On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The acute similarity between the collapse of the twin towers and building 7 on 9/11/01 to typical controlled high-rise building demolitions simply does not allow me to accept the official United States government story. Further, it seems to me that the weakened areas of the buildings where the airplanes impacted, upon failing, would have caused the building structure above the point of impact to topple about the point of impact, rather than fall as a they did in the manner of a controlled demolition.

The collapse mechanism / sequence of all three buildings is of great interest considering that the official 'story' is that the superstructure of each of the buildings was damaged principally by fire and the in the case of the twin towers also in part by plane impact. In my opinion, as a professional engineer, these factors could only act to weaken the structures asymmetrically, which in turn would lead to asymmetric failure modes - ie at least some signs of toppling which when initiated would continue. Instead, the extensive footage from the day shows a complete, symmetrical drop in all three cases. This lack of asymmetry in all three failures coupled with the rate of failure (comparable to gravitational acceleration) suggest that the entire superstructure of all three buildings ceased to bear load almost instantaneously. From my knowledge of the US government reports, these issues are in no way dealt with. Other explanations, such as the possible role of pre-placed explosives, must be considered, as the official version is inadequate. In particular, the failure of Building 7 so closely resembles that of a controlled demolition it is extremely difficult for me simply accept that a number of fires within the building was the sole cause of it's collapse. The evidence presented by the remains of the collapsed buildings also requires careful consideration. The abundance of pulverized concrete and segmented steel beams /columns resulting from all three collapses is of particular interest. As a qualified engineer these are the principal issues which are of interest to me when considering the validity of the official explanation of the WTC collapses.

I have a Diploma in Building Control/Building Surveying and I am a retired Member of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers. I was employed within local authority building control and had responsibility for ensuring that building work within an area of central London complied with UK building regulations. My duties included checking plans submitted for building regulation approval and for inspecting the progress and quality of work on site. I have expertise in fire safety and had responsibility for the inspection and fire certification of buildings, the assessment of innovative structural fire engineered designs and the evaluation of prescriptive and non-prescriptive solutions for means of escape in case of fire.
It is beyond credibility for the twin towers WTC1 and WTC2 and for building WTC7 to have all collapsed in such an unpredictable and totally unprecedented manner. All three had failure characteristics which defy logical explanation unless controlled demolition is considered. The observed fire and impact loads have all been shown by independent professional investigation to be well within the design parameters of each building and that total collapse should not have occurred in any one of them never mind all three. It is time for politicians and the media to carry out their public duty and call for a new and impartial public investigation where all the evidence both for and against the official position can be seen and heard.

I am a 22 Year old Firefighter from eastern Canada. I have a Technical Certificate in Fire Rescue. I have studied the NFPA standards and essential skills of firefighting. Through my studies we covered the different types of building collapse, and we also touched on the different temperatures at which certain materials to fail and endanger fire personnel.
From my recollection and understanding, it takes a temperature of approximately 2000 degrees farenheit to melt steel. And I understand that jet fuel burns at a relatively low temperature. I do not believe that the evidence of molten steel at the WTC site coincides at all with the official report that jet fuel melted steel and caused the structures to collapse. I think this is a blatant lie and through my own personal research and videos posted by Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth... I believe there is NO possible way that these buildings could have collapsed from the fires alone. Regardless of arguments about the impacts of the planes and the effect that they may have had on the buildings strength. It takes nothing more than a bit of common sense to at the very least, question why WTC 7, simply collapsed with no resistance, at practically free fall speed WITHOUT the use of explosives. The collapse of Building 7 is a cause of great concern for myself and other firefighters I work with, and I feel like the official report is nothing more than an insult to the intelligence of people in the United States and Canada, and all over the world. This should be thoroughly researched and I believe the people of the world have the right to know the true reasons behind why these buildings came down, and why the public was fed a phony explanation to begin with. I wonder to myself, how could we possibly have a fire hot enough to melt steel, but not hot enough to incinerate the passport of one of the alleged hijackers?

