PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The results of the peer-reviewed study published in The Open Chemical Physics Journal, 2009, 2, 7-31 (link http://www.bentham-open.org/pages/content.php?TOCPJ/2009/00000002/00000001/7TOCPJ.SGM) contains clear scientific proof that unreacted nanothermite explosive fragments were found in the dust from the world trade center collapse. Methods used for analysis include optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, spectroscopy, and calorimetry. They witnessed and photographed triggered micro-explosions from the nanothermite fragments. These microexplosions produced the same heat and force output as laboratory nanothermite. The dust was sampled from four different locations soon after the collapses. One sample was collected about ten minutes after the collapses of WTC buidlings 1 & 2. All dust samples produced essentially the same findings. The unreacted explosive fragments can clearly be seen under low-power magnification, as photographs from the paper illustrate. This type of explosive is apparently untraceable, unlike most kinds of demolition materials. Eight different authors from universities and organizations around the world including Denmark, Utah, Indiana, Australia, Berkeley, Dallas contributed to this paper. This kind of science cannot be fudged. After reading this I became convinced that the reason for the clear and undeniable presence of explosive residue in the dust should be thoroughly re-investigated, espcecially since the NIST & FEMA reports did not even look for or mention these findings.

So many of our beliefs are given to us -- and never questioned. And many of these beliefs are myths. And many of these myths are not useful. We need to begin to wake up! At some point, our cognitive dissonance no longer allows us to not question our myths. The 9/11 myth, unfortunately, strikes me as another obvious forgery. While this is only one of the myths we need to abandon, it is, to me, a smoking gun. Our nation, and our decisions, need to be based upon an open analysis of data with integrity -- not myths. Ultimately, can a nation or people that places myth before truth be successful?

I have had doubts about the official investigation for about 9 years now. The more research I do into it, the more convinced I am that explosives were used. In actual fact, now I am 100% convinced that explosives were used on 9/11. There is no way a building i.e. Building 7, can fall at free fall speed for 10 floors, without explosives being used. The support columns offered no resistance at all to the fall, which is impossible, unless all the support columns in the building failed at exactly the same time!

I have studied mathematics and physics at Tulane University. I have taken numerous classes in mechanics and thermodynamics. I have also taught high school physics, and am now applying to both physics PhD and M.D. programs.
If a building collapses without assistance, all of the energy available for any sort of motion, pulverization, rotation, etc. is purely from the initial gravitational potential energy of the building. Building 7 fell at nearly perfect free fall acceleration for more than 2 seconds. This implies that if gravity were the only source of energy, all of the energy was being perfectly converted into the kinetic energy of the downward falling motion. By the conservation of energy, this leaves no energy to do the work of pulverizing the material, moving broken pieces around, rotational kinetic energy of the pieces, etc. I take this to be an argument of the form reductio ad absurdum using conservation of energy of the official story of the building's collapse. I am currently working on a lower bound reliable estimate of the energy that necessarily went into these other forms of motion and the pulverization of the concrete. This energy is not such that it could hide in the error of the free fall analysis. This is a large amount of energy, not a mere 1% but possibly on the order of the total gravitational potential energy. In short, the gravitational potential energy of the building was far less than what was quite clearly needed to both have the building fall at free fall (perfect conversion of all gravitational potential to kinetic energy) and to destroy the building as the destruction progressed. By physical necessity, using basic and known laws in a clear and obvious case, it has simply been PROVEN that there was a separate and very large input of energy beyond the mere gravitational potential energy of the building. There are many other issues, such as the high reliability of the identification of thermetic material in the rubble. There are several smoking guns in the story of Building 7. Physical theory is the most highly reliable theory available. If a valid and aptly used physical argument leads to a conclusion, no political ideas or feelings of what is 'historically or politically possible' have the epistemic authority to defeat these claims. 9/11 has simply been proven to be an inside job. There is no wiggle room, there is no error, there is no 'well what if'. It has been proven!

There is not a doubt in my mind that the official story is just plain wrong. If it is true, it defies physics and everything we thought we knew about buildings and their durability. It is easy for me to see which is false. What I don't like is how many are blind to the truth or simply don't care. What originally caught my attention was how neatly WTC7 fell. When seeing videos of it falling I thought straight away this can't be, this has to be near free-fall which I knew has never happened in a steel-frame house fire. It is clear that the official 9/11 report was incorrect in its judgment of the collapse of the Twin Towers (WTC1 and 2) in that they fell at almost free fall velocity with no evident resistance to collapse, fell symetyrically and with no residue of the center core columns remaining. The collapse of WTC7 later that day in exactly the same manner is not explained in the official 9/11 report. It is a matter of utmost urgency that this investigation be re-opened in the light of evidence that was excluded from the official report, including eyewitness statements of explosions in the Towers and analysis of debris.

