PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I am recently retired from a 30-yr career as a structural engineer in the military defense aerospace industry, holding DoD Secret Clearance throughout. My academic training was in civil structural engineering, and while I spent most of my career in space launch applications focusing on rocket structures, I managed the Ground Systems Structures Section at The Aerospace Corporation and have considerable practical experience with ground structures and facilities. I also have vast experience in failure investigations of launch systems and am well versed in the inter-disciplinary analyses -- thermodynamics, ballistics, structural dynamic and structures -- required to develop and explore credible hypotheses.
I was initially a skeptic regarding the possibility that the WTC was brought down by explosives. I erroneously thought that the conspiracy theories were based upon the notion that steel had to melt to precipitate a failure (it does not), and that rocket fuel doesn't burn at sufficient temperature to liquify steel (which is true). After reviewing the overwhelming evidence presented by the 911 Truth Organization, it is apparent to me that the steel did in fact melt, and that is incontrovertible evidence of the use of explosives. Together with the visual evidence, particularly that of WTC 7's signature implosion, there can be no doubt in the mind of anyone trained in structural engineering that these buildings were brought down by carefully placed explosive charges. NONE WHATSOEVER. As unthinkable as it is to me, it is hard to believe that anyone except agents of the U.S. federal government could have had the access and resources necessary to commit this atrocity.

Combined with the reports of molten metal, inexplicably high temperatures recorded even by satellite, rapid removal and destruction of the structural evidence, the finding of tiny fragments of human bone thrown laterally from the structures, the missing pentagon trillions on 9/10; I am very concerned about the kind of world we are leaving to the next generations. 9/11 and the ensuing cover up is a big part of that concern.

I have 3 problems with the official version of 911: 1- Speed by which the buildings came down. No credible expert has been able to justify that ... through scientific means. 2 - Building 7 was undeniably brought down voluntarily. In addition to the video evidence there are some reports of people admitting to this. It is also undeniable that some CIA agencies were based in that building. The fact that the official investigation report identifies a fire as the sole cause of collapse is the most convincing proof of a cover up. 3 - My last point is less related to Engineering evidence: Video footage of G . W. Bush's reaction to learning the news while in a children's school (source: Farenheit 911, if confirmed). He didn't move for 8 minutes when it was clear this was a major attack on the American Nation. I personally am responsible for the safety of 185 people in my present profession (manager of major petroleum field) When I hear of a safety critical situation... I immediately take action to lead the crisis situation. Clearly anyone in a position of reponsibility where lives are at stake is expected, and trained, to react like that.

The brilliant Part III of David Chandler's NIST Finally Admits Free Fall is all one needs to understand that explosives caused the WTC collapses. The evidence for controlled demolition is overwhelming, of course, but it is the weak official explanations and non-sensical debunker counter-arguments that truly seal the deal for me. The NIST admission video is therefore qualitatively superior to all other videos that voice only the 9/11 truth movement side. In admitting free-fall NIST admits that their fire-based collapse hypothesis is wrong and that their report is a scientific fraud. Previous demonstrated shortcomings of their investigation arguably amounted to simple negligence. Not investigating reports of thermite, molten metal, and collapse preknowledge stand out here. But in admitting free-fall NIST has conjured up a contradiction within their conclusions that cannot be argued away. All that remains now is to get a critical mass of people to view the free-fall videos, as well as the others. Our strongest influence is among our friends, neighbors, and co-workers. Make it a practice to educate at least one new person per week from these groups. Do this in parallel with working your politicians and news media and we will eventually get a real investigation.

