PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Without insisting on a thorough explanation of what transpired on 9/11, the AIA simply cannot claim to represent the architectural profession. - - - - I didn't see video footage of the collapses until 2005. At that point I spent months searching the web for more information. At the end of the day, the deliberate demolition is obvious. The reasons for doing so are incomprehensible - which is why many people refuse to acknowledge reality. The reality however, is that multiple crimes were committed, and crimes need to be investigated and the criminals brought to justice. They never were in Iraq.

So many things I have heard and seen about the destruction of the twin tower buildings, I did not understand. I thought my material science and building construction lectures set me up pretty well with all the principals if not all the mathematics. So how come the buildings just dropped like a stone? Why didn't they fall sideways? The planes did not hit dead centre! and they hit more columns on one side! Why does the mast on top of the building start collapsing before the top deck? Why does the top of the building just start breaking up straight away? Why does it not move as one piece above where the planes hit? Why was there so much dust, billowing clouds,surely not including asbestos? Then they fall down in less than 3 hours? (approx 80minutes and 120minutes) Whats wrong with the Fireproofing? What sort of fuel burns hotter than diesel or petrol also stored in these buildings? What destroys the fireproofing and melts steel, not just makes it sag. Why Molten Metal in the basements weeks after the collapse? Whelen the Wrecker men with boots too hot to wear? Despite continually flooding the basement the fires continue to burn without oxygen. Then a third 47 Storey WTC building fell, again dropping like a stone, despite only being hit by the main tower only on one side. In the Towering Inferno movie the building stays up, time for people to get out despite chaos. We as architects and engineers need to know how to stop the next terrorist plane knocking down one of our buildings.

And I didn't remember anything about a building 7. Just recently (summer of 2011) I accidentally heared something about chemicals found in the buildings debris, which were'nt supposed to be there. I started watching one documentary after another, didn't sleep much for days and learned that almost everything spread by the official media is just rubbish. I felt I had to participate in helping to reveal the truth in a sober and fact-based way. It was engineers like myself, who are used to working with facts rather then assumtions etc. , that helped me join AE911Truth.

I have witnessed controlled demolitions in the past and at my first inclination of watching in present time as the plane struck and then the world trade center building collapse that it resembled a controlled demolition. After getting over the shock of such an incident I was convinced that the buildings were brought down intentionally into what is called their foot print.
Since there were dozens of witnesses, fire fighters as well as citizens who told of explosive devices going off; and then architects and engineers backing up what I was sure of; I was more convinced than ever it was an inside job. I examined material on the internet very closely about Building 7 and the alleged cause was by fires when it was 300 feet from the Twin Towers and I was more convinced than ever it came down by a controlled demolition. How can anyone deny the facts presented by over 1000 Scientists over the political explanations by politicians? It is ludicrous.

After receiving his Bachelor of Architecture Cum Laude from the University of Southern California, Alan worked for a number of private architectural firms in the Los Angeles area before moving to Washington, DC, to serve as a hospital architect for the U.S. Public Health Service. There's simply too much to ignore or dismiss. Conjecture about the US Government being involved in the destruction on September 11th, 2001 is insensible, and ignoring new questions and scientific evidence is equally insensible.

The visual inconsistency of a so called collapse of the structures is simply not compatible with official explanations of the clearly intentional demolition of the Trade Center buildings. Examinations of the dust and other residue, as well as the molten steel left after the explosions, destroys the credibility of our governments position and defense of the 9/11 report. This is not assigning blame or explaining the occurrence but it is saying that the governments' portrayal is simply a very flawed explanation and a conspiracy theory that is untenable.

Pre Engineering in High School, began an Architecture track in College, joined the Army Engineers-EOD-Explosive Ordinance Disposal (worked with ATF, FBI and the Secret Service). I have set-up and witnessed many planned demolitions. It is apparent to me that the confined zone of destruction following the collapse of two of the largest structures on the New York skyline, not to mention the obvious planned raising of building 7 out of the blue was the work of master blasters not the result of planes hitting buildings designed to withstand such disaster scenarios. I grew up within a mile of the Yamasaki Architectural firm and had the chance to see what lengths the firm went to engineering and modeling buildings. This event will be shown to have been a great American tragedy. I am already embarrassed.

I am an 84 year old vet of WWll. I was trained to use explosives. The center core steel columns are definitely, in my opinion, sheered by explosives
The visual evidence of the center core columns leave no doubt those were shear charges that brought the buildings down.The outer perimeter columns are broken jaggedly compared to the angled clean cut center core columns. It was a controlled demolition that caused the building to fall within it's own footprint The plumes of smoke are evidence of explosions compared to the billows of smoke from the fire.

