PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I was at the WTC in 2004 during cleanup operations. I was given access to the bottom level of the site and was present when debris from a huge pile was being sifted for remains. I took two large chunks of concrete (one had burn marks on it) and donated it to the Mississippi State University (MSU) library. When I returned to Mississippi, I related my visit to the WTC site to my students in a course I taught entitled Forensic Engineering at MSU.

I'm grateful to AE911 truth for upholding the principles of evidence based science that are consistent with those I encountered during my early undergraduate studies and training. Their questions are my questions and I believe that the institutional ethic is undermined by its implicit endorsement of the destruction of valuable data sets, its dismissal of independent inquiry and its bad faith deployment of institutionalised science to subvert the scientific method. The negligence of a single professional, be they medical, scientific or otherwise can result in a custodial sentence. The negligence of a generation of professionals may result in the loss of faith in evidence-based engineering as a tool for good. As such I feel that AE911Truth better represent me in what I was trained to be 'science' than the institutions do at present. I trust this situation will resolve itself eventually to the benefit of all as it always does, hence my membership.

Dear Mr. Gage: Thank you for taking on the architectural and engineering review of the collapses on 9/11 of the buildings at the World Trade Center site. I was dubious of the official explanations from the outset. You see, as a professional city planner in New York, I knew those buildings and their design. I attended and participated in the hearings at the New York City Hall when the buildings were first proposed. I argued for the buildings on the basis that the interior core represented a way of internalizing the cost of mass transit, which in our system is almost impossible to finance through public bond issues. So I was well aware of the strength of the core with its steel columns, surrounding the elevators, and stairwells. I should also mention that with a degree in architecture and instruction in steel design (my Yale professor had worked on the Empire State Building) I was and am no novice in structural design. When I saw the rapid collapse of the towers, I knew that they could not come down the way they did without explosives and the severing of core columns at the base. The spewing of debris from the towers where the planes entered also could not have occurred simply with just a structural collapse. Something else was happening to make this occur. Moreover, the symmetrical collapse is strong evidence of a controlled demolition. A building falling from asymmetrical structural failure would not collapse so neatly, nor so rapidly, as you have pointed out. What we are faced with is a lie of such proportions that even to suggest it makes one subject to ridicule and scorn. Who could have done such a terrible thing? Certainly not our government or military. Rogue elements in the intelligence agencies? I have no idea. But I do know that the official explanation doesn't hold water. An open, honest re-opening of the case is in order. A near majority of Americans agrees with this view. Let us keep pressing for an honest investigation.

Anyone in heavy construction knows how much and how massive the size and quantity of the materials used in the building of such projects as the Trade Center buildings is. The general public cannot begin to understand or even imagine the massive amounts of materials, billions of tons, concreted, welded and bolted together. It is our duty to inform them of the grave criminal njust acts that our government has committed on its own people in bringing those buildings down. There has to be an investigation done to bring forth the truth. The families of the loved ones lost deserve compensation for these acts of terror our own government is covering up. It's the very reason our fore fathers created the original constitution and millions of Americans have given the ultimate sacrifice to defend. The very ones that committed these brutal unmerciful crimes shall be brought forth and shall be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

I spent 2 years working in construction administration for a general contractor before being hired by a large international firm which specializes in high-rise design. I have long believed that the events of 9/11 were suspect. 'Loose Change' opened my eyes to the highly questionable circumstances surrounding the WTC attacks. Bottom line: 9/11 was a 'uniting catalyst' used by our government to pass laws (i.e. the Patriot Act) enabling them to spy on private American citizens. The evidence presented by AE911Truth is sound and needs to be heard by a larger audience. We as architects and engineers should stand up and make our professional opinion heard.

I was working on a construction site in NJ the day the towers were destroyed, and I watched it happen with my own eyes from across the Hudson River. During the initial shock I bought into the official story, trusting that our government was providing us with accurate information. However I quickly grew to doubt the story when the Bush Administration blocked every attempt at a full investigation at the request of the families of the fallen. I have followed the independent research on 9/11 since 2003, I have studied the NIST-issued reports and the building structures themselves, and I have no doubt that all three towers were destroyed by controlled demolition. The top portion of a building, no matter how damaged, cannot fall through the fully intact lower portion of itself, not to mention at free fall speed. The mainstream media lockdown on 9/11 facts and the notion that anyone who questions the official story is a conspiracy theorist nut job, are insults to the 9/11 families and to those who died. They deserve a legitimate full investigation.

