On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I was educated with a broad understanding of mechanical, chemical, electrical, and structural engineering fundamentals. I have a basic understanding of concrete, timber, and steel design.
I initially accepted the heating-theory when the WTC buildings collapsed because it sounded plausible at first glance and I didn't feel any compulsion to examine or think about it any further. However, upon seeing Loose Change, Fabled Enemies, and listening to the makers of those videos in person and listening to Richard Gage in person and referencing it to my background in structures and thermal dynamics, it became apparent to me that this was yet another fiasco/cover up ala Oklahoma City. I even manufactured my own refutations of the official version for the layman: 1. If you pour any flammable liquid on a flat surface (like a beam), what is the hottest point? Answer: it's at the tip of the flame NOT at the base so all that fuel spilling randomly around the buildings could not possibly have melted/softened so much steel mass from such an uncontrolled fire (just pour some alcohol on a cement floor, light it, then put your finger inside the flame near the floor and then at the tip of the flame and compare the temps). 2. Heat dissipates rapidly in 3-dimensions so couldn't possibly have the focused or confined temps necessary to melt steel, most of it would be carried away by air. 3. Steel itself also dissipates heat rapidly so any heating that occurred at the site of the fire would immediately spread throughout the steel frame disallowing any temperatures hot enough to melt steel anywhere other than the site of the fire if at all. 4. Note how it conventionally requires an acetylene torch using PURE oxygen at a FOCUSED point using only the TIP of the flame to melt even a SMALL area of steel - the WTC buildings had only AIR (not pure O2), had DIFFUSE heat, and over a LARGE random area - how could anyone think that was sufficient to cause failure of even one piece of steel let alone the ENTIRE steel structure ?!? 5. Jets and cars burn their fuel continuously within confined steel enclosures yet I have never heard of them melting due to this heat. 6. Even if a steel building could collapse due to heat, with a RANDOM fire heating solid structural steel RANDOMLY, I would expect a RANDOM failure leaving some columns collapsed, some columns twisted, some columns bending off to the side, and many columns still standing straight up in the air - NOT a TOTAL crumbling collapse into a nice neat footprint into the ground! Only a planned and focused demolition using explosives set at key structural locations throughout the building could cause this. The fact that you don't need any sophisticated theories or secret evidence to prove this, and the fact that you can simply use everyday logic and experiences along with mainstream media's own videos to expose the falsity of their own pet explanation for 9/11 makes this petition a slam dunk - assuming it is presented to a logical, ethical, and receptive audience (oh, oh).

I knew from the start it was all a lie. The simple fact anyone could get weapons on board a plane was a clear signal they were meant to happen. Regular everyday people couldn't even get a full baby bottle on a plane, or even a cigarette lighter. Then the fact the planes were not intercepted. I'm a military brat, I know better.

I attended Stephen F. Austin State University after graduating from high school in Houston, but had to leave before I finished my degree. I've always enjoyed physics (and I did get an A in the last physics class I took), though since college my studies have been informal. And I've always been fascinated, too, by demolitions.
On 9/11, I watched on live television as two skyscrapers damaged by airplanes appeared to inexplicably transform into columns of rubble and dust, and then collapse into their own footprints. Eventually, I was able to watch the video of the towers collapsing without reacting emotionally, and I tracked down every piece of video I could find and watched. I also researched fires and their effects on buildings. From a physics standpoint, I don't believe the official explanation rings true. I have no doubts that the towers were brought down by more than the plane collisions and subsequent short-lived fires. When airliners go down, forensics experts spend years putting the pieces back together to discover why. When buildings burn down, investigators determine the cause(s). At ground zero in New York, all evidence was removed from the largest crime scene in our country's history and sent immediately overseas for recycling, leaving no possibility of investigation or forensic study. The Roberts Commission was appointed within a month after the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, to investigate and report the facts relating to the attack. The National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States, also known as the 9/11 Commission, was set up on November 27, 2002 - over a year and two months after the attacks - to prepare a full and complete account of the circumstances surrounding the September 11, 2001 attacks. I am not a physicist or an architect, but I feel certain that the 14-month wait and removal of all evidence before the commission began its work could only have led to a report that was based primarily on conjecture, and guesswork is not satisfactory in this instance. The commission report is flawed at best. A plane strike and 50-minute fire can not physically have been the sole causes of the demolition we all watched that day. Skyscrapers do not implode and drop straight down at the speed of gravity when a plane hits them and a fire burns for a few minutes. Whatever the truth is, we deserve to know.