I have been a Flight Simulator Technician for 25 years. Educated in the Air Force and with American Airlines, I am knowledgeable in the areas of electronics, hardware, software, hydraulics and flight. I have maintained B52, B1, 777 and various other Boeing Flight Simulators.
My first inkling that something was wrong came last year when I happened upon 'In Plane Site' on Youtube. I was most intrigued by the plane that hit the second tower and the mysterious pod under the fuselage. I have yet to see any other UA jet with that underneath. The second thing that really drew me in was WTC 7. That is so obviously an implosion, I've shown it to young children and they know immediately what they are seeing! I continue to research, and applaud your efforts to get at the truth.

I saw the North Tower come down live on TV, from California. After having just woke up, and not knowing what I was looking at, my initial reaction was that I was watching a normal (intentional) demolition of a building, and wondered why it looked like the World Trade Center, or why they would decide to demolish it. I've been keeping an open mind about the official story since the beginning, and after seeing the science on AE911Truth.org, am completely convinced the evidence needs another full, independent review by experts of all disciplines, and let the evidence lead wherever it does.

If all calculations relating to the free fall speed of WTC 1, 2 & 7 are seen as energy calculations (airplane impact, jet fuel energy, potential in building weights, needed for 'vaporizing' concrete while falling & for ejecting steel components, needed for molten iron i basement for 8 weeks after 9/11) and then compared/added up in relation to free fall speed, we end with a deficit in energy that must come from somewhere else (blasts ?!).

I was amazed that the floors seemed to crumble instead of stacking upon each other. I attended a Federal Civil Defense School to become a Heavy Duty Rescue Instructor in Only, MD in the 1950's. They had concrete reinforced buildings there that were supposed to have suffered an atomic blast. The floors pancaked upon each other but the structure held.

From my several years experience as an aircraft accident investigator for the U.S.Navy, I am appalled at the basic principles of investigation being ignored; ie, premature destruction of evidence, reliable eye witness accounts ignored, etc. To allow the official version to be the final word in this planned event, as is evident from the AE9/11 investigation, would be a major disservice to the victims and the nation.

Very concerned from the initial news reports about the way the buildings fell, such as how could they possibly fall from the airplanes hitting them so far up the sides of those buildings. How in the world could those big airliners get off their flight plan route without the U.S. Air Force fighter pilots intercepting them? Where were the U.S. Air Force Defense Command and Norad sleeping with their modern day computerized radar detection systems???? And where were the Air Traffic Controllers sleeping??? I believe that all remaining evidence of 9-11-2001, and all witness testimonies should be revisited. There are many unanswered questions regarding the events of the day. One of the questions I would like to have answered is, why did building 7 collapse at nearly free-fall speed? Another question would be, how did the masonry and drywall become pulverized to the fine dust shown in the news footage, and witnessed during the clean up? My third and final question is in two parts, why weren't the columns reconstructed off-site, so that investigators could have a clearer picture of the collapses? Why was the steel disposed of so quickly after the attacks?

Of course, there are many unanswered questions concerning the events of 9/11. The investigation of the NTSB has been locked up by the FBI. The NTSB generally does excellent job of facts gathering. Why has the crash photos of the 9/11 plane wreckage been hidden from the public? Since Robert Mueller was head of FBI at the time of 9/11 and our current President at odds with the Special Prosecutor seems like an ideal time for a new investigation into 9/11.

I am a U.S.Navy veteran who served during the Viet Nam War. I was an Aviation Electronics Technician Second Class and worked on the avionics equipment on aircraft aboard an aircraft carrier in the Tonkin Gulf. I obtained an Associates Degree in Science upon discharge from th Navy. I worked as a Field Service Enginner for 36 years with the Eastman Kodak Co. I have recently retired.
I do not believe that impact of the two commercial jets into the twin towers and the fires that resulted were the only cause of the twin towers to collapse. I do not believe that fires alone caused the collapse of Building #7. I have concerns of the numerous explosions that were heard by rescue personnel and employees and also recorded by news organizations that were on the scene. I have concerns that the lobby areas were severly damaged even though the planes hit the buildings at the upper levels. The one event that changed my opinion from a sceptic to a believer that there was more to the collapse of all three buildings was the collapse of building # 7. I am also concerned that there are rumors that the flight recorders from the two aircraft were indeed found but never released to the public. I am troubled that the steel beams were so quickly sent to China and melted down. My belief is that a lot of the steel beams should have been retained for examination to help to explain the collapses. I join with the others who have signed this petition and call for a totally independent investigation into this horrible act.
