To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Isaac Newton has made the only statement that should be needed to justify an independent investigation into 9/11. Ironically, this same statement made by Newton, which would later become Three Laws, guided civilization without fault for over 300 years until 9/11. These Laws faulted on that day not because of an error in Newton's calculations, but because civilization chose to ignore them. I cannot, however, as to do so would be to brazenly disregard the physics on which our society is built. The government's explanation and public's currently held view regarding the collapse of WTC 1, 2, and 7 does not fully take into account Newton's Three Laws of Motion. In every other aspect of our profession, Architects and Engineers have a civic duty to use these Laws to keep the public safe. 9/11 should be no exception.

I have practiced Civil & Structural Engineering for the past 30 years. I graduated as a Structural Engineer in 1979. It's hard for me to accept the collapse of building #7, as this building sustained no Structural damage and that the building came down due to an office fire. Technically and structurally this is impossible for a steel structure to come down by a fire. Therefore I strongly feel that there needs to be an independent investigation as to the cause of the collapse.

This is an extremely complicated story with numerous players and motives. The 9/11 time line facts don't all make sense or fit neatly together. It's a story full of espionage, deceit, and lies. But if there are forces out there tricking us, they can only succeed if we, the general public, remain ignorant and passive.

All the evidence confirms the collapse of the three towers resulted from a controlled demolition. The numerous explosions, prior to the towers collapsing, the squibs of smoke and light flashes observed in the towers preceding the collapses, the free fall collapses, the molten steel found weeks after the collapses, the samples of steel which were examined and the dust samples containing thermate all confirm a controlled demolition.

The American people, but more importantly the anguished families who endure a life of endless suffering from having lost a loved one in the WTC building collapses, deserve to know the truth of what happened. They deserve to know the real truth to have some sense of closure and if possible to get some justice for their loved one. In my opinion there are too many unanswered questions regarding the way the investigation was done and how a conclusion was reached. The American people can clearly see that the conclusion given in the report of how the towers came down is a farce. The preponderance of the evidence (even from a clandestine investigation) still leaves questions as to how the towers fell and shows how ludicrously the investigation was handled and reported by the commission. Even a person who was 'born yesterday' can clearly see through the smoke and mirrors of this investigation. So if a person like that can clearly see the injustice being brought forward to the American public, imagine what an American citizen who lost a loved one must be feeling. Total betrayal! A new independent investigation should be done with no records being held secret. This should be a new investigation with independent oversight by a newly elected commission. This way the people who were impacted the most may feel that they weren't bamboozled.

Let me start by saying that I am not a conspiracy theorist. I have no idea who was responsible for the WTC buildings coming down, what their motives were, or anything of that nature. What I do know is the three buildings that collapsed that day were, without a doubt, brought down by controlled demolition. You don't have to be a scientist or a genius to figure that out. The conspiracy theory seems to be what is found on the pages of the 9/11 Commission's report.

About politics from what I had previously come to believe and after watching the WTC towers fall (on video), I believe them to have been an engineerd demolition. Very simple. The symmetry of the collapses is too perfect for the non-symmetrical damage occurring to the WTC buildings, internally and externally. Support columns, floors, etc would need to fail at the same time for the falls to occur that perfectly, as in a controlled demolition of a building. Most controlled demolitions that have been recorded aren't as perfect as the 9/11 one was. Very precise.
