PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The collapse of WTC building 7 is unprecedented: a building that collapsed supposedly due to fire and structural damage. The facts regarding WTC7 are compelling; it experienced a duration of free fall, it was a building outside of the main block of the twin towers, and the two buildings next to it experienced only superficial damage. Furthermore, other WTC7 evidence is suggestive, such as eyewitness accounts of explosions and news accounts and first responders as eyewitnesses that indicate foreknowledge of WTC7's collapse with certainty. For these reasons an investigation into the truth of WTC7 is warranted, and that truth weighs on the veracity of other 9/11 information.

Police officers, Firefighters, EMT workers who are our heroes were lost doing their duty to protect us. They swore an oath to protect the people and Constitution. The collapse mechanism / sequence of all three buildings is of great interest considering that the official 'story' is that the superstructure of each of the buildings was damaged principally by fire and the in the case of the twin towers also in part by plane impact. In my opinion, as a professional engineer, these factors could only act to weaken the structures asymmetrically, which in turn would lead to asymmetric failure modes - ie at least some signs of toppling which when initiated would continue. Instead, the extensive footage from the day shows a complete, symmetrical drop in all three cases. This lack of asymmetry in all three failures coupled with the rate of failure (comparable to gravitational acceleration) suggest that the entire superstructure of all three buildings ceased to bear load almost instantaneously. From my knowledge of the US government reports, these issues are in no way dealt with. Other explanations, such as the possible role of pre-placed explosives, must be considered, as the official version is inadequate. In particular, the failure of Building 7 so closely resembles that of a controlled demolition it is extremely difficult for me simply accept that a number of fires within the building was the sole cause of it's collapse. The evidence presented by the remains of the collapsed buildings also requires careful consideration. The abundance of pulverized concrete and segmented steel beams /columns resulting from all three collapses is of particular interest. As a qualified engineer these are the principal issues which are of interest to me when considering the validity of the official explanation of the WTC collapses.

As a Reliability and Quality Engineer for over 30 years, I was required to consider all of the facts associated with any engineering failure. Disciplines that required my constant awareness are design integrity, manufacturing defects, environmental exposure, life limiting factors, etc.
I was acutely aware of Engineering Cost Analysis and Life Cycle Cost Analysis, with many post graduate courses in these disciplines. My career was heavily biased toward statistical analysis and Warranty Cost Forecasting, requiring me to consider all possibilities, emphasizing the likelihood that the less likely events should be considered less heavily. Perhaps, this is why I was extremely reluctant to even consider the possibility that 9/11 could have been a staged event. What is the chance that our own government could pull that off and get away with it? I pondered. When I was confronted with the facts, and I considered the reality that the temperatures of jet fuel combustion do not support the suggested failure modes posed by the government's official report, I was forced into a paradigm shift. This reality has changed my entire perspective on the groups that I had previously dismissed as emotional, uneducated fools. I was wrong and I am grateful to the 9/11 Truthers for holding me accountable for the Truth! Now, I too am a 9/11 Truther. The facts about the collapse of three WTC buildings on 9/11/2001 just do not support the theory posed by the PBS Report, or the US Government's publication. There must be further explanation to satisfy my hunger for the truth about the horrible realities of the WTC and Pentagon murders. As an engineer, as a patriot, as citizen of the United States of America, I demand that the government which is accountable to its citizens appoint an independent commission to investigate and report on the Truth of 9/11/2001.

Removing human removes the mask that prevents us from seeing ourselves in context with the rest of physical reality and seeing our 'true' characteristics. War, as an example, is an 'inherent' behavior, universal in all human identity groups yet we still look for the 'reasons' for war in our social structures and not in ourselves which is where it resides.

The fate of Building Seven, alone, shouts that something other than these aircraft were responsible for the destruction of 9/11. The United States Government gave up any credibility it might have had generations ago. The bushcabal never had any credibility. Investigate now!

The causal thesis of fire simply doesn't match the evidence. It is at odds with basic principles of physics. The top 1/7 of a tower cannot crush the bottom 6/7 through gravity alone'Newton's third law; equal and opposite reactions and conservation of energy'and free-fall speeds violate Newton's second law. WTC7 most exposes the deception in the most visually clear way, looking cleaner than maybe 90% of controlled demolitions. Buildings don't implode, and they don't fall uniformly and symmetrically into their own footprint, the path of most resistance. Asymmetrical damage never results in symmetrical failure. And of course there are giant metallurgic problems with temperatures to even substantiate the initiation of failure in any part. NIST's investigation is a fraud and the American people deserve justice for this atrocity against life and liberty worldwide.