I am an engineer and was working at ground zero 9/11/2001, and witnessed the destruction of WTC 7. It was clear to me it was a controlled demolition. The fire department and NYPD were telling us it was coming down all day. There was no structural damage to the outside of that building, with fires from some of the windows on the 3rd floor. I have been a practicing architect/urban designer and management consultant with over 40 years experience and the founder and president of Barasch Architects & Associates, Inc., a multidisciplined architecture/engineering corporation. I have had broad experience in the planning, design & engineering of multi-story, braced-frame and moment-resisting steel frame structures including office towers and large scale institutional complexes.
After reviewing the data presented by the Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth Organization and through my independent assessment of the data I have reviewed, and based on my 40+ years of professional experience, I have concluded that it would be nearly impossible for any of the principal World Trade Center Towers to collapse in the manner or in the recorded time frame as a result of any fire or explosion caused solely by the impact of terrorist-guided aircraft alone. Braced steel frame buildings simply don't collapse in a symmetrical manner with a uniform plume of debris in 102 or 56 minutes respectively with modern structural design standards and state-of-the-art life-safety systems which must be continuously inspected by local building inspectors based on ever increasing performance standards centered on human survival.

Ten years later, no details of the digital image of the Towers, 1 & 2, damaged structures and model has been published by NIST. Those of WTC 7 do not correspond to observable reality. The 2.25 seconds of WTC 7 free fall is one of much evidence of the intentional demolition. For his theory of gravitational progressive collapse, Bazant uses a value of free fall acceleration, which allows him to overestimate the kinetic energy available for the first ....missing jolt.... He plays down then the energy dissipated in plastic deformation of the poles using a model that buckling does not match the behavior of short columns and the AISC prescriptions, which recommended that the critical stresses of decline, be close to the poles compression resistance. This requirement does not allow poles to bend under a load of axial compression. Bazant's calculations are wrong. For the failure of the North Tower poles, it was necessary that all the poles reach 750 ' C. NIST simulations can be concluded that the steel did not reach these temperatures with office fires ...

The world was not prepared for this in that no one figured out the size of explosion from jet fuel combined with impact and perfect air. Size or KT was almost nuclear. Without EMP, backlash and fallout. And Radiation. Preparedness and intel should have stopped this miles from the city. Defense System. The people on planes would not make it out alive any way. There is nothing engineeringly speaking that would have helped the Buildings other than the asbestos in fallout which killed many.

In a way, I do not see the need for another government-funded investigation. The independently conducted research has more than adequately demonstrated that the WTC was brought down by controlled demolition. However, a formal, government recognized, investigation will add weight to the conclusions, and can begin the process of demanding accountability.

I find it sickeningly eerie, the number of similarities between the official investigation of 9/11 and that of the assassination of President Kennedy: from the immediate destruction and suppression of evidence; to the refusal to collect and analyze evidence; to government-sponsored scientific tests that disproved its own theories; to the evidence of foreknowledge; to the selling of its own exhaustive investigation by virtue of quantity and not quality. We should not seek the truth simply for the foregone desire to avert a similar instance in the future; we seek the truth--transparent and repeatable--to prevent continued governmental abuses on various levels, utilizing increasingly dangerous and deadly tactics as can be easily demonstrated in the 40 years between the assassination of a president and the mass murder of nearly 3,000 innocent people.

Watching 9/11 unfold on the TV that fateful day like so many others affected me deeply. The loss of life was so horrific it is no wonder it took me 5 years before I was able to open my eyes to real information without all the emotion getting in the way. When I did, to my utter surprise, I found the video evidence did not match the official story. I think anyone with eyes to see, who takes the time to watch all 3 building collapses several times will see that they are not collapses at all, but explosions! Then, when you dig a little deeper, you find that every part of the 9/11 story has huge holes in it. As a citizen of this country I demand a true independent investigation (NO POLITICIANS OR INSIDERS) of what really happened on Sept. 11, 2001.

