PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I read the FEMA September 2002 report, prepared by the American Society of Civil Engineers, and initially accepted their theory of the collapse of WTC 1 and 2. As more information became available on the web, I was motivated to research the subject in a more rigorous manner. I have carefully studied the Jones 2006 paper, 'Why Indeed Did the WTC Buildings Completely Collapse?' and concluded that it is a rational step-by-step study that met the acceptable standards for scientific building research. His critical reviews of the FEMA, NIST, and 9/11 Commission reports are correct. I have signed his petition calling for the release of all U.S. Government-held information regarding the events of 9/11/2001. Richard Gage and Steven Jones's call for a serious investigation of the hypothesis that the WTC 7 and the Twin Towers were brought down, not just by impact damage and fire, but through the use of pre-positioned cutter-charges, must be a rallying cry for all building design experts to speak out. They are following in the footsteps of Dr. Linus Pauling of the California Institute of Technology, who rallied his fellow scientists to oppose the development of the Hydrogen Bomb and the testing of nuclear weapons. He was later awarded the 1962 Nobel Peace Prize for these efforts.

I started my working career as a piano technician. I went through the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard Machinist Apprenticeship. Later got a BS in Mech E from Seattle University, then spent 4 years with Boeing as a Liaison engineer in the Wing Responsibility Center. The NIST scenarios are not believable. The WTC 1 collapse is equivalent to crushing two US Nimitz class nuclear carriers in 10 seconds, given that they have about the same amount of structural steel. It's simply not possible. The NIST explanation for the WTC7 collapse is even more ludicrous. Their model shows massive failure at the back of the building, but somehow that doesn't distort the glass windows on the front of the building. I used Working Model 2D to model the effects of the conservation of momentum on WTC1. It showed that the upper stories would be significantly slowed by impact with the lower stories, adding several seconds to a free fall collapse, which takes it outside of the actual collapse time. Ergo, the lower floors were already falling when they were hit by the upper floors. Frankly, I'm extremely disappointed by the almost total lack of curiosity displayed by most of my working colleagues over the years. Lots of really smart guys who lacked the courage to ask a few rather obvious questions.

I am a former Marine Sergeant and watched the twin towers collapse on television from Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina. I later ended up being deployed to Iraq not having any idea that nearly everything we were doing was based on extremely questionable pretenses.
Until about a year ago I was disgusted by people who did not accept the conventional wisdom about 9/11 and even cursed out and belittled a professor for voicing his opinion on the matter. But when I started researching these events for myself it became very clear that we the people were being intentionally misled. The Penn field crash why did the director of the morgue say, when called back there were no bodies or pieces. Bodies do not disintegrate in plane crash, was the plane going the speed of light? The government and media are in a big circle to spin the untruth and if anybody talks about it they are blacklisted, like Rosie O Donald, there has been many more fired and threaten. I am a disabled 49 year old 12-year Army veteran. My field of expertise was in communications, so I can only use my high IQ (153) to examine the evidence and arrive at a possible conclusion. I worked with some welders on the Burlington Northern Railway & they introduced me to thermal welding then. Why couldn't that type of steel weakening happen for 911? That whole incident with all the buildings that came down the way they did were imploded from the steel framework inside. The media only made us all believe it their way. That is, not all of us will believe it their way! Hopefully there will be a new investigation to see what really happened!

Construction Electrician since 1981, obtained master certificate in 1988, have built wind towers in Iowa and Minnesota, ethanol plants in Iowa, hospitals, a jail, gas stations, office buildings, apartment complexes and various other living type buildings. A former marine I am interested in learning about the collapse of the buildings and about the atrocities that are perpetrated against military people.
I find it very difficult to believe those building collapsed from nothing more that those two airliners crashing into buildings that were built to withstand plane crashes with planes that size and traveling at much higher speeds. It is a travesty that there has never been a real investigation into the causes of the building collapses and that the actual culprits who are behind the deaths of those people who died as a result of the buildings collapsing and the aftermath thereof have not been located and appropriately prosecuted.