It is just impossible. Open an investigation. Believe Nobel Prize winners and scientists instead of the media. If these scientists told you they found the cure for aging everyone would listen, even if the media said it was not true. We know what happened, now we just need to get loud about it.

I am foreigner PhD student at the Heidelberg University, Germany. And I do my PhD in the computational cosmology in Theoretical Astrophysics Group at the Heidelberg Institute of Theoretical Studies. In particular, I do the galaxy simulations and the simulations of the large scale structure formation. I got my Master degree from Abay University, Kazakhstan in 2006. I am 29 years old. Married.
It is not gravitational collapse caused only by the plane impacts and fire. Because the planes did not hit the core columns and there is no plausible way how the vertical core columns could be broken in the same moment of time because of office fire. As physicist I know that there is no way how the potential energy of the building 7 could be fully converted to the kinetic energy in the presence of a friction force like the force from the structural elements. It is only possible if all load-bearing elements were simultaneously destructed. There are no evidences and reasons how the office fire can do it synchronously. An additional reason which is really able to do this has to be involved in consideration. Since no official investigations of this third reason have been done, the new investigation is required. I personally support the guess that it could be the directed and synchronized explosions and cross-section cuts by thermite similar to the industrial controlled demolitions.

I am a future student of the Queensland University of Technology where I will be studying the Bachelor of Applied Science (Physics) full time.
How can three steel framed skyscrapers fall at nearly the rate of gravity into their own footprint due to fires not burning hot enough to even melt steel? This question alone makes me doubt the official story and I feel further investigations are necessary in order to uncover a much clearer picture of what happened on 9/11.

I was at RPI as a freshman (with junior status) in fall 2001. I went there on partial scholarship due to my mastery of AP physics and calculus. i have the SAT 2 scores to prove it: 800 physics/chem/math 5/5 AP physics C, AP Calc BC, AP Chem. I came home shortly after these tragic events.
Given my knowledge of physics, the government sponsored story of 9-11 is hogwash. I demand a criminal investigation into anyone who took government money to produce that report and call it scientific. A middle school science team could have produced better at I suspect .001% of the cost. First of all it's a textbook controlled demolition, the signs of nanothermite were clearly there and the evidence was eliminated ASAP. Also, there are EYE WITNESS accounts and even public photos that show the plane was not AA. It had an undercarriage. Did the terrorists attach a bomb to the plane with their box cutters? The smoke blinded the public from the obvious free-fall demolition of those two buildings.

I am a high school student. The reason I am joining this petition is because of the inconclusive evidence provided by the 9/11 commission report. As a student currently taking physics class, one doesn't have to be an engineer to understand that the official report's explanations are contradicting basic physics.
The thing that irks me the most is the government's unwillingness to conduct a proper investigation into one of the most important events in American history. The WTC 7 collapse had many signs of a controlled demolition. Silverstein's explanation for his famous pull-it quote was completely absurd. Material made of steel and concrete fused together was also found at the site of the events. Thermite, a chemical used to create fires at more intense heat, is the only explanation for this phenomenon. The bottom line is, there are too many unanswered questions that surround 9/11. We need a new investigation, especially for the families of the victims.

I am a married educated woman of 43 years of age. I studied psychology in college, but then opted to relocate with my fiancee to Iowa where he attended chiropractic school. I worked hard at various jobs to help support us while he focused on his degree. We have been married for almost 19 years and have two bright and gifted children. Learning for me has occurred just as much in the outside' world as it has in the classroom.
It is time for an authentic investigation and unveiling of inconsistencies surrounding this tragedy of EPIC proportions. Nothing about the collapse of the buildings makes sense in any scientific way.

I served 2 years in the army signal corps. I attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana for 5 years. I spent 33 years combined as a product design engineer in electronic organs and in gas and electric ranges.
I could not believe my eyes when I saw the buildings collapse but lacked the technical expertise to see through the smoke screen of the official report on the cause. However, I truly believe there should be an independent investigation into this criminal act and those found to be involved should be tried in a court which has no conflict of interest in the case.