I am a degreed mechanical engineer with more than 40 years of experience in the design of big hvac systems for large projects in private and government facilities. I took early retirement last year; however, I practice as a freelancer.
There is a lot to include in the discussion, however my main observation about the planes crashing into the WTC buildings (1&2 only, since 7 was not touched by any plane) is this: from what I understand the planes that crashed into those buildings have a fuselage that is about 40-50 feet in height. The floor by floor height of those buildings was roughly 12 feet (slab to slab). This means those planes must have encountered at least 3 levels of concrete floors in their horizontal path before disappearing into the building. Therefore, assuming that the perimeter shell and the columns did not put up any resistance to the penetrating aluminum fuselage, wouldn't one expect the horizontal concrete floor slabs to have shredded the plane in 3-4 slices at the initial impact? Those slices would have fallen outside of the building rather than penetrating it, as there was nothing standing between the planes and the free spaces inside the buildings. I would have imagined that at least one or two pieces of passenger luggage would have fallen off and down on the street below. But there was no sign of even small pieces of plane debris falling down before the explosions.

It would not be possible for 3 buildings to be completely bought down from 1/4 of the way up, all the way to the impact point, merely from an plane striking the buildings.Aside from this, it is clear that office fires could not, under any circumstances what-so-ever, bring down a building. It would be impossible for steel to be melted, even if under direct office fire FOR YEARS, as seen. It is absolutely clear that the truth is not being told as the Government has clearly stated that NO fuel, or explosives bought down the buildings.Something is not right here. If you take away all the conspiracy theories, it is so clear that something else has happened here and we are not being told.Where are the cockpit CVRs? Why is there evidence of the only footage available showing the planes going into the building challenged? Since the moment I saw the news video footage on that horrific day I have been confused about how such a symmetrical implosion could result from asymmetrical damage to a modern steel structure that was designed to withstand the impact of a 707 aircraft.I never thought much about building 7 until I saw this video, but watching it come down so perfectly it is clear that the scattered fires on the lower floors could not have triggered such destruction; I have enough structural engineering understanding to be certain of this.I have no idea how this was carried out, but it would need a team of highly skilled people with very sophisticated equipment to pull this off. This kind of project was very carefully planned and executed by professionals of the highest level. The biggest question I have is how the heck did they synchronize with the terrorists! I am sure that OBL would not knowingly cooperate with the government on this, so how did the two acts happen so perfectly together?

I have worked for years with various structural elements and analysis on a minor scale from rigging to support systems. I have seen destructive behaviors of metal due to fatigue and have also seen enormous strength as a result of proper techniques.
Steel supports do not telescope in on themselves unless they are subject to profound, even amounts of heat across the entire element. When I saw the buildings collapse on 9/11 I thought something seemed weird because of the neatness of the 'radical' destruction. Then building 7 came down and I felt sick to my stomach.

I have an Associates degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Virginia Western Community College of Roanoke Virginia, 1993. I have 4 years of experience (1993-1998) in transmission line surveying for American Electric Power out of Roanoke VA. From 1998 to the present, I've been an engineer technician designing 7.2 to 34.5 KV electric distribution facilities out of Lynchburg VA.
After viewing the 2 hour documentary on YouTube, I find it apparent that the NIST report was not fully forthcoming. Therefore, I stand with the 2000+ engineering professionals who are demanding a new, independent investigation into what caused the rapid collapse of the 3 World Trade Center towers.

Elemtary school, Gymnasium; 3.5 years study as a mechanical engineer. 2 years study as sales engineer; 1 year in London as an Import Engineer for German Machine tools; 6 years in Nigeria as a technical plant engineer including design, construction and installation of complete factories in various fields. Afterward, I am self employed in Germany and an advisor in various fields for companies exporting to Africa. Now retired, but still importing special food products from Sicily, Italy.
From my point of view it is impossible to fly passenger planes at the indicated speed in low level flights. It is impossible for the Towers to cave in free fall speed, without any added energy.
