PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

No credible expert has been able to justify that ... through scientific means. 2 - Building 7 was undeniably brought down voluntarily. In addition to the video evidence there are some reports of people admitting to this. It is also undeniable that some CIA agencies were based in that building. The fact that the official investigation report identifies a fire as the sole cause of collapse is the most convincing proof of a cover up. 3 - My last point is less related to Engineering evidence: Video footage of G . W. Bush's reaction to learning the news while in a children's school (source: Farenheit 911, if confirmed). He didn't move for 8 minutes when it was clear this was a major attack on the American Nation. I personally am responsible for the safety of 185 people in my present profession (manager of major petroleum field) When I hear of a safety critical situation... I immediately take action to lead the crisis situation. Clearly anyone in a position of reponsibility where lives are at stake is expected, and trained, to react like that.

I have BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering. I won a nationwide engineering competition during my senior design project for my BS degree. This offered me a paid research position at Oak Ridge National Laboratories to do my Master's thesis research, and I worked there for a year in their materials science division. I specialized in heat transfer and fluid mechanics for my thesis, as well as materials science. Graphite foam was the material I used for my research, because it was newly developed and has many applications due to its extremely high thermal diffusivity and conductivity.
9/11 was the most horrifying day in American history. To any engineer or physicist, it is also one of the most mysterious days in our history. On that day, the official story claims that small range office fires (less than 10% of the total floor area) made two 110-story skyscrapers burst into dust in 10 seconds each. At 5:20 pm the same day, WTC7 also collapsed. NIST noted that WTC7 fell at 'free fall acceleration' for 2.25 seconds of its collapse, which proves that that tower was demolished. For a building to go from being in static equilibrium one second to undergoing full free-fall acceleration into its own structure the next second, the interior structure of the building must be compromised before those members were forced to buckle due to being overloaded. The twin towers collapsed very fast as well, at over 80% the acceleration of gravity. Since the bottom sections of each tower were undamaged, and also built with thicker columns than the top section, one would expect the collapse to slow down and then stop as floors were being crushed (absorbing kinetic energy). However, this wasn't the case. If people continue to believe the lies we were told that day, our country is doomed to a future of tyranny.

I saw the second tower fall live on TV in a room full of architects and engineers. We collectively were astonished and knew something was wrong with what we had just seen. One of my architectural projects was leading a design/documentation team to survey the entire 3rd floor of the Pentagon in the middle 1980's. So, I knew the architectural and the contextual site settings. I knew therefore, it was absolutely impossible for a jetliner, to physically travel at speed, and hit the ground floor of the Pentagon. From the 1- 2 second CCTV footage they aired on TV showing the 'jetliner' hitting the Pentagon, it looked more like a cruise missile to me.

I'm a software engineer, who has worked for a decade on project for the UK's National Air Traffic Control Systems.
Although software engineering is quite far from architecture, I can follow scientific arguments, and have helped with the writing of a number of research papers in which theories were suggested, then tested with experiments and conclusions drawn. So if follows that when taking an impartial analytical look at the evidence given for the 911 collapse, I have to reject the collapse hypothesis in favor of demolition, given the overwhelming number of pointers to wards the use of explosives.

I'm signing this petition because I believe that there are a lot of questions left unanswered. It's clearly known by the evidence that things have been overlooked and covered up. It's not fair that people who lost loved ones on 9-11 are not given any real answers. In any other murder case, the murderer is put on trial with all evidence put forward thoroughly and carefully. This didn't happen in this case at all - which raises my eyebrow - not with a vindictive heart.. but with compassion for those family members and survivors of this terror. I just learned recently that the Obama administration is now targeting them as terrorists! The victims and their advocates! Especially the top architects, engineers, and professors who know the truths?!!! Just like nazi German - same eugenic regime, similar lies -- same agenda. Cull the masses of moos, re-brainwash the brain-washable - kill the freedom thinkers.. the smart ones.. and this time they'll chip the chattel property that they allow to live -- if they get their way! Just look at their examples of what's coming - not only do we see the military prisons built all around us at all major freeway/airport 'arteries'... some remote. When I saw the evidence of building 7, my mind began to start wondering... the explosions, the lies purported to the moos stating that nobody reporting seeing molten steel - when we all know, hear what credible people documented and even see the molten steel in recorded video. I can purport to know much about demolition or anything about buildings at all - but I can look at the evidence and see clearly that 2 airplanes can never drop 3 buildings flat in their own footprints! I believe the official report itself about World Trade Center 7 called for further investigation into its collapse. Many scientific individuals have had serious doubt that World Trade Center 7 could have collapsed as it did given that it was not hit by a plane. The chemical evidence given by residents across the street from the Trade Center was analyzed to have thermite in it. Furthermore, the high temperature days later on the ground is highly suspect to not be the result of fire. The previous investigation was not thorough enough to draw adequate conclusions. Therefore, I request another independent investigation into this matter.

I received my BA in Sociology from Edinboro State College in May of 1970 and both my MA and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois by Sept of 1973. 9/11/01 arrived at work~10:00am unaware of events, learned of first collapse from co-workers gathered around our secretary's radio and 2nd collapse when it occurred shortly thereafter. Was horrified at the logical mental image of two quarter-mile-tall towers (having previously stood at the foot of them) having fallen over (collapsed) from fire and plane collision, creating massive destruction as they crashed on surrounding buildings of lower Manhattan. When I saw video later, around 5pm, I was dumbfounded at the peculiar top-to-bottom, 4th of July sparkler, banana peeling action of the collapse that was so different from what I had imagined. Then I just accepted it, being distracted by and disapproving of the march to war. I was quite drawn to that problem and other facets of Bush Administration policy and actions which I followed closely. I was curious about the details of the collapse when some TV docs began to look at pancake models, and remember being vaguely aware of truthers as a flaky line of thought to avoid. My growing awareness and research on line of falsification of war justification and action lead one day to actually looking at your site and similar sources and the whole basic obvious science of a demolition (vs. collapse) was immediately apparent to me. It's almost hard to remember that at that point, despite being as politically skeptical as I have always been, the hard part was accepting the logical implications of culpability.

