PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Just two (out of many) examples: 1. Building 7, a steel-framed, earthquake- sustainable, that collapsed with no apparent reason. 2. Three buildings, two were hit and one not, collapsed at the same perfectly symmetrical pattern, and all fell down at almost g-acceleration, collapsed into their footprint - a classical pattern of controlled demolition. The joint probability for those three independent events is almost null.

Based upon the visual and empirical evidence presented, as well as the nature of the technical information that is missing from official reports and studies that are critical to completely understanding the dynamics comprising the destruction of the WTC buildings, it appears very unlikely that all three WTC buildings could have collapsed in what appears to be identical fashions. The problems identified in the subsequent review and analysis of the collapsed structures (i,e., mysterious liquefying structural steel, unexplained reports of multiple explosions, catastrophic failure of lower level core structural supports, residue of explosive material at the building sites) raises numerous questions that warrant a more complete study. Further criminal and scientific investigation and testing appears to be fully warranted to resolve all of these issues. It is for these reasons that I fully support the objective of this petition.

I am qualified in the field of Physics and Astrophysics (BSc graduation in 2008 from Nottingham Trent University), and work as a software engineer (currently a Junior) in the Avionics industry. I have had an interest in 9/11 since the 11th of September 2001 (yes, the day it happened 😉 ) and I saw those first images go out live. I remember watching the TV in horror as the second plane impacted, and I remember everyone that day saying this feels like a disaster movie. Many a true word spoken in jest, and over the years it seems most people felt the same, and some even began to ask the unthinkable - what if it *WAS* a movie? The research began, and almost immediately, and continuously ever since, the holes in the official story began to show up. This by itself is enough for me, as a scientist, to call out for a new, independent investigation which looks at *ALL* possible theories. We live in the age of information - people are no longer satisfied by half-completed reports which claim to be iron-clad but hold absolutely no water when even the slightest bit of scrutiny challenges it. It just will not do anymore.
I have read countless articles, seen all the note-worth video documentaries, and taken part in many large debates on 9/11. I have heard almost every theory under the sun - some good, some not so good. My thoughts on this tragic event have, naturally, evolved and changed over time. One thing stands out quite clearly - the events of that day are still not fully understood. Under most circumstances, this would not be a problem, but as the events of 9/11 were used by the Bush Administration as a pretext for no less than 2 wars (Afghanistan, and then Iraq), and also to impose the Orwellian Patriot's Act on the American people (not to mention numerous other violations of freedoms in other countries - for example the ID Card/Database scheme here in the UK), this event really does need to be understood to its fullest extent. The one major concern I have above all others is the utterly unscientific manner of the NIST NCSTAR report on the tower collapses. It is utterly mind-boggling how such an official body can find no evidence - even in their own simulations - that temperatures reached anything more than around 300 degrees C, and then claim out of nowhere that the temperatures reached 1000C. I mean, is that *REALLY* what passes for science these days? And I wont even mention their results showing that the fires were not in one place for any more than 20 minutes before the fuel was consumed and they moved on. Such shoddy conclusions which don't even tally with their own data would be laughed at if it were to be presented in a court of law, so how come it's enough evidence to go to war with two countries and restrict the civil liberties of countless millions around the world? *THAT* is what frightens me the most about all this... it's just not cricket...

I have studied the events of 9/11 for years and realized it was our own government. I Have studied Physics on my own as a favorite hobby or past time for over 6 years. I am a well rounded musician, and plan on going to school to become Einstein so i can tell people the world isn't flat, but dimensional. I study everything i can get my hands on for at least 2-5 hours a day, and have worked in construction.

There are several issues that were not properly adressed or not addressed at all by the official investigations into the WTC collapses, most prominantly the strong evidence of the presence of huge quantities of nano thermite in the dust from the collapsed buildings, as found by stephen E. Jones and his research team, as well as the presence of large pools of molten iron found underneath the rubble of the structures. In light of this evidence, a new investigation must commence as soon as possible.

Though it is highly unlikely that the twin towers fell due to the impacts of the airplanes, it is however plausible. What is absolutely impossible is the collapse of building 7 due to a few small fires. Building 7 was a controlled demolition and given the time frames involved, the explosives used to initiate collapse must have been installed way in advance of the 9/11 incident.