I am a Union Operating Engineer, and work in the field of heavy construction. I have helped build iron framed structures, so am very familiar with what is involved with the integrity of the buildings. I have 20 years experience in the industry.
Heat rises, so why would the buildings' integrity have been compromised below the points of impact and below the fire? This does not compute... As Spock would say, that is not logical. I have watched Ironworkers cut big iron with oxygen/acetylene torches and know that a fire from jet fuel could in no way cause buildings to collapse the way the Twin Towers did on 9/1/11. Not to mention all of the rebar in the concrete floors and the conduit that held all of the electrical wiring... both of with would have caused major resistance in a natural fire. These buildings disintegrated into dust... they did not collapse. They fell in the path of greatest resistance... not possible without the help of explosives. The iron is BIG IRON... as I have heard it called by Union Ironworkers...

I saw the burning of demolition explosives flowing out the sides of the building and the manner they came down and knew it was a set job. After spending years setting explosives for Large road construction sites and shopping centers, I know what a planned implosion site looks like. I grew up in a TV family at WRGB, an NBC affiliate in upstate NY, as the son of a writer producer and director working in the news room and helping with film editing and live TV person for documentaries and commercials. I knew the stories were being changed and altered for rebroadcast.
I saw the burning of demolition explosives flowing out the sides of the building and the manner they came down and knew it was a set job. I also realized that jet airplanes with no windows were not commercial air transportation but either military or private. I heard live interviews of people sitting outside the buildings talking about explosions inside the building before the planes hit. It would appear that all the crucial evidence regarding the causative agent(s) in the collapse of the World Trade Center buildings has been sanitized and then refocused away from reality. Although I have no means proving my gut feelings about what really happened on 9/11/2001, I would put money on the bet that the Bush administration used the attack to obtain the support of the majority of the American people to open a new war on Afghanistan in addition to the raging war in Iraq, in pursue of indirectly funding the all-powerful US weapon industry. I am almost convinced, at least I would not be surprised at all, that this administration firstly had full information about the terrorists preparations prior to their attack, secondly decided not to intervene these activities, and thirdly purposely used this attack to also demolish building 7 in the event. The controlled demolition of building 7 means it was planned and prepared for a long time in advance. That being true, it becomes difficult not to assume that the collapse of the two towers also was prepared in advance, and was the real cause for their destruction, not the aircraft and the fire inferno. I have numerous citations of valor and Army commendations. To summarize, I was always in the third deviation above the mean on all standardized national examinations. I know a great deal about metallurgy, building structures, utilization of thermite for destroying buildings, temperatures when metal liquifies etc.
After reviewing the evidence, I firmly believe that the Twin Towers and WTC 7 fell due to use of thermite, and in fact one of the newest forms of thermite. The explanations of our government are so childish that without the cleansing from the press, no one with any education would believe a word of the explanations. I have been an Electrical Engineer for most of my working career, including Hughes Aircraft Corp., Optoelectronics Corp, and Cox Broadcasting. I designed & built a radar mapping system for Pioneer Venus, designed and supported Ground support equipment and a fire control system unit for the F14 & F15 aircraft, and was Program Manager at Opto., Chief Engineer at Cox. 1)Jet fuel burning cannot melt steel. 2)Explosions were noted by witnesses before and during the fall. 3)Sparks coming from building during fall. 4)Free fall of the buildings into their footprint indicate the underlying structure was removed by explosion. 5)The pool of molten steel under the rubble (note #1 above) 6)Picture I saw of column cut at a diagonal in the debris. 7)The fact that building #1's top started to topple sideways and then it rotated back to the footprint indicates controlled demolition. 8)The most damming of all is the finding of unburned high energy thermite in the dust of the towers. 9)The statement made about pulling building 7. 10)The disappearance of jet engines at the Pentagon. 11)Hole at Pentagon too small for a jet liner with wings. 12)The convenient absence of jet fighters that should have been scrambled in this event of hijacked, off course jetliners. 13) Bush's reaction after being told.