Evidence leads to the conclusion of a controlled demolition, hence the cover-up and culprits need to be found to protect us from future recurrences. Justice can never be served for victims, relatives and citizens of this country without an independent review of the situation and rebuttal of the original investigation.

Official story is bogus! I could clearly see with my own two eyes that those 3 buildings came down, not by airplanes, but by demolition. It is so obvious. I don't know why others cannot see. One person very close to me says that the steel was made incorrectly (not very strong) and that the buildings were not fire retardant enough. How lame. How long have the buildings been standing there prior to 9/11 ( a long time), I rest my case.

I recently received my license to sell health and life insurance. It took me a few years, but I eventually got my bachelor's degree in 2004 in Psychology. I have never worked in that field. I've had a number of jobs that have not lasted. Although I'm optomistic that my new career will work out, considering the economy, I am aware that I may have to take other employments, too.
I never really believed it was caused by Al Qaida. It just seemed implausible. In the first couple of weeks after 9-11, I started thinking about JFK, Jr.'s death, an experienced pilot, and yet his plane seemed to simply fall out of the sky. Since I was a kid, I'm 43 now, I've seen small aircraft controlled by remote control. Why couldn't they have done it by remote control, was my first notion of technique. I didn't see any footage showing the buildings looked like controlled demolitions until just a few months ago, when on a whim, I came to this website. It seems so obvious now.

I have always been a counter culture instigator, and since watching the Nixon hearings as a 10-year-old, have been hard pressed to take the official government position on anything as the truth. As a health professional and researcher, I find our history and policy in so many areas completely based on the profits of one cabal or another, always at the cost of our society in general. I suspect 9/11 is just one more.
I was up late on the night before 9/11/01, having worked on a studio project at my collaborator's house until almost 1 am. I went to sleep in his guest room at about 1:30. At 5:47 AM, PST, I was violently awakened from a dream, such that I was hurled out of bed an onto the floor. I had no idea what had happened, and could not return to sleep pr remember my dream. Although I spend much time doing dream work, and have good dream recall, I completely forgot what happened in this dream, and nothing of this sort had ever happened to me before or since. Of course, 5:47 AM PST is 8:47 AM EST, so as the morning unfolded, I knew something was up.

I have strong doubts about the official story that WTC building 7 could have fallen at freefall speed and in such a manner (straight down) due to some office fires that were burning in that building. The fact that this building's demise and the explanation for it was not contained in the official 911 commission report is suspect and makes me doubt the entire report as to how all of the events transpired.

i am at the time of writing (September 2011) 63 years old, and retired now. i began my university career with a mathematics scholarship to Corpus Christi College Oxford and subsequently studied psychology and philosophy, gaining a first class honors degree. this information is on record. i then engaged in several years research into aspects of cognitive and perceptual psychology at the Psychological Laboratory, Cambridge University and for the (government-sponsored) Medical Research Unit. later i worked as a transport scientist at University College London, and contributed to a variety of government-funded research projects, including one requiring detailed estimation of population exposure to radiation from different options for the transport of hazardous radioactive waste. i mention this latter work to emphasize that (a) though not an engineer i am technically literate and (b) i have had ample opportunity to see at close quarters how truth can be and sometimes is subordinated to political requirements by highly intelligent academics and civil servants, even in areas much less contentious than the 911 scenario. being mildly aspergers this untruthfulness eventually became so distasteful to me that i left academia and since then have devoted my time to musical composition.
I have come relatively late to the examination of scientific evidence concerning the collapse of the wtc twin towers, and I can add no technical insights to what has already been uncovered by the courageous instigators of this petition. But as a psychologist, I have examined the behavior of the politicians and the media, in the light of what I have long known about economy with the truth, distortion, spin and plain, good old-fashioned lying. So my original suspicions were based on circumstantial reasoning. Like most people I was shocked by the televised coverage of 911. But whilst recent history shows that it is possible for an individual or small group of people to conspire to detonate explosives causing loss of life and damage to buildings, the coordination of the 911 events seemed on an altogether different scale. It did not add up for me that a handful of desperados' armed with box-cutters' could simultaneously take over four commercial jet aircraft equipped with the latest anti-hijack technology, and then, having undergone a few hours training on flight simulators at a flying school, steer these highly sophisticated machines so accurately, and mysteriously avoid being shot down by military aircraft or missile defenses. The idea that the pentagon, an almost impregnable fortress, armed to the teeth and protected by information and weapon systems that the average joe can scarcely imagine could be attacked in this way, seemed frankly incredible. Nevertheless I did not become a conspiracy nut. My deeper suspicions were actually aroused more slowly, by the fact that there were never any follow-up attacks on anything like the same scale. After all if terrorists really want to kill people en masse it is not really that difficult. Could they not, for example, distribute poisoned ecstasy to thousands of naive youngsters at a rave or a rock festival? Yet despite massive provocation, including guantanamo, rendition, murders by drone, etc. There was never any real response by al qaeda. I then saw how the manipulated public response to the events of 911 fitted into the political agenda, justifying two large-scale invasions of countries crucial to oil supplies, scaremongering, restrictions on civil liberties, and behaviors expressing utter contempt for established principles of international law concerning the treatment of political prisoners, the use of assassination without trial, torture etc. And I asked myself, carefully and repeatedly, the good old question of ancient jurisprudence. Cui bono?
