PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

During 9/11/01, I was away on business in France, working with a partner company there. Not knowing French (I was escorted around work with translators), I could only understand the photographic TV accounts in my hotel room for the days that followed. Having previously seen many times the free fall nature of purposely demolished buildings, I instantly surmised that the terrorists had somehow accessed the buildings and planted charges to ensure that they would fall. What didn't make sense to me was, if the terrorists had gone to that kind of trouble to plant demolition charges in the building, why would they even bother flying a plane into the buildings? When I finally got back to the US, I was amazed that there was no talk or investigation of this possible cause of the buildings' collapse.

Not only would the fires never achieve a temperature to melt the steel, but even if the floors collapsed on top of each other, and the weight of the floors above pancake upon each other, they would 'slide' down the major vertical support columns. (which should have been left standing and toppled over bending and twisting) The vertical support columns cannot just disintegrate. Floors collapsing should have left a tangled mess, protruding from the debris field below, 30-50 stories high, bending over into adjacent buildings.

I was always very suspicious, especially after seeing the explosions. I had seen controlled demolition before and instinctively knew that that was what I was seeing again. Also, in Vietnam, we (Marines) used jet fuel, and sometimes diesel fuel, that burned in cut-in-half 55 Gal. drums in order to dispose of human feces. That process never caused any harm to those drums.

As a survivor of WW2, I have seen many buildings and homes crumble as a result of all the bombings. In my personal opinion, it would take a great deal to desecrate these buildings which were apparently made to withstand acts of terrorism as so described by former President George W. Bush.
I believed it would have been impossible for an airplane to destroy a building as solidly built as the WTC obviously were. I believe there has to have been a more sophisticated mechanism or other more powerful destructive materials used to bring the buildings down. Airplanes just are not designed to make these buildings which were structurally sound disintegrate into crumbled pieces of rubbled mess.

I have studied this document by Architects and Engineers a year or so ago in another e-mail venue and find it most convincing. I have also examined studies by experts on residues of the thermite used in demolitions that were found in the ruins of the Towers. There are contradictions in the official report on how the damage occurred at the Pentagon. In all there are scores, if not a hundred, of unanswered questions in the government's official report. All this adds up to a deliberate cover up and gross failure of responsibility of many government officials from ex- President George W. Bush on down.

I was at college on 9/11 when school and classes were canceled. Watched the events from the student quad. Firmly believe that scientific evidence proves the facts. Would love to see a collaboration of technical experts (like yourselves) assisting the citizens of our country and the world by coming up with technical solutions to the problems that humanity faces instead of unscientific political discourse and useless monetary policy. Spent 8 years as an Electrical Equipment Repairman in the Marine Corps during the Gulf War. Spent one week at Ground Zero performing warranty maintenance on generators used to provide power there. Have been an electrician/maintenance supervisor almost my whole life.
I have never taken an advanced math class, or physics class, but I am NOT an idiot. I have been in the maintenance industry for over 25 years. I know how man made objects work, are built, are maintained, and I also realize that ALL man made objects have a life expectancy, and are subject to defects and faults. However, anyone with an open mind can merely watch the video footage and tell that those buildings fell by the means of defying ALL basic laws of math and science. They were DELIBERATELY brought down.
