To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Earlier in my career, I have worked for a City government for 3 years and two different industries. For the last 34 years, I am engaged in my own Engineering firm. Even though my degree and my specialty is electrical, most of my work and income relates to the structural discipline (within expertise limits -- i.e., no high rises, schools, parking structures, etc.) I've worked with and can deal with all materials: soils, wood, masonry, reinf. concrete, steel, aluminum. I've even done forensics; 1 elect., 2 struct.
Well, I haven't read the official report. But I have watched many of the conspiracy theory videos. Also, I distinctly remember, nearly 9 years ago on the news report(s), the symmetrical collapse of BOTH towers, then the very underplayed (by comparison to the towers) PERFECTLY SYMMETRICAL collapse of Building 7. I thought at the time of controlled demolition and, by extension, an inside job. The gov's intent is to move on, but too many unresolved issues deserve proper focus, before all die.

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in architecture from the Oxford School of Architecture, Oxford, UK. I then moved back to the US to work as an apprentice in the Master of Architecture program at the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, Scottsdale AZ. During this time, my interest in the connection between landscape and architecture grew. After spending a year as an apprentice, I met a multidisciplinary designer named Pliny Fisk in Austin, Texas. I then moved to work with Pliny on the Texas A&M solar decathlon project, and I eventually attended Texas A&M where Pliny was signature faculty in the architecture department. While completing my Masters degree in architecture, I constructed my off grid shelter in Tuscola, Texas near where I grew up. I also collaborated with numerous architects and designers on award winning building projects around the world. Since that time, I have continued to work on projects at a variety of scales and types with an emphasis on connecting buildings and people to places with design. I'm currently a project designer at Laguarda Low Architecture and Planning in Dallas, and owner of Taproot Studio: a residential and commercial design practice.
To AIA members who voted down AIA Resolution 15-6: Why wouldn't you investigate a circumstance indicating that current best practices in steel building construction are endangering the lives of everyone in and around the building? How could you assert that you are upholding the reasonable standard of care if NIST says that low temperature fires in steel buildings can and do lead to free fall collapse scenarios as seen in Building 7? While some of you may suspect that NIST is being deceptive, you may view the incidents of 9/11 as disconnected with your own life and practice. If so, you're wrong there. If you let building 7 go uninvestigated, you set the stage for a repeat scenario (and in so doing fail to uphold the professional standard of care), as it could be your building next. We don't know how to safeguard against the real threat until we investigate a circumstance and determine the cause. Anyone with university level education in architecture in the U.S. has no excuse for not demanding an investigation into the collapse of WTC 7 in the interest of improving design factors and codes for steel construction.

I love winnowing out the truth of everything that happens and working hard to do it. I exercise when I get a chance to stay in shape and keep the stress off and I am a Christian who loves this country and the freedoms that we are entitled to.

I am retired from Saudi Aramco where I was a Loss Prevention Engineer for 12 years. I conducted several major industrial investigations at Saudi Aramco. Previously I was an investigator with a forensics engineering firm in Kingwood, TX (1993-1997), a research engineer with Amoco in Naperville, IL (1985-1992), and a design engineer with UOP in Des Plaines, IL (1972-1981). I was always more skeptical about the collapse of WTC7, i.e., as compared with WTC1&2 which pancaked down. WTC7 seemed essentially whole in its upper floors, as it fell, indicating failure of support columns lower in the building. However, after reviewing ae911truth films, I'm now no longer so sure about WTC1&2, i.e., thermite/thermate evidence. I certainly would support an unbiased thorough investigation. I would volunteer to be on it, but I have a strong bias after my years in the Middle East, i.e., very much anti-Israel, which could hurt the investigation.

I measured on one hand the duration of collapse of the towers ( t1 ) and calculated on the other hand the duration of fall of an object on a height equal to that of the towers ( t2 ). My result is that t1 < t2. I can explain it only by emitting at least the following 2 hypothesis: - floors set no resistance during the fall (this hypothesis alone would lead to the result t1=t2), - the fall of towers was accelerated by the existence of depressions create in the building during its fall.

I am a former Marine Sergeant and watched the twin towers collapse on television from Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina. I later ended up being deployed to Iraq not having any idea that nearly everything we were doing was based on extremely questionable pretenses.
Until about a year ago I was disgusted by people who did not accept the conventional wisdom about 9/11 and even cursed out and belittled a professor for voicing his opinion on the matter. But when I started researching these events for myself it became very clear that we the people were being intentionally misled. I am a disabled 49 year old 12-year Army veteran. My field of expertise was in communications, so I can only use my high IQ (153) to examine the evidence and arrive at a possible conclusion. I worked with some welders on the Burlington Northern Railway & they introduced me to thermal welding then. Why couldn't that type of steel weakening happen for 911? That whole incident with all the buildings that came down the way they did were imploded from the steel framework inside. The media only made us all believe it their way. That is, not all of us will believe it their way! Hopefully there will be a new investigation to see what really happened!

