To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I hold a BSEE from the U of Colorado. Most of my career was spent working for FAA, as an electronics engineer, for 23 years. My work included installation, testing, optimizing and integrating into the National Air Space System, of a wide variety of equipment, mostly RADAR and RADAR Automation. I also worked for Dr. Eugene Mallove, a former MIT engineering professor, investigating anomalous energy devices and related claims, for two years. I am now retired.
I was in the Memphis Airport Traffic Control Tower on 9/11/01 and watched events unfold on television, and watched traffic all pointed into the center of the scope, as the ground stop was issued. When I saw WTC 1 & 2 collapse, I simply could not believe what I was seeing, but I could not imagine what else to believe, besides what was apparent. It took a technician to tell me years later about ae911.org, who asked me to view the evidence and give him my evaluation. I viewed it, but I refused to offer him my opinion, because it was such a serious matter. I could not see any possibility other than controlled demolition, and I scrambled to figure out ways to evaluate. I contacted a colleague who had left FAA and become a professor. He told me that it was controlled demolition and that he could not talk to me. He and his colleagues had become convinced of the controlled demolition explanation and were threatened with termination if they did not scrub all such information from their professional and personal websites. He told me that we could not talk about it. I persisted and he cut me off completely. Even after that, I refused to reach a conclusion. I consulted with everyone who would talk to me. Evasion was the general rule. Nobody likes to be quoted on a controlled demolition opinion.I actually did not reach a conclusion until I simply could find no way to remain skeptical. The implications are so staggering. The nanothermite paper knocked my skeptical legs out from under me. I sent a copy to a retired LANL scientist I knew, and his commentary was evasive. It was David Chandler who sealed it. I knew how stable the timing of video recordings must be. I understood the basic physics quite well. I went to sleep on countless nights trying to imagine some way that a collapse could happen so fast prosaically, but there is no escape from realizing that the structure had to be removed from its job of providing support, and it had to be done in a very coordinated fashion, and it had to be done faster than free-fall acceleration would dictate. Controlled demolition is clearly the only possibility. I had worked in new ATC tower constructions. I knew about fire protection of beams and access through elevator shafts. It did not seem like much of a stretch to have a team applying nanothermite to the steel structure. The fact that such exotic material is not generally available points a straight finger at a short list of suspects, as Kevin Ryan did so much to elucidate.

In the case of Building 7 I'm very confident that there was a true and very well studied implosion, demolishing the building so that it collapses straight down into its own footprint (the total area at the base of the building). This feat requires such skill that only few and very experienced demolition experts in the world will attempt it. Among other evidences, the way and time of the building collapse indicates a previous study of the building structure. The motion during the fall was almost vertical and therefore cannot be by hazard, or even caused by a fire, because all supports must be cutted at the same time, or in a specific way that the columns at the center of the building are cutted before the other columns so that the building's sides fall inward.

The September 11th attacks are a difficult issue not because of the science, but the psychology. For years I dismissed the 9/11 truthers without taking the time to listen to their claims, let alone examine the evidence that they had diligently compiled. Even when I finally did look into the issue, I wanted so badly to maintain my world view that I spent weeks looking for something that disproved the claims of the 9/11 truth movement. After failing to find it, I became angry. Why hadn't my engineering professors told me? I realized that, just like me, they had naturally rejected ideas that went against their preconceptions. Now I am trying to become a part of one of the most ridiculed and hated groups in the United States: those who were open minded enough to listen, humble enough to investigate, and motivated enough to do something about it.

No security plan is foolproof, otherwise the security industry would not be so profitable. There are individuals of questionable connections, some who actually worked in the Towers, who would have had access (including the guard force itself) to have allowed for explosives to be placed in key areas to facilitate the rate of collapse. It would not have taken a large team to implement if systems were put into place slowly, with the explosive materials placed either where dogs did not operate, or after the dogs were removed just prior to 9/11. I cannot stand down from this position given the clear unanswered questions.

I must concur that all of the tenets of the AE911truth.org arguments for a controlled demolition of the WTC buildings 1, 2 and 7, if truthful, are all valid reasons for a more comprehensive investigation as to what actually caused the collapse of the WTC buildings 1, 2, and 7 on September 11th, 2001. I would further state that simply one of these tenets would be enough for a reinvestigation of the destruction, and that, combined, they make an overwhelming case for a reinvestigation. The implications of these allegations are far reaching and disturbing. I feel it is our duty as public servants to seek truth and in this case to expose a conspiracy that threatens not only liberty and freedom but all of the lives of the inhabitants of this planet. I have built, for example, an 11 story building in Madrid, using concrete (floors -2 to +6) and steel frame (floors +7 to +9) structures. Richard Gage has blown me away with the information he has presented to document how the towers in NYC fell on 9/11 from controlled demolitions and not from airliners crashing into them. I saw a planned demolition when I saw the towers and building seven come down. I see the same social manipulation world wide in this manipulation of fear over a virus that has a miniscule chance of death and yet is closing down the world just as Homeland Security has shut down so many rights and opportunities for business and the personal assault on airplanes. As a doctor I am alert to the incorrect application of an injection that is not properly tested and is experimental.
The response by the public and the creation of Homeland Security out of this event exact template for what we are going through with a man made virus and untested injections and the mandates about social control that are now imposed on us. I was educated in England and received degrees of B.Sc., M.Phil and Ph.D. in cancer and bio-molecular sciences. Following post doc. work in London, in the early 1990s, I moved with my family to Germany to work at the Max Planck Institute, Munich, before returning to the UK to work at the University of Hull. I have followed this story for many years in wonderment at the official version of what happened on 9/11/2001. Although not an engineer or an architect, I am a critical scientist with some understanding of physics principals and therefore cannot understand how three building, constructed in the way they were, could collapse completely in response to fire. The most problematic for me is building 7. My first viewing of the videos was in complete disbelief. I am convinced that the only way that such an extensive steel structure could collapse at near enough free fall speed, is with the help of carefully placed explosive devices.

I was a 9/11 Truther the day after 9/11 when I heard Ralph Schoenman talking about the Middle East agenda and how it would play out. I was considered a quack and have been mocked for years about my point of view (which in my opinion, was based on shear logic and fact). Years later I saw Loose Change which further supported my beliefs. With all the evidence in question, i just don't understand why people (including my entire family), choose to live in such denial of what seems so obvious.

From day one, it has bothered me regarding the way the World Trade Center towers fell. I remember looking at the TV, viewing it live and thinking, there is no way they could have fallen straight down. It takes munitions experts months to rig a building to fall that way when they are trying to demolish one without harming other structures. The odds that BOTH towers fell this way, given the fact that they were impacted by aircraft, at different levels, with different velocities, different angles of impact is unbelievable to me.
