On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I was always uneasy about the WTC collapses, and the more I saw of the evidence, the less I liked the official explanation. As mentioned in my bio, I have worked with structural integrity and fire standards for rail vehicles, and although different in detail, they have significant fundamental similarities to architectural standards. The official report does no credit to the engineering community and is a slur on high rise designers who have had to justify why a plane could destroy a skyscraper, or a fire break out and make a building fall down. As the tragic events at the Grenfell Tower in London last year showed once again, high rise buildings do not fall down from fires. Grenfell was described as looking like 'a candle' yet still survives, but a 47 story building with some smouldering paper falls in on itself? The official explanations for the three WTC buildings are a joke and the engineering community needs to say enough is enough; it's time for the truth.

I worked with a commercial contracting and construction firm as a site engineer. The City of Baltimore's Waste Water Plant and The James Madison Memorial Building were some of the jobs I worked on. I visited the WTC's North Tower dealing with an architectural firm on several occasions.
I have seen load failures in both reinforced concrete structures and high steel structures. None of these were symmetrically even as the collapse of the 3 WTC structures occurred. I cannot believe all three coincidentally fell without a hint of leaning resistance.

Buildings do not fall like the twin towers or building 7 unless it is a controlled demolition. I have seen buildings blown up in combat and they have burned for days. The ones that did fall down, were not as well constructed as the twin towers and they fell in pieces.

In fact, in Structural Engineering classes at Montana State, the scenario of an airliner hitting one of the WTC Towers was actually studied, (and determined to be safe). The professor discussed that this scenario was actually considered in the design of the towers, and they were designed to withstand it.

The fact that both towers collapsed in their footprints, without any toppling of the upper floors, clearly indicates controlled demolition as the cause of the buildings' collapse, rather than structural failure. In my opinion, the collapse of the south tower (WTC 2) illustrates this idea most clearly. The airplane which hit this tower entered the south wall, and wreckage can be seen in the videos exiting the east wall. As a result, one would expect the damage to be worse near the southeast corner of the building, and any structural collapse should have occurred first at this corner. This should have resulted in the upper floors toppling toward the southeast. However, videos of the building's collapse clearly show it failing in a more or less symmetrical manner. - - - - In contrast, the north tower (WTC 1) was hit by the first airplane in the north wall, at almost a perpendicular angle to the north wall. And yet, the upper floors of this building leaned toward the south as the building collapsed. - - - - Likewise, there are two failure phenomena which cannot be explained by the pancake collapse theory. First, video of the collapse of the north tower shows the upper floors (approx. 10 stories) toppling toward the south. Yet, instead of falling to the ground relatively intact (as they should have done with no structure supporting them from beneath at that point, and nothing pressing down on them from above), they mysteriously disintegrated in mid-air. What forces (other than explosives) could have caused this? - - - - Second, a video exists which shows part of the inner core of the north tower still standing prior to the south tower's collapse. And yet, with only minor debris falling on it from the south tower, the remaining core structure disintegrates. Unless the video is faked (and I have seen no evidence of this), what would have caused the remaining core structure to collapse?

Looking back, I think because of the sheer horror of the event that I was in denial. My initial research into the WTC Building 7 collapse is what led me to research further. It became increasingly apparent that jets and fires were not what brought the three buildings down -- these were classic cases of controlled demolition. The American people need first to learn the truth about how those buildings really came down and then uncover who all were responsible, but I fear our main obstacle is that the foxes are guarding the hen houses.

Too many things don't add up. While the hijacking of the aircraft was an excellent diversion and 'excuse' for what happened, the actual explosions and their results are not consistent with what could have happened with the aircraft alone. There is evidence of structural damage that preceeded the aircraft impacts (never explained) and the impact at the Pentagon is not consistent with the aircraft that struck there.

"I had read 'Why Buildings Fall Down,' and 'Why Buildings Stand Up"", due to an interest in mechanical engineering. I knew the design of the world trade center. I knew it was designed around vertical columns. I knew that even if the building floors collapsed, those columns would not have, as they'd have no load on them. I also knew steel buildings don't come down in their own footprint w/o assistance.. much less 3 in the same day. I saw Bush on TV, when a suit whispered in his ear, telling him what was going on, while he was reading a book to children, and he just continued reading.. showing no surprise or concern. I believed the media information, at first, about 9/11. However, as a person that needs to research what we are spoon fed in the media, I started to discover so many illogical events. I have worked in construction while going to college and could not understand why three industrial buildings would collapse with the impact of a plane. One building didn't even have a plane hit it! I also come from a family of pilots. When looking at the trajectory of each of the supposed plane crashes (including the pentagon), no pilot experienced or inexperienced could make that happen. None of this makes sense to me, and when I see the memorials of 9/11 at each site I am disturbed by the continued use of fear to justify violence. These are my tax dollars being spent to harbor fear and perpetuate an agenda of 'national security'. I have been doing my best to support, donate, and help to get an honest and NEUTRAL investigation.

In 2009, independent research conducted by a team of international scientists discovered, after analyzing some dust samples from the debris in the area where the skyscrapers collapsed, that they all contained a red layer of active thermitic material, incorporating nanotechnology. The study conducted by Niels H. The failure to probe the issue of how the 'war games' scheduled for that day were related to the military's failure to intercept the hijacked airliners (pages 268-69).' The failure to discuss the possible relevance of Operation Northwoods to the attacks of 9/11 (pages 269-71).' The failure to point out that the Commission's claimed 'independence' was fatally compromised by the fact that its executive director, Philip Zelikow, was virtually a member of the Bush administration (pages 7-9, 11-12, 282-84). These are only a few points amount countless others that demands the reopening of the 9/11 act.

To see the Twin Towers fall as they did, in such a precise fashion, was to me an extremely unlikely event without some sort of coordinated undertaking. What about building number 7? How could the structure of that building be compromised to the point of collapse? When the Grenfell tower in London burned there was no collapse and that building had burned for hours. The quick clean up and disposal of the building materials and absence of in depth testing has led me to be suspicious. I would also like to know why there seemed to be no finding of plane parts or ''black box'' from the Twin Towers.

Too many loose ends that have been exposed must need answering. From the thermite, thermate particle findings, to the top down method of all 3 buildings. Something was covered. I forge metal on a monthly basis as a hobby and I can be certain and say that even with jet fuel, an open fire can not heat steel hot enough to melt. Sincerely, a patriot to this country.

As the single most devastating event that has occurred in the United States, in my lifetime, it appears that the 9/11 WTC attacks need to be re-investigated. At the time of the occurrence, I like most people, accepted the explanations that were issued by the government as truth. Today, I am 18 years older and wiser.
