To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

After watching the precision with which the towers collapsed, I was then, and remain today, of the opinion that it was a controlled demo job. I did calculations at the time estimating that the rubble pile was much too small...material had to disappear/ vaporize in order for the pile to be as small as it was. Conservatively, the pile of rubble would have to have been about 30 stories deep (including accounting for the 7 stories below grade being packed tight with debris, no air spaces!); a 'pyramid' with a base of 600 ft square. Anyone who has ever witnessed a controlled demolition would have immediately recognized its 'signature in this collapse. Not likely to cut off all of the columns on only one side of the building and still have it come down vertically, virtually within its own footprint, like it did.

A practicing engineer for 3 decades and an avid student of engineering nearly my entire life, I have analyzed, designed and studied structures of all types, sizes and materials. I have not been directly involved with the design and construction of high rise steel frame, concrete core buildings. However, I have over the years designed steel framed facilities of every sort and have worked on a number of low rise steel and concrete office buildings. I have followed closely the official story of September 11, 2001 with a very keen interest as it pertains to my structural engineering profession.
Since shortly after 9/12/01, I have considered WTC 7 to be an intentional and very well executed controlled demolition. Every bit of evidence I have seen since that day has only solidified this belief. I withheld my opinion about the other WTC buildings until the 'official' building 7 story was released. I had decided that if the NIST report acknowledged the controlled demolition of WTC 7, I would grant latitude to the rest of the report. But it was all or nothing. That is the degree of my certainty about the fate of building 7. The official story of WTC 7 did not conclude it was a controlled demolition. Therefore, I find the entire 'official' NIST report subject to scrutiny. I assume that anything questionable in it is patently false until scientifically proven otherwise to my analytical satisfaction. This is the depth of distrust the building 7 story has created in me.

It took a few months for it to sink in that I was not seeing a collapse of the towers, but an explosion. When first looking into 9/11 truth, I encountered a lot of silly theorizing, and had to learn to see with my own eyes. The work being done by scholars and engineers is impressive, and I hope in the end it allows us to get an honest and fair investigation into the whole sorry episode on September 11, 2007. There are so many things that make no sense in the 'official' story, and so many reported anomalies that are not consistent with the reports from the 9/11 Commission and from NIST.

What concerns me is that most people don't even know about tower 7. The fact that the 9/11 commission did not even mention it in the the report concerns me and raises many red flags. That fact, along with many others about the commission- such as Zelikow's obvious conflict of interest- should be enough cause for a new truly independent investigation.

I have built and helped build numerous commercial and residential buildings over twenty years and the science of building has changed over that time. But the physics of how buildings fall has not.
A building of this magnitude does not fall cleanly. It has been engineered for the possibility of strikes by airplanes. A basic chemistry student can tell you exothermic reactions can only occur with input of chemicals that can react to create them. (i.e. thermite, bomb charges, etc). The pictures of the towers show massive exothermic reaction secondary to the initial impacts that is not consistent with solely jet fuel fires. The fires were basically burned out in numerous photos. Where does the 'fuel' come from for the additional explosions that are seen (light flashes) on many films of the collapse? Where does the 'fuel' for the massive upper explosions come from? The findings are not complete or plausible with what can be seen on film. Why was there such a hurry to remove the evidence without adequate investigation? I demand a more thorough investigation with independent impartial scientists, engineers and expert demolition investigators.

I am a well educated American with a profound respect for our country, it's constitution, and the founding fathers who would certainly not stand by without questioning such an event that is surrounded by ulterior motives, and driving our nation into world wars in the name of money and power for a select group in control.

Cuts on vertical members strongly suggest the use of shaped charges. The NIST report, if it addressed this corpse and not the trade towers' failure, would have ruled it 'death by mosquito bite.

These are the points I find most compelling: The discrepancy between the temperature of burning jet fuel and the melting point of steel, and the presence of molten steel weeks after the event. The missing energy required to pulverize concrete and eject steel beams laterally from the bldg. The verbal account of an immense explosion in the basement of one of the Twin Towers prior to collapse.

I wish some professional physics people would start talking more about the nature of potential energy (gravity) and explain that most kinetic energy calculations are based on the transfer of energy between solids. I am not a physics major but my gut tells me that there is not enough potential energy in a 100+ story building to pulverize that much concrete and eject steel beams laterally, even if the entire building were airlifted 1 mile up and dropped. True kinetic calculations would also be a nightmare and I am amazed at how simple both truthers and liars make them sound?

When I saw the planes hit the WTC and the buildings collapse, I thought, That's an odd way for a building to fall, but my thinking went no further then. Several years later I stumbled onto a television program about the impossibility of the official explanations of the buildings' collapse, and I began reading non-official studies. In the name of justice, I want to see a thorough Congressional investigation.

I often encourage people to watch the collapses of the three buildings that fell on 9/11 and consider whether they are going to believe the government or their own lying eyes. After one's initial hysteria on 9/11 it became clear that those buildings didn't fall down through the force of gravity. The towers obviously blew up and building 7 was classic demolition. And even on 9/11 I couldn't believe that our extremely expensive and well trained armed forces couldn't put a plane in the sky until it was too late. Give me a break - do they think we're stupid. It was the best executed psy-op ever.

Nine one one was a controlled demolition to justify a contrived war. Surely the Emperor has no clothes on. Anyone who looked at the collapse without the traumatizing effects of it's devastation and with out a contrived context would readily identify it as a controlled demolition.

I am a senior student at Pepperdine University and I possess no official expertise. The experience I have is my personal experience and I think one only needs basic life experience to understand that the truth about 9/11 has been covered up by our government. The time for change is now!
It boggles my mind that all three building came down in under 10 seconds due to fires and that people don't speak up about how absurd that is. Also, the Pentagon crash should not be ignored since no one has ever seen a video of a plane hitting the building. If people think that the guard gate camera is the only one that views the Pentagon, then they need to wake up! WHy haven't we seen a plane hitting the Pentagon? Probably because it wasn't a commercial airliner like we were told.

I have worked for several major Architectural firms (WATG & HOK) and was married to an Architect. However, I, myself, am not an architect.
I always wondered why and how the buildings fell so 'evenly, cleanly and quickly.' It seemed strange. I thought that the fire would burn and melt part of the interior, leaving the shell behind.