As a highly technical person, I was a physics major at Harvey Mudd College of the Claremont colleges, then went on the obtain a B.A. in Music at Scripps/ Pitzer colleges also of the Claremont Colleges. It has from the beginning seemed to me that the destruction of the twin towers could not possibly have been caused merely by aircraft hitting the structures, or due to weakening by fire. It has seemed clear to me that 9/11 was some kind of treasonous inside job, deliberately planned and executed as a way of shocking the American people into supporting war with Iraq. It was an exact analogue of the Reichstag Fire which the Nazis were responsible for, although they blamed it on their political opposition in order to bolster their power. A deliberate setup. Most plainly, for building 7 to collapse entirely from a small fire, and fall absolutely straight down, showed every sign of a DELIBERATE CONTROLLED DEMOLITION, which HAD to have been put in place weeks in advance. I believe the official story is a whitewash and a cover-up of what really happened, and I want the real truth to come out. I believe very powerful explosives were used, and nano-thermite makes a lot of sense as a means to accomplish it. There is no other explanation for nano-thermite showing up in the dust of all three of the collapsed buildings...

The airplanes hitting the buildings seems the least likely scenario to cause this catastrophe, and the least likely explanation in spite of it being the official one. A building falling under a controlled demo and a building falling because of structural failure due to trauma to one very specific area of the building both fall with very different characteristics. It is clear to me, from the cumulative evidence provided from different sources, that controlled detonations were partly or wholly responsible for the collapse of WTC1, 2 and 7. The incident does not ring true from too many angles. The reticence to follow and conduct an investigation is troubling; appointing Henry Kissinger as the head of the committee, more troubling. Many unanswered questions from the stories emanating from the circumstances around the hijacking to why the FBI and NSA never followed up after listening to all of the conversations. Why was Louis Freeh so preoccupied with gathering more evidence on Clinton? Why did they arrange to get rid of John O'Neill by making his life hell when he was the best informed of anyone in the FBI about what had happened in Yemen and where it might lead, including the arrest of the hijackers. Why no follow up with the Phillipine Secret police? why did we do nothing with the evidence from 93? On and on the questions go. And why were we so quick to get rid of evidence from the WTC?

I am currently studying at the University of Southampton, UK for a Masters in Physics with Space Science which I feel has equipped me with not only some direct education on some discrepancies with the 911 report but also taught me how to think using the scientific method to come to conclusions about the world, something which I feel has not occurred in this instance.
Either the official accounts or the laws of physics are incorrect. The free fall of the towers without resistance shows that the support structure of all three WTC buildings was compromised to a point of non existence. The potential energy of gravitation is by no means enough to explain the observed phenomena.

This, we're told, is the first time a steel framed building collapsed from fire, and we had three in one day. What a coincidence. So why was the government in such a big hurry to haul off the evidence of what it characterized as a crime scene? This destruction of evidence was a violation of law. Why did Silverstein borrow money to take out a lease on the entire complex, if it needed over $1 billion in asbestos remediation, which no insurance company was willing to pay? Why the anomalous put option purchases on American Airlines and United Airlines days before the event? This pack of lies is the Achilles heel of the police state, and it must be exposed.

From many thousands of laboratory analyses, particular those on the heat content of jet fuel and hundreds of other flammable materials (measured inside steel containers), I have found no evidence that indicates in the slightest that the events of 9/11 occurred or were possible as the official news agencies proclaim and insist as true.

After careful consideration, the collapse of the twin towers and building seven could ONLY have been done by controlled explosives. As a trained pilot hearing that no hijacking call was carried out on the transponder just makes the real story more cloudy.

The buildings came straight down perfectly... Nearly uniform downward acceleration in the north tower. The persistent acceleration of the top section shows that some other source of energy was used to remove the structure below.

WTC 7 was already rebuilt in 2006; the new 52 floor Bldg. is supposedly able to handle 9/11 loads, But has this been independently verified ? The Old 47 floor WTC 7 fell @ free fall speed; how did this happen ?

After obtaining a degree in Physics with Space Science and Systems, I went on to work in research and development, designing microwave components for radar systems and telecommunications equipment. This was a cross-disciplinary field involving mechanical engineering, electronics, RF design, and computer programming. I have also worked using laser guided optics to investigate the structure of liquid crystals and software engineering in support of terahertz imaging equipment. At the moment, I am employed in a space robotics research group.
To my shame, I didn't question the official narrative of 9/11 until 2005. Since then, almost every aspect of this that I have looked into has turned out to be provably wrong, but the physical anomalies of that day are most compelling for me. The three buildings that collapsed - WTC1, 2 & 7 - are the only steel-framed buildings to have catastrophically and suddenly failed due to fire. There was no progressive, asymmetrical failure as one would expect, and the pulverisation of the concrete and forceful ejection of structural members clearly points to explosives. For the first 2+ seconds of building 7's fall, its rate of acceleration was indistinguishable from free-fall. This is absolutely impossible without controlled demolition!

I have seen no evidence to suggest that the impacts and explosions of the two aircraft that impacted WTC towers 1 and 2 were sufficient to cause their collapse into their own footprint. And, of course, there was no impact or other apparent reason for WTC tower 7 to collapse into its own footprint at a free-fall rate other than the probability of pre-positioned explosives.