From the day of 9/11/01, watching the destruction in real time at Xerox Corp in Rochester, NY, I stared at the TV, watching & listening to the news reports and live interviews with bystanders, victims, & first responders describe the horror of the colapse, first of one tower, then the second tower, and then the unbelievable collapse of BLG 7, all of which looked from all experiences of building take-down by explosive destabilization, it was easy to get caught up in the emotion of the horror and believe the fantasmical story told by the technically untrained passerbys and the news reporters eager to explain what happened. But within a few weeks, after various video analyses showed the improbability of the airplanes crashing into the two towers leading to the collapse of three towers, I gradually understood that the public story told by the patriotic newscasters as well as self-serving politicians was just that, a fable told as if true to generate (militarily) actionable bravado against a readily identifiable 'bad man', Osama bin Laden, in the defense of our nation. It became apparent to me that all the conspiracy theories put forth by the non-technically trained news media and their gullible & jingoistic public followers egged on by self-serving bureaucrats & politicians bending selected observations into a quasi-believable, to the technically untrained public & their news entertainers, but which was far from obviously true.Rather than the efforts of the government panel tasked with performing a careful technical study of the tragedy to understand 1) what happened; 2) how what happened caused the collapse of three buildings when only two were 'struck' by planes, or to follow all the available evidence where ever it took them to understand how whatever happened that tragic day, without speculating on who might have done it. That topic would necessarily be a separate investigation based on the outcome of the study of what & how what happened. But that was not to be. The committee investigating the 911 events were driven to assemble the data to support their assumed theory of the events. That is BAD SCIENCE.

My father (m.s. Environmental engineering) inspected high rise construction for fire & life safety, as well as blast companies. He said the jolt theory is implausible and structural fatigue due to fire would not cause the twin towers to completely implode as they did. As he provided oversight of several planned demolitions, he said the only believable and scientifically sound explanation, dubious university analysis and conclusions to the contrary notwithstanding, is that the twin towers and bldg 7 had to be planned demolitions. 9.81 m/s^s is free fall. Even simple analysis of WTC7 shows it is in free fall for a decent portion of time. Controlled demolition of that building, and misleading information in the NIST final report leaves enough doubt that an independent investigation is necessary.

I obtained both a four year degree in Physics, c. 1978, and Teaching Credential in Secondary Math and Science, c. 1979, at U.C. Berkeley. The truth of these collapses has been apparent to me from the beginning. Not having actually visited the site until October, 2001, I credit my even earlier (within hours) understanding to the investigative journalism of Jared Israel at emperors-clothes.com. At the time I was an avid reader of Isreal's for his unconventional take on our country's military involvement in Yugoslavia, my mother's parents being ethnic Serbs. If you folks need the services of a crack investigator, may I suggest Mr. Israel. I believe, but am not sure, that he lives in New York City.

I've known, since I was probably in kindergarten, about how buildings collapse and why they collapse, and what they look like when they collapse. I've studied plenty of physics and have an array of physics texts at my residence. I know many civil engineers and I watched the Kingdome being imploded on live television to make way for Safeco Field. There's only one way to pulverize concrete in a manner of seconds, and it's not dropping it using fire and gravity, you need explosives.
I believe that the North Tower is probably the most suspicious collapse because the upper 20 floors could not be held up by the bottom 90, which were completely unscathed. I find that impossible, not difficult, but impossible to believe. It completely violates the laws of physics. How does so many thousands of tons of concrete and steel get pile-driven into the ground, as made a good analogy in the video, like it doesn't even exist--and the even stranger part--it's being pushed down by an invisible force because the upper 20 stories are completely destroyed before the entire building comes down? Not logically or physically possible. Also, WTC7 is easily visibly demolished as the center middle of the building collapses first, as in all controlled demolitions, you need to take out the interior core columns first for the building to fall into itself. Otherwise it falls asymmetrically.

My review of numerous online available videos of the collapse of twin towers and WTC 7 on 9/11 is that they represent a near free fall into its foot print. This feature cannot be explained by pancaking of a building secondary to a push by weight above since it would reach a maximum speed of fall and then persist at that speed.

Government or the media have not provided enough compelling evidence for me to believe the WTC collapsed because of plane crash. I have also not seen any information on the passengers or their families who were traveling on the planes that crashed WTC. This makes me wonder if those were empty planes or simply some drones...

I had not seen the video's of the 9/11 tower's falling until about this time last winter (Dec. of '09 or Jan. of '10). I was very surprised at what I saw. I doubt that what occurred in New York on 9/11/01 (three times) could ever be repeated as a true result of office fires with or without jet fuel. An entirely open, public investigation must be performed given all of the evidence ignored by the NIST.

There is no logical manner by which any of the buildings, be it 1, 2, or 7, collapsed in the manner they did be it by fire and/or structural damage via commercial airliners. The structural damage caused by the planes, at most, would have resulted in asymmetrical shear in the buildings structure. At most: The result of this would not have been a footprint collapse of the entire structure, rather a dislodging of the section of the building above the damaged section. I liked to explain this by stating: These buildings were built from reinforced concrete and steel, NOT sculptors clay and Popsicle sticks.

Free fall is due to gravitation. In a controlled demolition, a building is sequentially segmented into pieces, which then can free fall on top of each other. Timing of a collapse as well as trajectory, as visible on ample video material, are strong indications that controlled demolition was indeed used in the event of 9/11.
