PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

In my view, the vertical collapse of the Twin Towers core structures could only take place because the structures' pillars and the corner pillars in one or more of the lower floors all at once were cut by explosive charges, thereby entering the entire structures above into a free fall, gaining sufficient downward momentum to make the structures below crumble. However, I do find it hard to explain how the core steel-frame structures could disintegrate and why the disintegration happened in the same way in the two towers. To me it seems likely that in an uncontrolled collapse one or both towers would have capsized with even more catastrophic consequences. As regards WTC7, it seems obvious to me that the sudden collapse was controlled, although the videos that I've seen do not show explosions in the lower part of the building. I have not read the official reports explaining the vertical collapse of the three buildings. However, if the civil engineering community cannot deliver a proper peer-reviewed explanation of these collapses, it has a serious professional problem. Explanations of major structural failures has always been essential for progress in the design of safe structures and in the education of civil engineers. Future textbooks on the structural design of steel-frame high-rises must contain factually consistent explanations of the collaps of WTC towers - otherwise we must admit that we do not know the essential properties of such constructions when exposed to impacts and fire. Which is clearly unacceptabel for the professional community.

Have been designing building structures for 35 years both in the UK and the Middle East with local UK based consultancies and with a large project management company in Saudi Arabia. For the last 14 years, I have owned and run a structural design consultancy in Edinburgh, UK specializing in steel framed, masonry and timber building designs.
From the outset, watching the collapses on television, it was clear there were very serious questions to be asked about how three robust steel framed buildings collapsed into their own footprints, one of which had not been struck by an aircraft and had been subject to a relatively minor fire. Given the evidence from multiple witnesses regarding explosions in the buildings before and after the planes struck, the stand-down of the US air force, the admission by the owner of the buildings of the decision to demolish Building 7, the immediate removal of structural evidence, the high temperature fires in the basements, the evidence for explosive residues in dust and obvious unwillingness of US authorities to offer a reasoned and full engineering explanation for the collapses. Since 911, the two relevant UK engineering institutions have failed to provide an analysis or to offer advice to structural engineers on progressive collapse and fire protection in steel framed buildings in complete contrast to previous serious building collapses. In my opinion, the official report on the collapses, or any other that I am aware of was entirely inadequate and should be reopened to fully investigate the reasons for these building failures and offer advice and guidance on limiting risk in future, and existing, structures.

As a leader in the fire rated glass and metal systems supply I have witnessed and performed many tests to ASTM E119. For 20+ years we have developed, manufactured and supplied fenestration and framing systems with up to 2 hour ratings. Having a pilot scale oven and running the time/temp curve in development of new products I know how steel performs. I was one mouse click away from being on Flight 93 so it only seemed right to fight what I knew could not be.

It is my opinion that a third plane was scheduled to hit Building #7, but crashed in Pennsylvania instead. The implosion and subsequent lack of reporting raises too many questions to be ignored!

It seems that the when it comes to the collapse of the 3 towers the 9/11 truthers and the 9/11 debunkers are talking about different parts of the collapse. The debunkers focus on the local damage caused by the planes and fires. Their claims of local failure might have some validity but they make no attempt to connect the local failures with the mode of global building failure we all observed. The 9/11 truthers start with the global building failures and work backward to what might have caused it. This seems to me a better approach.

We will actually not know the true cause until there is an independent and full investigation of the tragedy that took so many lives. I have watched many videos of the 9/11 towers' collapse. I do not think that these demolitions could have taken place without some form of high level government involvement. But even if it can be shown that WTC 1 & 2 were brought down by the plane crashes, it leaves open the collapse of WTC 7. WTC 7 came down like a controlled demolition hours after WTC 1 & 2 and long after the small fires in it were extinguished.

The visual analysis of the collapse of all three WTC buildings does not meet, in my opinion, the nature of a collapse related to non-symmetrical destruction. All three buildings collapsed symmetrically downward with no horizontal deviation even though the damage to the structure was non-symmetrical. A professional architect, engineer or one versed in the physics of building structures would intuitively know that a non-symmetrical failure of one part of a structure would not allow the entire structure to come down vertically, but would tip it to one side much like chopping a tree down. That did not happen in any of these buildings and is suspect.

