To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

As a 17-year veteran in the commercial real estate industry, specifically Sr./General Manager for office high-rise buildings, I have always been passionate about the properties that I represent and as such, I work closely on a day to day basis with all those who make it possible to [collectively] run a tight ship. I am lucky to have had the opportunity to work in the trenches with my team, rather than hide in the office behind reports computer. To be able to actively & extensively work within the various fields that are inherent to the development and operation of office buildings (i.e. engineering, general construction, development /re-development, architecture, fire-life-safety, security, local city & state agencies fire, and police agencies -- just to name a few), is to understand the entire operation on both a micro and a macro level. Much like horse & rider, an intimate relationship emerges between Manager & Building.
On September 10th, 2001, I resigned from my position with a prominent Real Estate firm in the Los Angeles area. The next morning I was devastated to see the events unfolding in New York. It took two months for me to secure a new position in management. The industry was at a standstill; fear had taken over and hesitation plagued building owners. I returned to work and there began my discussions with my fellow colleagues in the industry. As time went on, my questions began to increase -- maybe it was intuition at that point, but something inside said this didn't make sense. My driving concern was two fold: 1) our country appeared to be under attack; 2) the method of attack involved office buildings. I have always personified office buildings -- the people give it life (the tenants, the building staff, the visitors, etc.). It has always been my work ethic to [before all else] ensure a safe environment for everyone's sake. The building becomes your home, and the people in it become your family. The staff become sisters, brothers, children, aunts, uncles. You work hard, together, and support each other. When I heard how many people lost their lives that day including a large number of building personnel (i.e. janitorial), I became overwhelmed and nearly obsessed with NEEDING TO UNDERSTAND... I asked myself and my colleagues how such an event could have happened, and why the absence of procedural emergency evacuation. I have evacuated my buildings on minor level threats -- maybe that was excessive on my part but my ethic has always been safety first. I assure you that, if at any time in my career there happened to be an airplane occupying any part of a building i was responsible for, evacuation would be the first order. I do not care if it's inconvenient for tenants - my attitude: board meetings can wait -- SAFETY FIRST. The more me and my colleagues (which consisted of other managers, VPs, Chief engineers, project managers, security personnel, developers, architects, GCs, demo-crews, FLS installers, members of LAPD & LAFD, and the list goes on.....) reviewed the plethora of footage of the actual collapse the more we concluded something was wrong with the picture. That was when my I became 100% obsessed with my research. I focused on the structural design aspect of the towers, and that led me to believe that complete pancaking was likely a direct result of controlled demolition, not jet fuel. I have raised the question of the [reportedly] unusual building operations in the weeks leading up to 9/11 - for example the timing of Reg. 4 emergency evacuation drill, incomplete contractor /vendor signature logs during the elevator mod project -- a front project to allow hoist-way access to controlled demolition crew(s). Truth and Understanding, I hope, will come to us by legal process. Thank you for this.

Our government's refusal to cooperate with American professionals, working with the limited evidence left available, to find out precisely and correctly how these buildings failed to withstand a simple aircraft strike (in 2 of the 3 cases), which Code and plans inspection say they should have, as designed by IAW applicable Codes, is a troubling revelation. Politics may have played a part somehow, but that is not the subject nor in the scope of the professional review these experts and witnesses are providing simply to lend more insight as to how those events of structural failure actually could have occurred. One always knows something is not right when it is intentionally being kept out of public view and discussion behind the rubric of 'It's classified''. But why? Inquiring minds want to know facts, not half-truths and evasions, which we are increasingly seeing as a basic part of the way the government treats the governed, for its own private purposes.

It took a few months for it to sink in that I was not seeing a collapse of the towers, but an explosion. When first looking into 9/11 truth, I encountered a lot of silly theorizing, and had to learn to see with my own eyes. The work being done by scholars and engineers is impressive, and I hope in the end it allows us to get an honest and fair investigation into the whole sorry episode on September 11, 2007. There are so many things that make no sense in the 'official' story, and so many reported anomalies that are not consistent with the reports from the 9/11 Commission and from NIST.

What concerns me is that most people don't even know about tower 7. The fact that the 9/11 commission did not even mention it in the the report concerns me and raises many red flags. That fact, along with many others about the commission- such as Zelikow's obvious conflict of interest- should be enough cause for a new truly independent investigation.

