To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I just happened to be up working in the early a.m. PST when events started to unfold in NY, and so was able to see all the coverage from the start. What I saw seemed as though a staged production, although certainly a sinister and incredibly tragic one. The eventual collapse of WTC 1&2 seemed completely implausible due to plane crashes and fire damage. As it has turned out, the evidence now shows this to be the case. Even though the media appeared to have no shortage of experts with ready explanations, I was not satisfied with these official stories. My independent research over many years eventually lead me to the understanding of how these towers actually did collapse so catastrophically and disasterously.

After receiving my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2007, I began work at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, where I am still employed. I've spent the last 5 years focused on the hydraulic design of nuclear reactors for use in US Navy submarines.

How did the 3rd building (WTC7) fall? It was not hit by a plane. It had relatively minor fires burning within and its collapse was reported by the BBC approximately 1/2 hour before it fell with a picture of the building in the background of the reporter's reporting of the story. That clip used to be on YouTube before they pulled it off. It fell completely into its own footprint and looks exactly like a controlled demolition. A building is similar to a tree. If you weaken part of it; for example. by chainsawing part of the trunk then it will fall to the ground on an angle. However, if you take it down in a controlled way, by cutting off pieces at a time then it will come down in a controlled fashion. The same thing had to happen with the 2 large towers. The airplane strikes were a foil or a smokescreen for the controlled demolition explosives placed throughout the buildings. If the airplanes were responsible for their destruction then both would have fallen on an angle into the surrounding city blocks. Instead, they came down at near free fall speed into their own footprints.

The odds that three steel-frame buildings would collapse at free-fall speed into their own footprints on the same day, after brief, non-engulfing fires burning at temperatures well below those required to significantly weaken steel girders, are astronomically high. The fact that pools of molten metal remained under the WTC complex for weeks afterward (as confirmed by multiple videos, eyewitnesses, Mayor Guiliani, and aerial infrared thermography analyzed by a science team from Bard College), coupled with forensic evidence of molten and sulfidated metal gathered from the scene, strongly supports the theory that high-temperature demolition explosives and cutting agents were used to bring down the Twin Towers and World Trade Center 7.

I do not think that all the years of education and training that all Architects, Engineers, Researchers and Specialists received collectively could be ignored and purposely wiped by the biased and incomplete reports presented by the commissions. The professional community should speak and demand an honest report that will once and for all put an end to all the lies and contradictions.

For even a lay person, it is clearly impossible that the buildings came down that quickly and were pulverized. This was clearly a controlled demolition that pancaked the building. I am an avid researcher for the truth about 9/11 from an unbiased standpoint. In my opinion, after having seen numerous films of the collapse of the WTC 1 & 2 it seems obvious that these skyscapers collapsed due to a form of controlled demolition. A fire could not have caused the concrete floors to be pulverised or for these buildings to collapse at free fall speed. My experience in engineering is mechanical and involves troubleshooting machinery for automation. I have also built about 60 homes and many additions in my time. I realize that's a lot different than steel framed buildings, but the principles are the same. That is why I can't argue the facts.
I feel like an ignorant idiot for buying into what was presented at the time.(media) It was definitely well planned. At the time it kind of felt like the moments after a car accident, dazed, confused, SHOCKED. Its moments like that (when you're just glad you are still alive) that make facts seem less important. Clearly the symmetrical descent of all three buildings is evidence that a non-random force was inherent in their collapse, rather than random, asymmetrical strikes by aircraft.

I am a systems integration engineer who designs large complex systems with a particular interest in emergent behavior of systems. I am also a student of psychology and have a 2.1 hons degree in psychology as well as a post graduate diploma in psychological after research.
After reviewing the evidence I agree that the truth is different from what is being told. I don't believe I know what the truth is but I am pretty sure that the conclusions drawn by the official report are misreading to the extent they appear to be fabricated. I also believe more in the research findings of the engineers on this page than the official research because it appears that the research done by this group is subjected to scientific rigor - the information is no the table and the conclusions match the evidence -

Although not normally a conspiracy buff, I find the evidence of foul play before, during and after 9/11 to be overwhelming

I have a background in EE and commercial construction. In the last 2 years I have spent hundreds of hours researching 9/11, specifically the collapses of WTC 1, 2, and 7.
The collapse of 3 WTC towers was patently due to controlled demolitions. Over 100 first responders were witness to multiple explosions. Free fall, straight down, symmetrically, imploding inward, can only result from controlled demolitions.

Automotive service technician and business owner. I have a lifetime of experience in the mechanical field. Skilled in the use of oxygen-acetyline gas and arc, mig welding. I have observed molten metal of various types. I use my eyes and observation as primary sources for diagnosing vehicle failures.
I watched WTC 7 drop when I was shown a video in 2004. I have also watched Loose Change. My interest in the event peaked one year ago when I met a group on the steps of the Capitol building in Madison Wisconsin who were telling of the WTC7 destruction. I have watched many video clips since then and am convinced of the destruction being caused by other means than airplane impact and fuel fires.