I have been studying martial arts beginning in 1975 as well as meditation. Previous to that I was a theatre student. After receiving my BA in theatre at West Georgia I began a study of Humanistic Psychology with a concentration in the study and practice of meditation.
I began subconsciously to doubt the attacks were caused by airplanes perhaps on the first day as I changed from channel to channel on my TV dial and noticed different background colors from each station. Later I realize that if you are one of us who believe no planes in fact struck the towers that this was probably a blue screen effect that each station was using to make it appear that planes had struck the towers. I also had significant doubts as to the ability of an airplane to fell a skyscraper. Even as I child I had wondered about that possibility until I had been educated that these buildings were constructed to resist such an occurrence. At the end of the day I watched as Building WTC-7 fell and knew something was wrong. It had not even had significant fires and was to far from the WTC-1 and WTC-2 to be falling because of a pancake effect. Indeed its roof was clear of any debris from the earlier collapses of WTC-1 and WTC-2. The 9/11 Commission did not even bother to mention this building in its final report even though it was announced by the BBC and at least one other TV channel to have fallen at least thirty minutes before it fell. For me this is further proof that the stations must have been orchestrating the story rather that reporting it. Later I read books by David Ray Griffin such as The New Pearl Harbor (2004), The 9/11 Commission Report: Omissions and Distortions (2005), and learned even more important facts and discovered that this was just like the John F. Kennedy assassination cover-up only on a scale that is so incredible as to make it nearly impossible to conceive and yet it is clear to anyone who will take the time to look at the facts and view a few online videos for themselves. I meet people every day who agree with me and even people who don't realize this know we are only in Iraq for the oil.

The evidence laid out in scientific method format is so clear that everyone who reads it can come to no other logical conclusion but to at the very least, question what went on at the WTC on 9/11. Reasonable doubt as to what we have been fed about what went down on 9/11 has replaced my former beliefs. Even as a non-engineer, video of the building collapses strikes me as impossible. I was watching the attack from the second collapse of the towers live on TV in Denmark. The news were talking about: - how could this happen - why wer'n't there any fighters sent up - the collapses were talked about as being controlled demolition - I saw the towers collapses live on TV thinking like the newsreporters that this is clearly controlled demolition - one specific situation was the unknown livefeed from the crash in Pennsylvania. There was no debris. And even the governor confirmed that. - the live media from The Pentagon didn't show any airplane and was commented like that - any many more... I filed my thoughts away mainly because they weren't welcome were I was. Now here in 2008 it's very different.

It is obvious by just watching the videos of the so called collapses that the 3 buildings were brought down with the help of explosives. The skyscrapers took the path of most resistance at freefall speed during their destruction which violates the laws of physics. Kerosene does not burn hot enough nor did it burn long enough to initiate any kind of collapse. I consider the word collapse to be misleading. The twin towers were blown to bits from the top down and building 7 was a classic controlled demolition. There is no doubt in my mind that explosives were used.

I am a retired teacher for the Portland Public Schools District #1. I am a reading specialist and hold certifications in Special Education and ESOL (English for non-English speakers). I taught severely emotionally disturbed students for many years.
I was getting ready for a flight to California on the morning of 9/11. I was taking my son to Disneyland. I have never been able to put into words the horror of what I saw on the television. I actually believed it was the beginning of Armageddon. I have researched the occurrences of that day and have severe doubts as to the truthfulness of the story that was given to the public. I do know that our country's borders were closed for the first time in history and there were no complaints, not even one. I know that since 9/11 our civil rights have been eroded, laws have been added, the percentage of felony charges and convictions has quadrupled, men and women are being held on no charges and subjected to torture, harsh laws concerning the well-being of our undocumented immigrants have been instituted, and students that used to flock to our country for higher education have been prevented from coming here, effectively ruining our chances of showing them the wonderful and true nature of the PEOPLE of the United States, which they take home with them to debunk their propaganda of who they think we are. There are federal employees in all our airports; it is almost impossible to replace a driver's license or social security card if you have lost certain kinds of documents to prove your identity. Traffic ticket costs have tripled and the number of citations has too. In addition, most of our highways and city streets are set with cameras that keep track of our movements. Life is no longer the same on any level. We no longer live in a free society. We are in a dictatorship and have lost most of our rights. This was accomplished without complaint from the general public all in the name of protection from terrorists. I am asking for the truth and the return to sanity in this country.

The photographs Richard Gage presented in Denver on Sept. 25 were the best I've seen -- I think the still photos are better than video for demonstrating the clearly-explosive nature of the debris cloud. Anyone who attends one of Gage's presentations without becoming convinced of controlled demolition has psychological defenses that I as a trained counselor wouldn't have the foggiest idea how to penetrate!

My first 2 years at Berkeley were in Electrical Engineering with Math, Chemistry and Physics. I am currently a computer car technician.
The collapse of the trade towers do not seem plausible given that they just burned for about 30 minutes and then both structures fell upon themselves so neatly. Then what's even more unexplained is Building #7, and then the lack of jet plane physical evidence at the Pentagon, and that their camera footage was not released.