I have built and helped build numerous commercial and residential buildings over twenty years and the science of building has changed over that time. But the physics of how buildings fall has not.
A building of this magnitude does not fall cleanly. It has been engineered for the possibility of strikes by airplanes. A basic chemistry student can tell you exothermic reactions can only occur with input of chemicals that can react to create them. (i.e. thermite, bomb charges, etc). The pictures of the towers show massive exothermic reaction secondary to the initial impacts that is not consistent with solely jet fuel fires. The fires were basically burned out in numerous photos. Where does the 'fuel' come from for the additional explosions that are seen (light flashes) on many films of the collapse? Where does the 'fuel' for the massive upper explosions come from? The findings are not complete or plausible with what can be seen on film. Why was there such a hurry to remove the evidence without adequate investigation? I demand a more thorough investigation with independent impartial scientists, engineers and expert demolition investigators.

I am a well educated American with a profound respect for our country, it's constitution, and the founding fathers who would certainly not stand by without questioning such an event that is surrounded by ulterior motives, and driving our nation into world wars in the name of money and power for a select group in control.
I am interested in an independent and authentic investigation on the events of 9/11 without omission or manipulation and will support this pursuit as long as I live. I knew that this did not look right from the start the way the buildings fell and were turned into dust in a matter of seconds. Me fears were confirmed when evidence of thermate was revealed along with seismic reading consistent of explosives rather than a collapse. Finally, the arrogance of the government to pull WTC7 astounds me and strikes me as the most damning evidence of a cover up/inside job. I would simply ask people to take a look at the evidence and consider the 6 years of the motives for a war on terror that is waged illegally and incites hatred against our great nation. Cuts on vertical members strongly suggest the use of shaped charges. We were listening to WCBS News 88 when it was announced Bldg. 7 was going to be PULLED. We met several eye witnesses that was asked to leave the site by the NYC Police Dept. I'm a social worker with Child Protective Services. I work primarily with teens who are dependents of the Court. I have two children (young adults). I've been researching 911 and related subjects since 2003.
These are the points I find most compelling: The discrepancy between the temperature of burning jet fuel and the melting point of steel, and the presence of molten steel weeks after the event. The missing energy required to pulverize concrete and eject steel beams laterally from the bldg. The verbal account of an immense explosion in the basement of one of the Twin Towers prior to collapse.

I wish some professional physics people would start talking more about the nature of potential energy (gravity) and explain that most kinetic energy calculations are based on the transfer of energy between solids. I am not a physics major but my gut tells me that there is not enough potential energy in a 100+ story building to pulverize that much concrete and eject steel beams laterally, even if the entire building were airlifted 1 mile up and dropped. True kinetic calculations would also be a nightmare and I am amazed at how simple both truthers and liars make them sound?

The official story is so obviously false that I believe the only reason it has stood for so long is that the reality of what happened on 9/11 (both the horrors that are commonly known, and the unexamined realities strongly suggested by the actual evidence) are very difficult to think about for most people. The level of atrocity that is involved creates such a profound shock and aversion that we are all struggling to come to terms with this reality.

I often encourage people to watch the collapses of the three buildings that fell on 9/11 and consider whether they are going to believe the government or their own lying eyes. After one's initial hysteria on 9/11 it became clear that those buildings didn't fall down through the force of gravity. The towers obviously blew up and building 7 was classic demolition. And even on 9/11 I couldn't believe that our extremely expensive and well trained armed forces couldn't put a plane in the sky until it was too late. Give me a break - do they think we're stupid. It boggles my mind that all three building came down in under 10 seconds due to fires and that people don't speak up about how absurd that is. Also, the Pentagon crash should not be ignored since no one has ever seen a video of a plane hitting the building. If people think that the guard gate camera is the only one that views the Pentagon, then they need to wake up! WHy haven't we seen a plane hitting the Pentagon? Probably because it wasn't a commercial airliner like we were told.

I always wondered why and how the buildings fell so 'evenly, cleanly and quickly.' It seemed strange. I thought that the fire would burn and melt part of the interior, leaving the shell behind.
