On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have been designing power systems and components for 25 years at various divisions of Lockheed Martin. I was responsible for the design and development of switching power supplies for satellite communication and space shuttle systems at Astro-Space Division in Princeton NJ. I performed detailed design and analysis of high-density DC-to-DC converters. I was involved in all aspects of power converter design including part selection, control loop theory, magnetic design, PSPICE analysis, thermal management and EMI suppression to meet MIL-461. I advanced to a technical lead position at Naval Electronics and Surveillance Systems Division in Moorestown, NJ to design power systems for AEGIS shipboard radars. There I defined system architectures to achieve high performance at low cost. I also designed energy storage components to support pulse loads and power distribution configurations for high reliability. I transferred to Missiles and Fire Control in Orlando, FL to develop new high-density energy storage capacitors. Prior to Lockheed Martin, I was developing power systems for computer and peripheral commercial products at Formation Inc in Moorestown, NJ. There, I specified AC-to-DC and DC-to-DC power modules for distributed hot swappable (n+1) redundant power systems. I was involved with computing reliability using MIL-HDBK-217F, and assured products met safety agency UL, CSA, and TUV requirements. I have written many papers related to power conversion and system configurations. I have four patents related to power electronics and thermal management systems. I have a BSEE from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ.

In 1993, Brian Thompson joined the local combination volunteer fire department, working beside Seattle firefighters and trained at the Washington State Fire Academy. Seven years later, he earned his undergraduate degree in civil engineering from Marquette University, including a 12-month internship in fire protection engineering at a consultancy in downtown Chicago. For the next 2 years he continued to work as a volunteer firefighter. Thompson then attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) where he earned his Master's Degree in Fire Protection Engineering. While at WPI, he attended Professor Jonathan Barnett's building fire safety lecture on the first anniversary of 9-11, in which Barnett describing his involvement and experience as a FEMA investigator, and their findings. He holds professional licenses in both Fire Protection Engineering and Civil Engineering in multiple states, and came into the role of Principal in 2006 practicing fire protection engineering design and consulting.
The lack of the FEMA team's ability to conduct a proper investigation of the original collapse conditions, the explanation developed by the FEMA team, and the subsequent contradictory conclusion by NIST, raised questions. In an effort to answer these questions, I have researched various information and data compiled by others. My research has left these questions unresolved, and reinforced my doubt in the official story regarding the cause of collapse for both WTC towers and Building 7.

Although, I was always suspicious about the nature of collapse of the twin towers, I am MUCH more disturbed about the nature of the collapse of Building 7 and what is likely represents. Also, the significant signs of molten metal during and immediately after the collapse of the buildings, (negating the situations where rescuers used torches to remove rubble) is very alarming. Also, I am very disturbed by the lack of thorough investigation of the 911 events. I hope the credibility of the researchers who have found nanothermite is maintained as this will likely be a source of attack for those who want to prevent a new investigation. I believe it is time for firemen, engineers, architects, lawyers, pilots, family survivors, first responders to all support each other to DEMAND a new investigation. 911 is the blackest of modern day historical events and it is SCREAMING for a proper investigation. 911 was an excuse for war, and if in fact it was a premeditated act by more than just the air attackers, then the response attacks AFTER 911 were as much or more EVIL than 911 itself. The truth MUST be found and accountability must be resolved or we as a society, will never be free of its effects.

While a Firefighter and a Paramedic I saw numerous buildings collapse. none were steel frame. I was at the Philadelphia Meridian Fire in 1991. 3 of my fellow Firefighters died in that building. 2 of whom I personally knew. While I did not know the third Firefighter, he was my brother. Saddened to the core by the loss of 3 Firefighters? I cannot imagine losing 343 as did my FDNY brothers did on 9/11. As a former Firefighter I can assure you that no one, not one, of the Firefighters present at the Meridian Building fire thought that building was going to collapse. Falling debris from the engulfed floors was a worry, but not the building coming down. I can also assure you that those FDNY Firefighters didn't ever in their wildest imaginations imagine those towers coming down. Brave men and women, but not kamikazes or suicidal. They knew the buildings were not coming down due to fire. Initial command post was in the lobby of the first tower struck. Obviously they saw the damage in the lobby, but the reason for that could be ascertained later. The job at hand was to rescue people and put out the fire. Some of the brightest and most educated Firefighters set up that command post. They are promoted after written testing and verbal scenario knowledge to Fire Chief. In fact there was one Chief on the 78th floor who radioed that he needed 2 hoselines to put out the fire. That tells me that rescue was no longer needed at his level of the building and it also tells me that the fires were not all that great. That Chief and 342 other Firefighters did not know that they were set up to die. I will admit that when I witnessed the towers collapse on 9/11 (on TV), I was in a funk as to why they collapsed. Believe it or not, I attributed the collapses to how perfectly the Architects planned and constructed those towers. As if the perfect collapse was also their design

The video analyses provided create a serious question (if not PROOF) of a inconsistancy in what the public has been told and what actually happened. The symmetry and speed at which not just two - but 3 buildings collapsed points to controlled demolition which is not able to be accomplished without significant planning, preparation and execution. The near free-fall collapse of these buildings, especially the office building that showed very limited damage before its collapse in its own footprint in the late afternoon, raises great questions. I am concerned that the buildings collapsed too neatly and didn't topple over. I believe that controlled demolition was involved. I attended a conference where a janitor from the WTC claimed he heard explosions in the basement prior to the collapses. I cannot fathom how WTC7 could collapse due to a fire.