Construction Electrician since 1981, obtained master certificate in 1988, have built wind towers in Iowa and Minnesota, ethanol plants in Iowa, hospitals, a jail, gas stations, office buildings, apartment complexes and various other living type buildings. A former marine I am interested in learning about the collapse of the buildings and about the atrocities that are perpetrated against military people.
I find it very difficult to believe those building collapsed from nothing more that those two airliners crashing into buildings that were built to withstand plane crashes with planes that size and traveling at much higher speeds. It is a travesty that there has never been a real investigation into the causes of the building collapses and that the actual culprits who are behind the deaths of those people who died as a result of the buildings collapsing and the aftermath thereof have not been located and appropriately prosecuted.

Fox News did an important investigative piece on all the foreign spy operations in the United States prior to 9/11. Dan Rather said a van load of explosives was found near the George Washington Bridge on 9/11/01. The FBI interrogated four foreigners from Urban Moving Systems who were celebrating the attacks on 9/11, filming them, behaving suspiciously, and later claimed to be documenting the event. They also failed numerous polygraph tests. All of this needs to be investigated including the decisions to send them home without charges filed. The demolitions of the buildings, that's just obvious.

I grew up on a small farm in Western NY majored in applied agricultural engineering at Cornell University. I have used electric arc and oxy-acetylene welders to repair and rebuild machines and fabricate items. I served as a Naval Officer during the Vietnam era, 1968-1970. I used my G.I. Bill educational entitlement to complete 5 years of general humanities studies at the University of Heidelberg in Germany.
When the 2nd aircraft hit the South Tower and inertia could be seen to have carried, what appeared to have been, the bulk of the aircraft fuel load through the building, whereupon the fuel could then be seen to erupt in a huge fireball outside the building on the side opposite the site of impact, I immediately felt that the claim that the building was brought down as a result of fire-induced failure of structural steel was without merit. Furthermore, I believe that the controlled demolition of the South Tower ensued first, even though struck last, because the fires were disappearing and thus threatening with invalidity the claim of fire-induced collapse.

I joined the armed forces after 9/11 as did a lot of friends I knew. most joined on the premise that we we attacked by evil on 9/11. as time went by no good evidence of WMD's popped up and I knew then if they can lie about something that has killed tens of thousands it is quite possible that they could have lied about committed those heinous acts on that day.
NIST didn't get samples from the molten meta because they said it was of little significance. To me that is akin to not taking semen samples from a rape victim and saying it is of little importance. Only a new investigation can help us figure out what happened and who really did it.

I think there is something very strange about the polymerization of very strong materials in the collapse and the ejection of incredibly heavy objects.I also find the eyewitnesses hearing various explosion very credible.I'm no expert but there is something very ominous about what took place and I believe the truth is being skewed.

I have always felt the falling of the WTC buildings looked like a controlled demolition. The fact that so many respected professionals agree leads me to believe it is highly probable. The basis of the Constitution of the United States of America is rooted in truth and equality. All American citizens have the right to seek the truth. Common men, professionals, intellectuals alike. I strongly support the petition to Congress to initiate an independent investigation into the 3 WTC High-rise collapses on 9/11.

After watching the two hour documentary I believe the science is clear that the buildings were brought down by controlled demolition and the use of Thermite. The official explanation is not sufficient and does not even address the actual total collapses, only the initiation of collapse. It is clear that a truly independent investigation should be opened up. The American people DO have a right to know!

I was suspicious from the very moment they fell. It seems counter-intuitive that a building will fall within it's footprint without a controlled demolition. And, I find it hard to believe that a building will fall while remaining perfectly upright.

I was a Vietnam era veteran having served in the US Air Force from '71 to '76. In my working career, I was a software engineer and IT Architect for 33 years with the IBM Corporation. I have worked on operating systems development (System 38), network management standards specification, and applications software development. I finished my career working as overall IT architect for a major strategic outsource of the IT infrastructure of a US State.
In 2006 I saw a CSPAN presentation of the 911 Truth Movement. Dr. Stephen E. Jones was one of the presenters on the panel. I was riveted by his presentation. Prior to this I had assumed the official story was true. After hearing Jones, I pursued the truth. The more I learned, the more it became clear that the three WTC buildings were taken down by controlled demolition. The evidence is overwhelming. I am dismayed that the truth is taking so long to emerge. It is clear that powerful and truly evil forces are behind the perpetration of these crimes. They must be brought to justice.

On September 11th 2001 I came into work to find my co-workers gathered around the company tv's watching events that day in New York ... people were shocked, emotion was high, expectation that the country would retaliate was in the air ... and then the buildings fell and my first comment was that it looked exactly like a controlled demolition because the buildings collapsed neatly into their footprints and that is not what happens when buildings are bombed, burned, or shaken by earthquakes ... buildings in Hiroshima and Nagasaki were still standing after the bomb was dropped ... shrug ... now that professionals confirm my first feeling regarding the WTC collapse I feel my duty is to join them in calling for a real inquiry into that event.

Having taught the use and effects of 90mm tank shells, shape charges, small rockets and 4.2 mortar shells, I have seen the same effects on heavy armor tanks like the squibs shown in some aired videos - the flying of metal parts away from the impacted areas. I have only seen buildings deliberately brought down on earlier videos of casino controlled destruction in Las Vegas, NV.