There is much evidence that suggests the Governments theory doesn't add up. The buildings fell at near free fall speed, straight down. The temperature was not high enough to make the buildings fall. From information and pictures on the internet it was clear that the planes would not demolish the buildings. I later read David Ray Griffin's book that explained things very well. if the planes would have been the cause and the floors had pancaked down the massive steel supports would have remained. as any thinking fool cam plainly see they were demolished. The evidence now emerging as the result of independent investigations clearly shows that the government conspiracy theory is beyond far-fetched. It is just not credible. There are not just a large collection of factual irregularities in the officially approved thesis of how the buildings collapsed, but the mere fact, alone, that the crime scene was not treated in the correct procedural way in respect to protecting forensic evidence, before the clean up was commenced, points to high level complicity in the entire disaster, from the planning to the execution of the event. This irregular conduct on the part of the police and Federal law enforcement authorities involved, alone tends to destroy their credibility regarding anything they have officially concluded and/or otherwise had reported.

Obvious demolition job. The rate of speed at which the buildings fell and how they fell into their footprint should set off some alarms. Not to mention building seven. The building wasn't even hit by a plane yet fell as the other two trade centers had. The whole original or conventional 9/11 story has to many holes in it. Why was NORAD told to stand down on 9/11? Secretly cleared a little over a year ago (my 3rd clearance) to peruse satellite designs as incorporated by General Dynamics in Gilbert Az., while providing security for the same.
I learn more as time goes along. Most of it, alarmingly and disturbingly contradictory to the storyline given by the Bush Jr. administration. The recent proof/evidence of the Danish scientist having discovered active thermitic matter in the w.t.c. rubble, the close examination of the Shanksville Pa. field, overwhelmingly suggesting that no plane crashed there (view suspect crater before and after 911 on google sky video - they're the same). And the Pentagon incident, in my opinion, was caused by a Snark, u.a.v., or u.c.a.v., the remains of which, is also more likely what was found in Shanksville, Pa.. as the overwhelming majority of reports I've perused indicated no bodies, plane seats, parts other than wireswere found there.

I watched the attacks on tv but I never really thought about what I saw as the buildings came down. It was surreal and I never truly studied the fall of the structures or the debris fields. Upon seeing in your video a large beam, clearly explosively cut at a 55 degree angle, standing there in the debris field, I was forced to re-think my entire 911 experience. Steel does not snap a clean break like that, it was clearly cut using established demolition techniques. Thank you for your work in this.

Buildings that are hit by planes do not collapse at free fall speed. Building 7 collapsed into it's own foot print.

Everyone who signed this has doubt that these buildings fell due to impact of these planes. Its my understanding they were built to withstand that & more.Building was leveled sometime well after the towers.It takes WEEKS to wire a building to fall like that

I was a former MALRE tech (Marine Air Launch & Recovery Equipment) for 2 years. I served 1 1/2 yrs with H&HS RECOVERY MCAS Yuma . I assisted with first aid and clean up of 2 F-4 Phantoms that crashed on our base in Dec, 1977. Also a Commercial Carpenter 25+ years. I have worked on numerous high rises (20+ stories) from the ground up.
I witnessed the preparation (several weeks) and implosion of the First American Bank in Norfolk VA from the 17th floor of the Norfolk Southern Rail Road Tower. Only people working on the tower were allowed in the building. It was very similar to WTC #7. The debris field (by pics I've seen) in Shanksville was equal to or less than of 2 crashes of the F-4 phantoms in a grapefruit grove crash site I was at.

I am an 82 year old Inventor, Graphic Artist and Publication specialist, who graphically illustrated and coordinated engineering ideas into illustrated concepts for EBASCO , Port Authority, Raytheon, Autometric where I had security clearance, Bechtel and Exxon corporation from which I have been retired since 1986.
I believe that there are to many lies told about what happened that day and only an legitimate investigation will bring out the truth. Why did building 7 drop like a stone unless it was loaded with explosives which takes a few days to set up. The Deutsche Bank building burned for 17 hours and still stands. What caused bone fragments to be found on its roof if the trade center just pancaked how would tiny pieces go flying off unless those buildings were also detonated. Why no debris from a plane at the Pentagon or in Pennsylvania no plane parts or corpses. Why no cameras show a plane coming in either. Why no interceptor planes came to stop the attack or defense missiles protect the Pentagon. Why no investigation of the molten steel in the trade centers basements that could not be caused by kerosene. these questions must be answered or there will always be suspicion.

I fully support the efforts for an unbiased, thorough investigation into the events of 9/11. I believe the Official Story is at the very least, incomplete and quite possibly, criminal. I am of the opinion that the three WTC buildings that were destroyed on 9/11 were not brought down from the theories suggested by the 9/11 Commission.