I would like to introduce myself so that you can get a feeling for who I am. You should know up front that I have never even been charged with a crime and I do not have a police record. I have worked all my adult life even after being diagnosed with leukemia in April, 2006. I am a veteran of the Regular Army Infantry 1976 through 1979 and received an Honorable discharge. I received a good citizenship award from the Mayor of an Indiana town. I donated money to the Red Cross after 9/11, and when the tornadoes tore through our town, I and my wife and son using our truck worked into the night helping those that lost their homes. I was watching live as the second plane hit the south tower and when the buildings started falling I questioned how this could be, but then came the jet fuel explanation, and I, like everyone else I talked to, accepted the improbable, because I could not think of any other explanation. Having been a USAF firefighter I trained with JP-4 in Pit Fires. The mock airplanes we used were made of steel and not one time did they melt or even distort, JP-4 or 5 does not get hot enough for that to happen. We used them repeatedly. As a structural Firefighter for a municipality, I was almost killed by a collapse of a second floor of a commercial building. I have seen collapse, we trained on Lean To and Pancake collapses etc. The Twin Towers fit none of the criteria. I have never seen an ordinary construction collapse which pulverize all the concrete. The Towers exploded as can be seen in the videos.

Extensive building and engineering experience, prior to obtaining my Teachers Certificate at age 31. Subsequent to teaching for about fifteen years, I went back to applying my skills in the general work force until retirement.
It is not possible for any building, let alone steel framed, to collapse at near free fall acceleration, unless it is deliberately demolished. Even then there are usually delays/resistance and never have buildings 'dustified' in a pyroclastic way, like WTCs 1 & 2. Considering that no aircraft hit WTC 7, the NIST report makes no sense with any of the buildings in fact, but especially WTC 7, which NIST hardly mentioned. Ultimately those really responsible must be held to account, but first a new investigation must happen.

Like most of us, I was overwhelmed and struggled to take it all in and analyze the facts. The way the WTC Towers 1 & 2 fell, sooo perfect! right straight down, one after the other. As a trained firefighter, I knew that buildings on fire did not behave like this, especially oxygen starved fires (indicated by black smoke and confirmed by firefighters in WTC towers). Communication from firefighters to the truck indicated that the fires could be contained with one hose. - - WTC7, had a completely different structural design, yet it fell at free fall speed, despite never being hit by a jet. There was the destruction of evidence, loaded up onto trucks, dumped into a barge, shipped off to China and melted down. - - Now we have the 9-11 Commission report stating: WTC 1 & 2 were built with insignificant hollow steel tubing. What about WTC7? Can one find a photo of this (hollow steel tubing) ? - - Whenever I do a search for WTC core columns I find photos from the New York museum of history of a series of 47 massive steel columns with a base of 54 x 22 and 5 thick narrowing down to 36 x 12 and 2 thick near the top.

I have studied structural integrity and design when dealing with fire. I have never believed the official story of 9/11, that Iraq had WMD's, or the narrative that Al Qaeda is a major threat to the citizens of the U.S. I wrote to many friends and family before the invasion of Iraq my apprehension and called George Bush out for lying to perpetrate this horrendous act of violence and murder.
The blatant cover-up and lies over the destruction/demolition of the Twin Towers is offensive to anyone who has been presented the evidence. Their are too many citizens who would rather hide their head in the sands of Arabia than believe that their government is capable of this treasonous act on them. WTC 7, and both Twin Towers were brought down in a controlled demolition, for reasons I do not understand. However, that does not mean I have lost my voice from fear. The world was united after these attacks and there was a moment of true global unity, but that was not on the agenda.

The official explanation for the WTC 7 collapse defies the law of physics. For a 47-story skyscraper to fall at near free fall speed into itself symmetrically the way it did on 9/11 would require sophisticated controlled demolition. WTC 7 if in Buffalo, NY would stand as the tallest skyscraper in the city. A steel structure like that does not implode and collapse from office fires.