I spent some 7 years in the Mechanical Building Trade, and although my work never entailed work involving a high rise, it did entail the understanding of retrofits. I was also attending classes held by the GBCA in Philadelphia and working towards my license. I had applied to Drexel University to continue my education in the architectural engineering program, but needed to put this future goal on the back burner for more demanding family needs. I am also the parent of a US Army soldier who provided our military with a body through my own selfless service by raising my Granddaughters to meet their needs.
From the very beginning of the destruction of the twin towers, I commented to those who would listen, that I felt it was NOT a terrorist action, but an inside plot to gain access to the middle east and boost the popularity of President Bush. I had been a car buff and played with jet fuel, which I knew burned rapidly. I also knew a demolition expert that had worked for our military, who explained, How charges were set to implode a building, much as Americans had watched happen to other buildings scheduled at some point in time. Am I the only person to find the collapse and DAYS of burning odd?

Diesel mechanic by trade, seventeen years in the industry, specializing in all aspects of heavy truck/machinery repair and maintenance. Welding, cutting, and fabrication (steel and aluminum) are a big part of my trade. Through the years I have also worked for a few welding companies, and I have done both construction, and demolition. Some of my hobbies include astronomy, electronics, automation, exploration, and researching just about everything that tickles my fancy.
I was a volunteer working at Ground Zero with a mobile welding company. We were one of the first non-union welding companies on site. I remember as we rolled up, the dust in the air was still very thick, and covered everything in the area making it hard to focus. As my eyes adjusted, and I got my first good look at the pile that was once 2 World Trade Center, I was in disbelief! How could such enormous buildings have made such a small piles? Then I noticed many of the surrounding buildings didn't suffer any significant damage, and the streets and walkways were clear of large debris. All the columns seemed to be so neatly stacked, and the rubble so concentrated in such small areas, it seemed there had been a cleanup effort going on for days before we got there! And this was just about twelve hours after they came down! Impossible I thought. This cant be right! I turned to my friend and said These buildings couldn't have come down any cleaner if it was a planned demolition! He agreed! We didn't give it much more thought at the time because we had one hell of a job ahead of us. After returning home I really started to think about the whole situation. Nothing made sense about it! So I started doing my own research. I've seen every theory from alien technology to nanothermite paint. The only thing I can say for certain is that the reasons we were given for the collapse of those buildings are a lie! I still live with nightmares from my experiences on the pile. And every time I see it played over on the news I can still smell it and taste it in my throat. Hopefully the nightmares will be the only thing that plagues me and I don't develop cancer as well. Either way I will pay my dues for my good deed, I just want to know the truth! As do many other people around the world who don't live with their heads up their asses! I think We The People deserve it!!

I graduated with a degree in construction management in in 1992. I also owned a contract glazing company for 10 years, T&M Architectural Metal & Glass. I was a contractor at the the WTC site from 2002 - 2003. My company installed the structural steel elevator tower on Vesey St. as well as the stainless steel enclosure panels around the elevator that would be installed.
I am well aware of testing, ul labels and fire retardent material that must be tested. I was a contractor and still am for a fabrication and installation company for glass and metal. It was virtually impossible for the the buildings to fall in a pancake theory due to fires on the 89th floor. I am sorry, but it does not take an engineer or a rocket scientist to draw this conclusion.

Simply amazed at how there has been no real investigation into what happened on 9/11 2001. As a constructor / designer of buildings via CAD + 3D Software, A well astute understanding of how buildings are put together and how extremely strong and tough they are, to be demolished... It just doesn't happen without planned intervention. Simple as that! No matter what way it gets dressed up, the pancake affect did not take the buildings down. The facts and evidence is there, provided by vasts amounts of people, established people expressing their doubts about how many things happened on that day. I'm 100% positive that the two towers could not have collapsed the way the 9/11 Commission report has explained, without even getting into building 7.

BUILDING 7 is the real problem for me as well as many other weird evidence that just does not make sense. I did not appreciate what appeared to be a cover-up of the 9-11 Commission and their report. It is well past time that a real investigation be done by a fair and honorable committee.