The day of 9/11, while vewing on TV the tower's collapse, I could not believe 4 things: first the regular speed of the collapse (I remember myself estimating this speed... again and again), second: I could'nt believe that the fire could do that (most of the keros'ne burned outside just after plane crash), third: I could'nt explain disparition of the central metal structure of the towers... fourth: I didn't know of building 7 at the time!!! The event does fit into the general scheme of things of how governments work and social systems work. We will not know the truth because too many individuals would be exposed. I have been a registered Architect for 27 years. I have been responsible for over half a billion dollars worth of construction. This construction includes medical, institutional, commercial, residential, multi-family residential, and spiritual architecture. Building types include wood frame, heavy timber frame, masonry, steel frame and concrete, pre-cast concrete, post-stressed concrete, poured-in-place concrete.
After watching the research version DVD, I am absolutely convinced that all 3 buildings were brought down by controlled demolition. The question is why? I hope and pray this is the answer: The CIA knew the plan to fly the planes into the buildings, but they did not know when or how. In case the CIA could not stop Al-Qaeda, they were afraid a portion of the building(s) could slide off and destroy many more buildings in the surrounding area. They decided to paint the core with thermite and wire the buildings in the event they could not stop the terrorists. In the event the planes crashed into the buildings, they could at least control the demolition and save more buildings of NY City. Dropping Building 7 throws a monkey wrench into my theory, except its proximity to the others and the damage from the debris???

As a professional I have been part of the demolition of many structures. It has been my experience they are extremely difficult to demolish and I find it highly unlikely the towers or building 7 would fall in the manner they did. The free fall of all 3 buildings has very good documentation. The NIST report have no theory or comment to this fact, as far I can see.

I was a student at Pratt Iinst. in Architecture in the 1960s as the WTC was being built. I have photos of the original construction of the towers.
No doubt it was controlled demolition because of the explosions before hand at lower levels and thermite burning diagonally on steel beams. speed of descent and the fact that buildings were worked on for period of time before 911 while bomb sniffing dogs were removed from buildings during that time. The crenelated structure was chopped as shown by photos as sections of wall fell.

No building, nor any other structure, would fall symmetrically when hit from one direction. It would tip over because of gravity. When we watched the collapse of the two towers I did not think so much about it. But when building 7 collapsed the way it did I got vey suspicious. Sole proprietor doing mostly single & multifamily custom and major remodel projects. I did all the structural calc's & vertical load analysis as I designed the projects.
Watching the 9/11 events as they unfold and on the spot reporting from firefighters and others about hearing explosions at ground zero and then a day later an adjacent multistory building spontaneously implode and fall to the ground looking exactly like a controlled demolition I began to question what was actually going on. After reading ' Crossing the Rubicon' by Michael C. Ruppert documenting facts of 'inside job' influences and warnings from others I was blown away.

The way the WTC1 and WTC2 steel-towers collapsed, after burning less than 1 hour, simply cannot be explained by the oxygen starved office fires which were the result of the plane impacts. Especially after the kerosine had all burned off. The buildings disintegrated at almost free-fall speed. The part of the towers below the impact zones, which should have been completely intact and strong, did not provide any resistance in the symmetrical freefall collapse of the buildings. The limited pile of rubble remaining is not consistent with a 450 meter tall towers. The symmetrical nature and freefall speed during the collapse of WTC7 is even more puzzling as no plane ever hit that building.

Architects do live quite often in a love-hate relationship with gravitation. After a while, they may attain deep intuition for statics and first estimates very often come close to later calculations. If you look at the three collapses through the eyes of a professional, you just can not belief, that these huge constructions just end in smoke.

I am fully in support of the fact that the buildings where brought down by explosives,there is no other way for this type of destruction, other than controlled demolition-We need the truth and the truth shall prevail.

Arch., 3 years' experience in planning research faciilities in the US Public Health service, 3 years at Sasaki Associates, 30 years teaching architectural design and building systems at Florida A&M University, and a residential practice specializing in environmentally responsible design.
After watching the AE911Truth video and discussing it with colleagues, I am convinced there is credible evidence for re-opening the investigation of the World Trade Center towers and Building 7 collapse. I believe the evidence points strongly in the direction of the use of explosive charges placed on key structural elements to bring the buildings down, and that the actual collapse was not due to the impact of the planes and the subsequent jet fuel fires.

I studied at Madrid Polytechnic University. I finished my career in 1989. Since then, 25 years, I have worked in building construction; many new buildings, many rehabilitated and some demolitions.
There is lots of evidence to indicate that the official version is very wrong. Images of crashes, and the numbers are handled in physics says what happened was a controlled demolition and not a collapse. We ask for independent research to clarify the truth of what happened on September 11, 2001.

My professional education as an architect is augmented by hands-on experience making and taking apart physical objects, such as using steel and welding, and extremely high-temperature ceramics.
Being an architect is not a prerequisite to understanding the visual evidence of the film footage: no airplane impact caused the explosions and internal collapse of the Towers 1 and 2 structures, and there WAS no airplane involved in Building 7.

I work as a Project Manager for a Home Performance company focused on making homes more energy efficient, durable, safe, comfortable and healthy.
Having seen a documentary on building demolition prior to the collapse of the 3 high rises, I have believed all along that it is more likely that explosives were involved than not. It takes engineering and skill to execute a demolition so neatly. The evidence of the presence of Thermite is hard to ignore. I can't help but wonder, how and why explosives were in place?
