On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Early in my career I worked in the chemical industry. For the last nearly 20 years I have worked in aerospace. I am a member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, as well as a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
In January 2004 I stumbled on a web site that showed evidence that the WTC buildings were brought down by controlled demolition on 9/11. It is clear that the buildings had help to bring them down. The collapses of WTC towers 1 and 2 were obviously far more energetic events than can be explained by some sort of progressive gravitational collapse initiated by a simple weakening of the structure by hydrocarbon fire. Here I am thinking of the tremendous dust clouds (pyroclastic flows) and the nearly free fall speed. Building 7, not hit by a plane, appears to have been a classic controlled demolition, and perfectly symmetrically executed.

The physical evidence does not match the story provided for the collapse. A building that 'falls' does not leave behind clean cut metal beams. Tower 7 was not impacted yet collapsed and this is impossible. Some initial witnesses reported hearing explosions prior to the impacts of the planes. This entire thing stinks.

"Ever since the moment that I witnessed the towers coming down, I knew there were other devices than just two planes hitting them. Although the average eye sees total devastation when something like this occurs, my reaction was, and I will quote my own statement, ""That was a beautiful disaster"". I did not say this to mean it was beautiful in a good way, I meant that it seemed choreographed to the point where only the buildings came down and nothing else, and it seemed to not be 'imploded' but exploded in an intricate fashion. By design, it also seemed there was at least some compassion for the rest of the city so that limited people would be involved. That fact alone shows a possible inside job or task. I also noticed that there was absolutely NO resistance when those buildings fell. I knew there was more to this in those few seconds. To keep it brief, just watch what I watched on the morning of 9/11. Perhaps I pay more attention than most people, or perhaps because I study history, or perhaps because my dad was an engineer, or maybe I just look at things more realistically than most do, but regardless I still can't see why it's not obvious that those buildings were brought down with explosives. Yes the aircraft damaged them, but not nearly bad enough to cause them to suddenly collapse.

As an American citizen and former US Army soldier that deployed in Afghanistan, it is now my belief that the official story of 9/11 is inaccurate and new evidence implicating the use of explosives and thermite demands a full and honest re-investigation of the events that happened prior, during, and post 9/11.