It was always beyond credible belief that the Trade Tower's metal structure failed in such way to fall into itself in nearly a free-fall manner. The Tower's structural failures defy physical laws and principles that are well known and established.

Fox News did an important investigative piece on all the foreign spy operations in the United States prior to 9/11. Dan Rather said a van load of explosives was found near the George Washington Bridge on 9/11/01. The FBI interrogated four foreigners from Urban Moving Systems who were celebrating the attacks on 9/11, filming them, behaving suspiciously, and later claimed to be documenting the event. They also failed numerous polygraph tests. All of this needs to be investigated including the decisions to send them home without charges filed. The demolitions of the buildings, that's just obvious.

I have used electric arc and oxy-acetylene welders to repair and rebuild machines and fabricate items. I served as a Naval Officer during the Vietnam era, 1968-1970. I used my G.I. Bill educational entitlement to complete 5 years of general humanities studies at the University of Heidelberg in Germany.
When the 2nd aircraft hit the South Tower and inertia could be seen to have carried, what appeared to have been, the bulk of the aircraft fuel load through the building, whereupon the fuel could then be seen to erupt in a huge fireball outside the building on the side opposite the site of impact, I immediately felt that the claim that the building was brought down as a result of fire-induced failure of structural steel was without merit. Furthermore, I believe that the controlled demolition of the South Tower ensued first, even though struck last, because the fires were disappearing and thus threatening with invalidity the claim of fire-induced collapse.

I joined the armed forces after 9/11 as did a lot of friends I knew. most joined on the premise that we we attacked by evil on 9/11. as time went by no good evidence of WMD's popped up and I knew then if they can lie about something that has killed tens of thousands it is quite possible that they could have lied about committed those heinous acts on that day.
NIST didn't get samples from the molten meta because they said it was of little significance. To me that is akin to not taking semen samples from a rape victim and saying it is of little importance. Only a new investigation can help us figure out what happened and who really did it.

I think there is something very strange about the polymerization of very strong materials in the collapse and the ejection of incredibly heavy objects.I also find the eyewitnesses hearing various explosion very credible.I'm no expert but there is something very ominous about what took place and I believe the truth is being skewed.

I have always felt the falling of the WTC buildings looked like a controlled demolition. The fact that so many respected professionals agree leads me to believe it is highly probable. After watching the two hour documentary I believe the science is clear that the buildings were brought down by controlled demolition and the use of Thermite. The official explanation is not sufficient and does not even address the actual total collapses, only the initiation of collapse. In 2006 I saw a CSPAN presentation of the 911 Truth Movement. Dr. Stephen E. Jones was one of the presenters on the panel. I was riveted by his presentation. Prior to this I had assumed the official story was true. After hearing Jones, I pursued the truth. The more I learned, the more it became clear that the three WTC buildings were taken down by controlled demolition. The evidence is overwhelming. I am dismayed that the truth is taking so long to emerge. It is clear that powerful and truly evil forces are behind the perpetration of these crimes. They must be brought to justice.

On September 11th 2001 I came into work to find my co-workers gathered around the company tv's watching events that day in New York ... people were shocked, emotion was high, expectation that the country would retaliate was in the air ... and then the buildings fell and my first comment was that it looked exactly like a controlled demolition because the buildings collapsed neatly into their footprints and that is not what happens when buildings are bombed, burned, or shaken by earthquakes ... buildings in Hiroshima and Nagasaki were still standing after the bomb was dropped ... shrug ... now that professionals confirm my first feeling regarding the WTC collapse I feel my duty is to join them in calling for a real inquiry into that event.

Having taught the use and effects of 90mm tank shells, shape charges, small rockets and 4.2 mortar shells, I have seen the same effects on heavy armor tanks like the squibs shown in some aired videos - the flying of metal parts away from the impacted areas. I have only seen buildings deliberately brought down on earlier videos of casino controlled destruction in Las Vegas, NV.
