PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The nearly free-fall velocity and the symmetrical path of collapse of Building 7, the confined footprint of the building's debris, the lack of any external force applied to the building's exterior are suspicious. Coupled with these factors, a visual comparison of the collapse with that of buildings being leveled by professional, controlled demolition suggests that the cause officially attributed to the failure (weakening of the structural members due to fire) is exceedingly unlikely. The true cause was likely an intentional, controlled demolition using explosive thermal charges typically employed for such purposes. The failures of WTC Buildings 1 and 2, likewise, are suspicious due to the inherent design strength of the buildings' cores to withstand aircraft impact; the relatively low temperature of a kerosene fire v. the temperature required for structural steel failure; the presence of subterranean molten steel, suggesting that a high-temperature cutting material was employed (thermate or a derivative); the debris cloud, which resembled that from an explosion; and like Building 7, the near free-fall velocity of collapse. Together these factors suggest that the cause of collapse was an intentional deployment of a professionally designed and executed demolition process utilizing systematically and remotely detonated, thermal cutting charges strategically situated throughout the buildings on key structural support members and their joints.

The pile driver effect is gone at that point. The top third of the building is no longer pressing down on the bottom two thirds. No load = no buckling. Imagine a tree in the woods being struck by lightning two thirds of the way up. The top third breaks off and falls over. Then, starting at the top of the remaining ""stump"" which is two thirds the height of the original tree, a wave of destruction starts and goes down at near freefall, spewing out wood chips and sawdust. Some of the stuff is pretty over the top kooky and I don't typically buy into conspiracy theories. However, it is instantly and undeniably clear from the videos of the Building 7 collapse that it was brought down by controlled demolition. The official explanation is transparent nonsense. Once a person sees the videos of Building 7, then looks back at the footage for the other towers, it becomes clear they were also demolished deliberately.A new, thorough and impartial investigation is urgently needed.

I practised law with a large Vancouver law firm for 4 years but then quit because I didn't like the mentality and environment of such (male dominated, huge egos and no control over my own life). This way I could control my own time and receive all the money for my efforts. I subsequently developed a course in Legal English for International Commercial Transactions that I taught to lawyers who are non-native speakers of English and who are doing international work which requires the use and understanding of Legal English.
The videos make no sense - they look the same as videos of buildings that have been intentionally demolished. There is more ash and less rubble than there would be for a plane crashing into the buildings.

No way did the three towers fall from two aluminum airplane impacts. The towers were designed to withstand the impact of a Boeing 707, which is not significantly dissimilar from the 757 and 767 alleged to have hit them on 9/11.

The known facts on steel non-melting vs. melting and the public video material on the vaporization/dustification of the WTC1 and WTC2 towers, with the measured yet non-existing certain seismic waves at the time and place of the claimed free fall 'collapse of WTC1 and WTC2, as well as a similar free fall 'collapse' of the WTC7 needs to be comprehensively and independently investigated, as the official investigation made, was neither a comprehensive, nor an independent one. Finally, the clearest factor requiring a new investigation, is the fact that Bush administration did not intend to do any public investigation, and, when they reluctantly did, they did not allow any comprehensive and independent investigation at all.

Sorrow and grief among all peoples all over the World for the 9/11 victims and their families has increased, not abated, in over 15 years, and I add further that American's distrust of the government has also increased with the painful experience of the Iraq and Afghanistan debacles. As I've gotten older I have becomes less naive and more prepared and able to think on my own but the public depends on the technical community to move forward with an Independent 9/11 Technical Investigation Commission of scientists, engineers, and materials experts. I never even thought about questioning the official story of 911 until I stumbled upon Architects and Engineers on YouTube by accident really. I feel so foolish now. I didn't even know about Building 7!! Now that my eyes have been opened, it's so easy to see that the official story is actually the most unbelievable conspiracy theory of all! Thank you for opening my eyes and showing me the truth. Never again will I be fooled. Question everything. If you're not outraged then you're simply not paying attention. PS - I wish Trump wasn't one of us truthers. He gives us all a bad name.

Rich Whitney, 62, is an attorney from Carbondale, Illinois, now working as an appellate public defender. Born in Connecticut, he received his Bachelor's Degree in telecommunications at Michigan State University in 1977 and is a magna cum laude graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Law. He has previously practiced in the areas of civil rights, employment law and criminal defense. He has taken on challenging and sometimes controversial cases to protect First, Fourth, Eighth and Fourteenth Amendment rights, including ballot access cases. Whitney is one of the founding members of the Illinois Green Party, currently serves on its Executive Committee and wrote a good portion of the Party's platform. In 2006, he served as the Party's first ever candidate for Governor, winning over 360,000 votes, about 10.5 percent of the total. He ran again in 2010, pulling in nearly 100,000 votes in a more complex five-person race. Meanwhile, he has continued to be actively involved in local political battles to protect the environment, the peace movement and various progressive causes. He is a member and/or supporter of the Illinois Single-Payer Coalition, Greenpeace, the United National Antiwar Coalition, World Beyond War, National Association of Railroad Passengers, the American Civil Liberties Union, and SAFE B Southern Illinoisans Against Fracturing our Environment, a group devoted to the fight against fracking and other fossil fuel extraction. He is also both a commentator and disc jockey at community radio for Southern Illinois, WDBX, 91.1 FM.
Having read literature from Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, the Journal of 9/11 Studies, Kevin Ryan and other sources, I am persuaded that there are ample reasons to find that the official explanations for what occurred, from the 9/11 Commission and NIST, are implausible, and that other possible explanations, including the controlled demolition hypothesis, need to be fully and fairly investigated. I have no preconceived notions about what happened; I simply believe that there is good cause to conduct a comprehensive and impartial investigation.

It seems reasonably obvious that the towers were brought down with a controlled demolition. Bin Laden was never indicted. The airplane crash footage looked fake and staged.

My Law office was located at 39 Broadway, New York, New York on 9/11/01, about 3 blocks from WTC. Office was temporarily condemned for about three months due to debris and damage. Served as Red Cross volunteer at Ground Zero and elsewhere. On the evening of 9/12/01 I was traveling inbound to the City through the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel around 10 pm. The tunnel was closed to the general public and I was one of very few vehicles allowed access into the City. To my amazement during that trip the traffic traveling outbound was bumper-to-bumper comprising more dump trucks than I thought ever existed. Each one was filled with rubble from Ground Zero and headed toward the landfill on Staten Island (at least that's what I thought). I was just dumbstruck at this activity which seemed to me reckless for several reasons. Thus began my personal journey for the truth about 9/11.

On the morning of 9/11, I made my way to the County Courthouse, only to find that it was closed due to the events unfolding in New York City and Washington DC. I immediately went to my office in Hollywood CA and turned on my portable fat little TV to watch the network news. Within minutes I saw the footage of the WTC towers coming down and immediately recognized the events as a controlled demolition of each tower. Here we are 16 years later and our nation needs a full investigation to reveal the truth now more than ever before.
