PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

After viewing videos of the collapse of both the Twin Towers and Building 7 and after carefully studying the Official 911 Commission Report and the technical report prepared by FEMA and the Structural Division of the American Society of Civil Engineers, I am convinced that the airplane impacts did not by themselves cause the buildings to collapse -- particularly for Building 7, which was never impacted by an airplane. It appears that internal explosives must have caused the buildings' destruction, and the American People have the right to know who was responsible for this horrific act.

To me it has been obvious that controlled demolition and not plane crashes & fire were the causes of the WTC collapses since I saw the first TV reports on 9/11, 2001. The blatantly dishonest official story, the cover up and media efforts to hide the obvious are frankly very scary to me. A new and thorough investigation is absolutely needed, but it must be conducted by those outside the influence of the perpetrators. Perhaps this new investigation is a task for a foreign government, possibly Canada, or the UN.

I saw several dokuments not only about WTC, but also about financial crisis (Andreas Claus) and about mechanics of money (www.zeitgeist.com), which made me to think about this fact. The last two things, that persuaded me definitely about nonsense of collapse WTC due to plain crash were the analysis from Richard Gage and also a scientific paper about nano-thermite in WTC from Nielse H. While I am not an architect, I have observed the collapse of the three buildings into their footsteps at nearly the speed of gravity. While it is clear that that the World Trade Center towers were attacked by two planes, I do not believe that the damage caused by these planes would have been sufficient to destroy the towers. What I find particularly odd is that both towers collapsed in almost exactly the same way--despite the fact that planes hit buildings at different altitudes and at sharply different angles. I also find completely inexplicable the fact that Building No. 7 collapsed suddenly and unexpectedly later in the day, despite the fact that it was not directly attacked. There are many questions which have been raised by experts with considerable expertise in the areas of physics, mettalurgy, architecture, engineering. These people should be allowed to present their evidence before an impartial investigating committee. We know that in the past, political groups have staged events--attacks on public buildings, massacres (notably the Reichstags Fire)--and then placed the blame on other groups in order to stir up public sentiment in support of particular parties or measures. I believe Americans can, if the facts warrant, face up to the truth. It is time for a comprehensive, impartial investigation in which all those with expertise on the structural characteristics of the buildings should be free to speak openly.

I have amounted the denial of the true reasons for the WTC buildings' collapse in the architecture and engineering field to a simple emotional unwillingness to examine the facts.If you know the collapse times, if you know what fireproofing is, if you know how little fireproofing would be knocked off by the plane crashes (comparatively in terms of the whole building size), if you have a comprehension of steel and concrete strength and what would happen in a true failure, if you know EXACTLY how these towers were built--you would know that is absolutely impossible that the WTC buildings collapsed due to fire caused by airline crashes.Again, the denial of the true reasons for the WTC buildings' collapse in the architecture and engineering field must be amounted to a simple emotional unwillingness to examine the facts--and I have met many deniers.

It was apparent to me even on Sept. 11, 2001, listening to Dubya's initial public statement (wherein he immediately referred to the planes hitting the Towers as an act of war) that it was part of a bigger plan. It is still impossible for me to understand how anyone can watch the footage of the towers' free-fall-no-resistance collapses and believe they resulted from impact & fire. The currently available evidence is overwhelmingly convincing that it is physically impossible for buildings to turn to dust at that speed if there are no explosives involved. The finally NIST report is paltry, at best.

It is my belief that since all those in positions of power were absent from the scene and, country, that they knew what was going on/about to happen. Therefore, it looks like an inside job and, not a Muslim attack.

More than sufficient evidence exists to warrant a thorough, independent investigation into the events of September 11th, 2001. Such an investigation should be conducted by an international team of open-minded scientists and engineers dedicated to finding the truth. If the official report is correct, it should be rigorously proven; and the anomalies that now exist should be explained. If the official report is not correct, that should also be rigorously shown, and widely reported in the media in non-technical terms. It would seem essential at this point to understand in great detail what happened on that day, and why.

I have to admit with embarassment that I did not give thought initially to how the two main towers could have collapsed due to the planes. But I could not believe that after that had happened, the Pentagon was not protected enough to allow to a plane to fly into it. As for Building 7, I did not know about it for quite a while. Once I did find out about it, I realized how many more strange things happened on 9/11 than were discussed in the mainstream media, including various details related to the two main towers.

Heather Reynolds is an Associate Professor of Biology at Indiana University. The buildings could not fall as they did; the destroyed areas were far at the top and can not affect the lower part of the buildings. Besides, the third building that collapsed was not attacked at all - that fact cannot be explained.

I came across your website only recently while I was doing some random searches on youtube about wikileaks. Before that happened, I was completely unaware about the controlled demolition theory and all the researches on nano-thermite etc.. Although I consider myself a well informed person, always trying to pull out information from different and alternative sources, fully supporting alternative media as a primary source and constantly questioning about mainstream channels, I never came across all the amazing work you are doing. I think there are still millions of people which, like me, could offer their support but unfortunately are not aware of your existence. Internet is a great media for spreading information, however, the over-abundance of information available might cause difficulties to break through the noise. I think this will be one of the biggest challenges.
