm than good. We need to convince these people to do the right thing in this case and make a new investigation.

It could not possibly be caused by airplanes striking the towers, or by fire. It is also a FACT that tower #7 could not possibly implode due to fuel tanks in the basement. The laws of physics simply do not allow the claims that these three buildings IMPLODED due to fire. Additionally, buildings do not and cannot implode naturally. The towers would have toppled over. They could NOT implode on their own. It is simply not possible. Furthermore, a plethora of evidence has surfaced regarding the planes, the security systems, the insurance, the magic passports, and so much more, that all clearly point in one direction - conspiracy to defraud.

I worked as a maintenance man in large London hotels. For a brief period. I kinda got the feeling for big structures. I also worked on a demolition gang in my youth albeit on much smaller structures mainly built of bricks. I can remember the problems that a small gas pipe which was 'hidden in a wall' could cause. Demolition is very tricky and very dangerous as so many things can go wrong. Watching those buildings collapse on 911, I said straight away that someone had done a very good job.

While having no experience in any field, related even indirectly to engineering or architecture, I have enough of an intellect to clearly understand the approximate difference between what a controlled vs. uncontrolled demolition of a skyscraper, would look like. The destruction of WTC 1 and 2 clearly appeared controlled. The destruction of WTC 7 actually looks more controlled than several of the 'acknowledged' controlled demolition jobs, available for viewing on the internet.I cannot imagine any reasonable person, performing even a cursory review or comparison (of other controlled demolitions) of the destruction of WTC 7, as anything other than controlled.

It is clear from eye-witness footage that explosives were used. Official explanations deny the presence of explosives. Building 7 was not hit by a plane. Building 7 turned into a pile of rubble in seconds. The official explanation is an obvious lie. I have found over the past 4 years that friends refuse to discuss the topic. The truth of 9/11 turns solid ground into quicksand.

Having no knowledge or expertise in such matters, I thought from the first moment I saw it on TV that the fall of WTC Building 7 looked like a controlled demolition. I accepted that the other two towers fell because they were hit by planes but in researching and trying to educate myself it has become clear that that could not be the case. So how did they fall? It is past time for a new, true investigation into this heinous crime that has so damaged our country and the world and is still claiming the lives of our first responders.