It is very evident that at the very least, Building 7 was brought down on purpose and the Pentagon was not struck by a plane. That said, you have to question the rest of the attack as to whether someone was complicit in our government with bringing those three Towers down.

No way those Towers collapsed coming down in freefall speed. When I first saw it I knew it just wasn't right but didn't want to believe what I believe now. Steel melting when temperatures could never have reached the melting point. The list just goes on and on!

I do not have any experience in building demolition, but I am an EMT student and have been touched by 9/11 just like any American.
It is unfathomable to believe Building 7 collapsed by fire. I've seen countless documentaries about 9/11 and have concluded that the government, based on many accounts of false-flag attacks, are a part of the demolition of 9/11. If they weren't, why did they take over a year to make an official investigation into 9/11? Why should we believe our government without any provable facts? I am sick and tired of these wars based on a lie and it needs to be shown to the world how corrupt our government is and it needs to be stopped.

I've been a full time fire sprinkler system layout technician since 1997. Before that, I spent 4 years in the active duty Air Force.
I've known that these collapses were due to forces other than the plane impacts and resulting fires ever since I became aware of the official reason being a pancake collapse. The cartoonish animations were an insult. I also saw that it was an outright deception. It played upon the average person's assumption that the bulk of a building's structure is contained in the floors. It fails to even show that massive ground to roof vertical columns support the building's floors like a spine holds ribs. If ribs fell from the spine, would the spine collapse down into itself at the rate of the falling ribs? Using the name pancake in itself is almost criminal because of the image that it creates. Although I guess if you're going to feed the public something, you might as well name it after something yummy! Due to this website and documentary, my faith is renewed that people will awaken and see with their minds what their eyes have been seeing all along. Oh, and Building 7 is so blatantly obvious that it doesn't even warrant comment other than this comment saying it doesn't warrant comment. The sheer obviousness of Building 7 is a joke that will either make you laugh or cry. Either way, we're the punchline.

From when I first viewed the Towers' fall live on TV I knew there was something not right. I have told everyone I have talked to about this that the Towers fell way too fast and had an explosive appearance the way the buildings spread out in the collapse or fall.. I also knew that the structural steel used in buildings would have withstood the heat from the fire and would not SHEER the way they appeared to. Then I saw the molten steel and viewed it on TV in the basement clean up. I knew then that there was something not being told.. I was shocked to find out all the steel taken from the site went straight to the wharf and was shipped to China denying all investigations into the actual structural failure. If I looked into I'll bet there is a trail into the sale of all that steel somewhere in China!

I feel it needs to be looked into. Being that I worked construction for 14 yrs, and was a USFS fire fighter for 7 yrs, the buildings that collapsed, in my opinion, was a controlled demolition.

Definitely what happened from beginning to end was pre- planned and the buildings were destroyed by demolition, not by the aircraft. Also Building 7 was beyond any doubt demolished by explosives. The explosives had to be set quite a while in advance meaning one thing that it was preplanned and an act of treason by the people involved. Traitors that killed about 3400 people, not including the Firefighters and Police. The investigation was a farce. From disturbing a crime scene to falsifying records. The ball was seriously dropped by many who were in charge. All are traitors and should pay. From the very top of our leadership down to the false investigators. It really blows my mind how blatant they were about covering up the whole thing. Amazing that they still have not been brought to justice from the President, NIST, FBI and any other agencies involved.

I'm retired from the US Army Corps of Engineers. I was an Air Force pilot and flew fire control aircraft for the West Virginia Forestry Division and surveillance aircraft for the Corps of Engineers. I was a flight instructor in fixed wing aircraft. I'm 75 years old.
I don't have a professional background in the disciplines necessary to investigate the destruction of the WTC buildings or the Pentagon. Nonetheless, I have a science background with enough training in chemistry and physics to understand the data presented by independent investigators such as David Chandler. I think the official story is bogus.
