PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I sat riveted for over two and 1/2 hours listening and watching the presentation by Mr. Richard Gage, AIA. The concise information on the twin towers and especially building 7, caused me to reevaluate the 911 Commission report. Unfortunately, that conclusion caused me to be quite concerned at the direction that the thought process then takes you. At the very least, the disaster must be investigated with new eyes on the nature and causes of the building loss and the loss of life. Who or what is responsible? How could it have been done? What part did the planes really have in the collapse? I don't know but would like more answers.

I have worked under the direct supervision of a licensed structural engineer for many years. I am an attorney. I practice criminal defense law in the Central Coast region of California. When I was about 13, my father and I watched a building be demolished by controlled explosive demolition. He explained the process, and the pros and cons of demolishing a building that way. About 20 years later, on the morning of 9/11/2001, I was taking a university class that met in the early mornings in the university's theater. When I arrived at my class, the professor already had the news on, so I sat in my usual seat, front row center, and I watched several hours of MSNBC's 9/11 news coverage on a movie-theater-sized screen. Watching the buildings collapse (and seeing the footage over and over) I have never had any doubt that what I watched was buildings collapsing due to explosive demolition. Then WTC 7 collapsed in very much the same way -- straight down, all at once. It sure looked like controlled demolition, too. And WTC 7 wasn't even hit by a plane.

I was stunned at the way the buildings came down, like sand castles that we made when we were children. I tried, thereafter, to find some more scientific information about their collapses. Of course, issues of what is the temperature sufficient to melt the steel beams, girders, etc. Then, discovering that the so-called molten steel was immediately shipped out of the country caused me more concern, because experts had not even had a chance to examine the remains so to speak. And, moreover, Building 7 was not struck by a plane, but came down in the exact same fashion as the North and South Towers of the World Trade Center.

There are simply too many, serious gaps in the explanation of the events of 911 as reported by the Official 911 Commission. Moreover, simply too many critically relevant witnesses were not called or refused to testify before the Commission. Under these circumstances, it is not reasonable to expect any serious persons to accept the official story as the true or a reasonably complete story of what happened on that critical day. Accordingly, there must be a full, scientific investigation of the events of 911 by an independent body, with full subpoena power, in full compliance of the law that requires a full investigation of all major crimes. This nation cannot maintain its moral and legal reputation and integrity without taking such action. Failure to take such legally mandated action will only fuel the suspicion that some group of highly influential people inside the government have something terrible to hide in connection with 911. These shameful suspicions must all be cleared by means of the most independent, certifiably unbiased, scientific investigation for the sake of the honor of the dead and for the pride of this nation and of all Americans who are dedicated to our national heritage and democracy and who deserve no less.

The overwhelming weight of circumstantial evidence, as explained by competent architectural and engineering professional men and women, indicates that the twin towers were implanted with explosives before they collapsed. Building 7 - a very unusual building... it was not in the direct blast zone on 9/11. It was the first building to collapse due to moderate fires - and collapsed so beautifully - straight down. What a day to do that, co-incidence? Then UK's BBC reported its collapse 30 minutes before it actually happened. Then, amazingly for such a reputable organization - it lost all records of that day. Unbelievable? Yes. I think the prophecy of the BBC shows a well organized government media machine that messed up its timing. This is only one tiny aspect of what happened that day. Was it George Bush - I have no evidence to say that - only that there is a need to establish what actually happened not just what we are told.

As I was watching the Towers collapse on TV on September 11, I immediately thought that they were brought down by controlled demolition. Knowing the curtain wall construction of the towers, with the central core within, and witnessing the glancing blow that one of the aircraft gave one of the towers, it struck me that very few of the core columns would have been affected, certainly not sufficient to cause the building to collapse straight down.

I do not have an engineering background and I did not initially question the government's answer about 9/11. That changed after I saw the collapse of WTC 7 a few years later. First was how the building fell after not being hit by a plane. I also felt it odd that the news never played that collapse while they consistently replayed the collapse of the Twin Towers. I have a B.A. in Legal Studies from UC Berkeley. I have worked as a volunteer for Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth since January of 2008. I was the President of the 9/11 Truth Movement activist group at UC Berkeley and hosted an event with Richard Gage at Wheeler Hall on April 11, 2008. I also featured excerpts from Loose Change: Final Cut, a film directed by Dylan Avery and produced by Jason Bermas & Korey Rowe.
A main emphasis of mine is demonstrating the value of objectivity. I seek to distinguish an alleged fact with an objective fact using the scientific method. These three points must be specifically falsified in order to invalidate or reject the controlled demolition hypothesis. These points have never been falsified.1) WTC 1, WTC 2, and WTC 7 all collapsed at free-fall speed, indicative of controlled demolition.2) WTC 1, WTC 2, and WTC 7 all collapsed symmetrically, indicative of controlled demolition.3) The debris from WTC 1, WTC 2, and WTC 7 was sampled and observed to have had previously molten-metal as measured by FLIR radar and independent labs. The solidified metal requires temperature obtained through explosives or incendiaries. These temperatures cannot be generated by hydrocarbon fires or jet fuel from planes alone. Next, I use logical fallacies to understand how and why critics are using false logic to defy claims made about the 9/11 Truth Movement. The most frequent fallacies used against 9/11 Truth Movement tend to be:1) False Analogies (i.e. 9/11 truthers believe in false-flag operations are that the government has participated in false-flag events and thus are construed as unreliable in their objective views about the events of 9/11). 2) Straw-man Distortions (i.e. Most 9/11 Truthers believed that it was not Osama bin Laden that perpetrated the 9/11 attacks and thus are incorrect about their justifications about their perspective of physical events that occurred on 9/11.) 3) Ad Hominem (i.e. those 9/11 truthers are crazy). 4) Appeal to Logic (I.e. Assuming the quantity of literature is more significant than the quality of data. In the 9/11 Commission Report and NIST Report, for instance, Philip Zelikow and Larry Silverstein constantly claim that millions of pages of documents were utilized and thousands of hours of testimony were included in the 9/11 Commission Report; however, this information is meaningless. If I write a 20,000 page NIST report that does not necessarily mean that information is scientifically true or can be utilized for forensic purposes.) 5) Appeal to Authority (i.e. NIST and Popular Mechanics are legitimate because they are authorized or endorsed by the government or legitimate scientific institutions.)
