On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

More recently I've performed construction administration services for a new $120M high school campus including a $10M steel-framed gymnasium; managing construction documentation of a mixed use urban project with 1.2M sq. ft. of retail and 320,000 sq.ft. of high-rise office space - altogether about 1,200 tons of steel framing.

I defer to the experts in the field. However, I do have a solid theoretical background in the fundamentals of engineering, physics and chemistry. My relevant education includes basic undergraduate courses in physics, chemistry, thermodynamics, materials science, psychology and neuropsychology. I have understanding and respect for the scientific method: the method of following the evidence wherever it may lead without prejudice or bias, to arrive at scientifically-derived conclusions, no matter how unpopular or politically incorrect they may or may not be. Science influenced by politics is not pure science; it is pseudo-science. Pure science MUST be apolitical, meaning independent of political influence at every stage. This is always a challenge for professionals, but an ideal worth striving for, both for the integrity of the discipline of science, and for the service of science to humanity.
I first learned of the twin tower collapses on one of the major TV news networks. My personal experience was one of surrealism. It felt more like a dream than reality. Immediately, the names that came to mind were Bin Laden, and Al Quada, and some time later I realized that I had been psychologically primed by the media with this information. I originally believed the story told by the mainstream media and government officials that very hot jet fuel fires caused the steel to melt and collapse. But I think subconsciously I had some reservations that the buildings could collapse at free-fall acceleration, and fall so neatly into their own footprints. I had seen demolition videos before, and the similarity was not lost on me. Many years went by and I began to see inside job bumper stickers, and internet images and stories, the first of which was the BBC story claiming that the Soloman Brothers Building (WTC 7) had collapsed even though it was allegedly visible in the background. After posting this on Facebook as a curiosity, I was contacted by a friend who had been following 9/11 truth for some time. I began my own informal research effort studying internet materials, tempered by my understanding of scientific phenomena and engineering principles. The more I researched, the more it became clear that the official story was not believable, and much of the 9/11 truth information was very plausible and realistically a much more likely explanation of events. There is much evidence to consider: eyewitness accounts of explosions, large volumes of molten metal observed streaming from at least one building both before and after its collapse, large quantities of residual heat, discovery of steel microspheres, discovery of unreacted thermite, the physics of free fall requiring zero vertical support and thus requiring ALL steel support columns to be severed simultaneously, no history of modern steel building collapses due to fire, WTC 1, 2 & 7 all collapsing in a similar manner despite differences in building structure and in structural damage, black smoke indicating a lack of oxygen and a relatively cool fire apparently not hot enough to melt steel in the volumes observed, the buildings being designed to withstand airplane impact of 10% higher kinetic energy, evidence that the government ignored warnings, and so much more... I believe the evidence supporting the case for controlled demolition is overwhelming. There are also compelling means, motive and opportunity for nefarious elements in government to carry out such an attack. At least one experimenter with videos on youtube has shown that a thermite charge placed on a steel bolt is an effective and efficient means of destruction, and offers a plausible explanation of events, and is consistent with the WTC evidence.

Veteran US Navy - Operations Specialist 2nd Class I am familiar with how our air radar coverage works, especially in that DC - NY corridor since I was based out of Norfolk, VA. I knew as I was watching it live when they reported that the planes were off course for over an hour, that someone was lying. NORAD would have scrambled jets within 5 minutes. My suspicions were confirmed when I heard months later that NORAD said that they were running exercises in the area and that's why they couldn't respond fast enough. They said that the radar operators couldn't tell which planes were real and which were training. During military exercises like that, someone ALWAYS has the real world radar picture in front of them.

Why is it that in the history of high rise fires in the City of New York, only the World trade center buildings have collapsed due to fire damage? When I first saw the collapse of the WTC towers, my training in Theory of Structures and Construction, and an interest in physics, immediately pointed out to me that the towers were being demolished by explosions within and throughout the building structures. The 'official' view that the collapses occurred due to structural failure caused by fires resulting from the airplane impacts is DEFINITELY false, and suggests to me that those who produced the 'official' view served the agenda of the true perpetrators of the atrocity, and therefore are implicated in the attack. Although I do hold a degree in engineering (B.S. Mechanical Engineering Technology, May 2003, U-Maine) , I do not work as a licensed professional engineer. I am involved in the residential real estate appraisal field, where I am professionally licensed.
Who could forget where they were that morning, the morning of September the 11, 2001? I remember working on a class project as an engineering student in the Machine Tool lab at the University of Maine that morning when hearing on the radio about a plane crashing into the WTC. I remember my initial reaction, thinking oh, it must have been an accident, maybe a Cessna or something. Later that morning, upon returning to the dorm, I remember all of us glued to the television watching in horror as the days events unfolded. As the weeks turned to months and the months turned to years, I guess those memories of 911 faded somewhat...or moved to the background and I just assumed that the professionals we entrusted to discover just what had happened that day were doing their job and justice was being served. It wasn't until fairly recently that I stumbled across some videos on YouTube drawing doubts on the official report, my interest was piqued. Of interest especially, were some simple experiments done by Jonathan H. Cole P.E. that outlined the basic physics of the WTC collapse. The arguments were so simple and damning that I felt foolish for not noticing at the time of the attacks. Since then, I have done more and more research on the matter, and am convinced that we need another investigation by a truly independent and objective body of professionals to find the truth, no matter where it may lead us. My greatest fear at this point is that the knee-jerk anti-conspiracy theory sentiment so prevalent among many Americans in this country will prevent this new investigation from ever taking place.

The catastrophes of 9-11-2001 at the World Trade Center are in complete contradiction to the simple law of physics that heat raises! The multiple applications for demolition of the two World Trade Centers were denied by the New York City Port Authority due to the 'Asbestos Contamination' that would be produced by the explosions. The Twin-Towers had become 'White Elephants' due to the age and condition of the ASBESTOS DETERIORATION (fire proofing) causing ever expanding health issues with those working in the buildings.

I am retired from a forty year career in the field of engineering, land use and municipal planning. My last professional position was Community Development Director, from 1988 to 1998, of the City of Snoqualmie, WA.
The events of 9/11/01 have created the most visible icon of the threats to the well-being of all life on this planet. How most viewers of those events could accept the government's official view is difficult to understand. Those buildings were pre-wired to fall and most of the evidence that would have supported that view and would have been protected under more ordinary circumstances was swept away. A vigorous investigation into this calamity must be moved forward before the remaining evidence and witnesses to the crimes are also swept away.

There is no denying that 911 was an inside job. You cannot deny basic laws of physics. The towers were professionally demolished. The question is: how far up the chain of command did the knowledge extend to? It must have been planned for years in advance.

The destruction of the Twin Towers and WTC7 do not look like destruction by fire. They look like very fine examples of perfectly controlled explosive demolitions. We have been denied a proper investigation into what caused this demolition.
