PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

It's strange that there are so many fundamental observations that can be made that prove, beyond a doubt, that the events of that day differ from the generally accepted causes. - - Seems it is more like a religious debate, or a political debate, and many people will take a side and not budge the slightest, even when presented simple observations or facts. For example, - 1. Rate of collapse of the buildings - 2. The projectiles that are projected perpendicular to the force of gravity - 3. The destruction of an entire building, below the impact point by a significantly SMALLER 'hammer' ie, the top part of the building - 4. The repeated observations by credible witnesses, ie the fireman, that observed many, many explosions - 5. In the videos of the destruction, anyone can see the significant emissions of material horizontally out from the building - - And on and on... You don't need a microscope to figure this one out.

From the moment I saw the towers fall I could not believe that the impact from a plane could cause those towers to fall straight down as they did. Being involved in the metal fabrication industry it was impossible for those towers to free fall as they did with little to no resistance. It was a perfect demolition job and not a result of pancaking floors - the building fell straight down as if the structural steel frame holding it all together was completely compromised. I am shocked that it has taken this long for the truth of what actually happened to begin to surface.

Objects move through the path of least resistance. Towers 1 and 2 collapsed through the path of most resistance. Normally, you would expect the layers to fall with increasing eccentricity as the collapse progressed, rather than through the centreline where the greatest resistance is. NIST's cascade theory depends on mathematical modeling, and as with all complex models, numerous assumptions are needed to get the model to run. An independent review is needed to verify the reasonableness and plausibility of the factors included in the model which was used to support the cascade theory. We need to independently verify whether the NIST analysis was a case of shooting the arrow and then painting the bulls eye around it. Furthermore, films of the collapse of WTC7 show a very improbable event: the symmetrical collapse of a building that was impacted by the WTC 1&2 debris asymmetrically. Both ends of WTC7 should not have begun their collapse at the same moment if left to chance alone. The collapses of WTC 1, 2, and 7, purely from an engineering point of view, and leaving out any political theories or implications, do not make sense without the assistance of explosives or other devices or some other as-yet unimagined factor to remove resistance and control the collapse. I very much recommend that the engineers, whose duty it is to determine the causes of collapse, remain unswayed by speculations and fears about political implications, and make their assessments based on the physics and engineering alone. The claims made by NIST seem to require multiple leaps of faith in highly improbable events. Improbable things do indeed happen, but as all good skeptics know: Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Born and brought up in Manhattan during the depression. Attended primary school in lower Manhattan, Then, at age 7, moved to Peekskill, NY, where I completed grade and high school. Worked in Peekskill and NYC for almost a year. After Pearl Harbor, volunteered into US Army, where I remained in NY and NJ. Received medical discharge, and with VA scholarship, was able to complete 2 years at University of Arizona and then NYU, where I received a B. E. E. Continued studies at NYU graduate school while I worked as a graduate assistant in the Engineering Department. Worked for 50 years in construction design in and around NYC, including several years in my own engineering business. While working, bought and converted to residential use an old, empty industrial building within Ground Zero. Moved there with my family in 1992. Retired in August, 2001, went for short vacation to Italy, and returned to my own bed on September 10, 2001, where I was awakened by the sound of the first plane crashing into the WTC.
I lived and worked in lower Manhattan before the WTC was built. I witnessed and was involved in several projects within the WTC during and after its construction. On 9/11, I was awakened by the noise of the crash of the first plane into WTC 1 and witnessed the fire and distruction caused by that event. While I was watching, the second plane hit WTC 2. My wife and I left the area by bicycle 20 minutes before the collapse of the North & South Towers, which we witnessed from 1 mile north. My house is 2 blocks from WTC 7, which collapsed several hours later. I was allowed to return to the area 1 week later. I was disturbed by the height of the debris caused by the relatively small WTC 7 compared to the smaller mound from the Twin Towers. Since then I have been following the conspiracy theories, and have found much in them to be accurate and troubling more accurate than the official government reports.

I fully concur with Fourteen Points of Agreement with Official Government Reports on the World Trade Center Destruction submitted to the Open Civil Engineering Journal. Especially with NIST's statement regarding WTC 7 that Although the total diesel fuel on the premises contained massive potential energy, the best hypothesis has only a low probability of occurrence. Further research, investigation, and analysis are needed to resolve this issue. Indeed it does require further investigation and as an engineer I take this language to mean that there is no official theory that adequately explains the collapse of building 7 of it's own accord.

I was born in Ohio in 1953. I remember the recurring news videos on TV, saying today they razed the old bank building in Akron, later the old office building in Canton. The report stated them all to be controlled demolitions, and described what that meant. All the videos looked the same: several explosions in various corners, then each building fell straight down in a neat pile. News videos of other buildings harmed by water, wind, or fire never once showed them to fall straight down in neat piles. So my conclusion was that only controlled demolitions cause buildings to fall straight down in neat piles.
When I saw on TV on September 11, 2001 the video footage of the first WTC building falling straight down into a neat pile, it looked exactly like all those controlled demolitions I had seen on TV as a young person. The second WTC building falling video doubled that affirmative recognition. The third WTC building falling video tripled the recognition of the fact that the 3 WTC buildings falling, all looked exactly like the many controlled demolition videos I had watched in the 1950's and 1960's. Certainly there are millions of persons besides myself who also grew up watching these dozens of videos of controlled demolitions and can recognize the 911 collapses as identical to those controlled demolitions. This fact gives me hope that we millions can add our voices to help bring the majority of Americans to recognize the one and only way possible that the 3 WTC buildings were caused to fall straight down in neat piles.

Never took notice until I see the video of WT7 being demolished. A comparison to that video and a video of controlled demolition has change my whole view on this world. I watched in real-time, on Mainstream Media, the collapse of one of the World Trade Centers. I'm not an architect or a structural engineer, but I can certainly tell that the Tower fell as if it was a planned demolition. No building built with that amount of structural steel, beams, etc. would fall the way it did from a plane smashing into it. Common sense prevails.

I was just a young boy when 9/11 happened, only 4 years old. Almost 5. And I still remember it all to this day. I was at my grandmothers watching cartoons with my little brother when all channels were interrupted. As I grew older and gained more knowledge about construction, physics, and engineering, etc etc I knew something wasn't right. I started doing my own independent research stemming from what I know from working construction as a steel erector for a few years.
