PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The last year and a half of my time there I worked in a student research position for the Operator Performance Laboratory. I served as a flight test engineer for human factors evaluation of avionics and I assisted in the design, implementation, and integration of instrumentation for human factors evaluation and testing of ground transportation.
The moment I watched a 10 minute video about WTC 7 on Easter Day of 2006, I knew the official story was a lie, and I am ashamed that I didn't realize it sooner. I don't know what really happened on 9/11, but one thing I do know is that it is impossible for 2 airplanes to cause the complete and total destruction of 3 steel buildings, comprising 250+ stories, at free-fall speed.

It is impossible for steel frame structures to fall due to fire if the fuel for the fire does not elevate temperatures in the building to high enough temperatures to melt steel. Buildings do not fall in discrete piles in unplanned catastrophic failures.

I was in Manhattan on 9/11. The official explanations were extremely unconvincing to me, then and now. Now that independent architects and engineers experienced in demolition and skyscraper fires have made their scientific report, it is obvious that a new and unbiased study must be made of what actually happened on that day, and who is actually responsible, - regardless of who they are.

The evidence on the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7 is clearly against the official explanations provided by the government of the USA. Scientific analysis of the material left after the destruction (e.g. melted steel, sulfur etc), the physical dynamics of the collapse witnessed by plenty of videos (free fall, horizontal throws of material etc), and the statements of the firefighters and people who survived the horrific event (series of explosions heard etc) have been studied by sound construction and physics experts, who concluded that the NIST's report is undoubtedly hiding the truth. The truth cannot be hidden for long, we have the tools and the global scientific knowledge to understand phenomenon of this kind, so it is necessary that the government proves to be honest in sharing the real story behind such a horrific event which caused a lot of innocent victims.

After reading a great deal of material concerning the events surrounding 9/11 I have reached the conclusion that the Arab hijacking was a cover for the destruction of the WTC. In putting the pieces together, a likely scenario is that the hijacker who missed one of the flights was a double agent working for a foreign or domestic agency and that Flight 99 that crashed in PA was likely headed for Building 7 which had been prepared for CD destruction along with the Twin Towers. Destroying Building 7 prevented the discovery of this preparation but seriously weakened the official explanation for the collapse of all 3 buildings.

I remember vividly the events of September 11, 2001. From the very first day I was highly skeptical of the explanations we were being given. As a scholar concerned with architectural structure, I found it difficult to believe that the three WTC towers could have totally collapsed the way they did as a result of either planes crashing into their upper floors or from 'office fires'. I remember eye witness accounts that confirmed what I had seen: explosions coming from various levels of the Twin Towers. Several eye witnesses that day spoke of the buildings' coming down as resembling a controlled demolition, exactly my conclusion. During the following few days, I was outraged that the evidence at a murder scene was destroyed or carted away to New Jersey before a thorough investigation could take place.

I can not see an other explanation for the destruction of the three buildings other than that they were free falling and therefore brought down in a controlled manner. The fact that you can see detonations all the way down, the eyewitnesses that talks about explosions, even the autopsy of a young man that died in the FOIA that showed damages from explosions. The truth has to be revealed!

Although, not an engineer, I am a scientist and find the NIST report on the WTC buildings 1,2 &7 to be grossly inaccurate and negligent. Viewing the collapse of these buildings it is obvious they are a result of controlled demolition. I don't believe it necessary to have knowledge of structural engineering to understand the government explanation is wrong. I am a retired professor, now emeritus, who taught Rhetorical Theory in the Communication Dept. at Pitt for 26 years until failing health made me in capable of carrying on my duties. I have also been actively involved in all manner of progressive political causes all my adult life. I was skeptical of the official government explanations of 9-11, the rapid removal of all evidence, the thoroughly prejudiced, indeed rigged, official inquiry, and the complete failure to convene a disinterested grand jury for a criminal investigation into who exactly carried out the attacks. I have been a supporter of 9-11 truth groups for the last ten years.
I was educated at Macalester College, St. John's College, the University of Chicago, the Eberhardt Karls Uni. in Tuebingen, Germany and the U. of Washington. I am now a retired professor who taught, among many other things, persuasion and propaganda theories just as 9-11 happened and then again in the run up to the disastrous war in Iraq. I was a tenured professor and taught 26 years at Pitt.
"It was obvious to me from the start that the official explanations for how the three WTC towers were pulverized was completely preposterous. The more I examined the matter the more it became clear to me that all three building demolitions were accomplished through the use of controlled explosive demolition thermate or nanothermite charges. It is even fairly clear now how the explosives were secretly placed into the three buildings which came down on 9-11. Thus the only question remaining, the one that none of our worthless journalists are investigating seriously even now, 20 years after the fact, is WHO exactly carried out the destruction of the towers, to which I can only suggest that it is very helpful to ask the primary question in such inquiries, namely, cui bono?
It is very difficult for me to comprehend how so many Americans can possibly still believe the official account of what happened on 9-11, especially in NYC, where the preposterous claims about all three massive, significantly over-built, well fireproofed, WTC steel-framed skyscrapers being completely collapsed, indeed pulverized into mostly dust in the case of WTC 1 and WTC 2, because of internal ""fires,"" most of which had been greatly reduced at the time of the collapses. The official account is simply risible and dogmatically refuses to consider much of the most important evidence coming from those who heard massive explosions in the basement stores area just before the fatal plane impacts, as well as from many firemen who observed and videoed the flow of molten metal running down the towers while a succession of further sprite explosions were heard and seen moving from top to bottom just as in a controlled demolition. As for WTC #7, the refutation of the official poor excuse for an account has now been thoroughly and meticulously refuted by the extensive U. Alaska Fairbanks inquiry under the auspices of one of the US's most respected architectural engineers."

I am a Senior Geochemist, with over 30 years research experience, specializing in base metal Mn, Fe, Pb/Zn and gold mineralization and the environmental impact from mining, weathering and the associated processes (e.g. arsenic and methylated base metal pollution of soils and groundwaters). However, I was also extensively employed in the discovery of new quarries, either for industrial or high-friction materials for lining highways and railways. My expertise includes: 1) Strategic consulting and liaison with regional and local authorities and 3rd party stakeholders for the conceptual design of mineral exploration or environmental projects 2) Project partnering, innovative actions (methodology, waste minimization, remediation processes), scientific and technical objectives, policy development and added value of the project to the communities and third parties 3) Implementation of the project using field sampling of ore, soil, country and host rocks, surface and groundwaters, in situ and laboratory analysis and data analysis. Arrange partner meetings for the evaluation of program progress, sharing the research results and preparation of the interim or final progress reports.
The USA is a tightly controlled Country with unbreachable security measures, as far as external terrorists are concerned. I cannot understand how 'first in the world' security systems were violated by external terrorist actions and no aircraft fighters were in the air when the attack took place. It seems to me that the whole action was well orchestrated by internal, high ranked, security professionals who were in close secret cooperation with the external terrorists. I feel that if no such assistance were given to the terrorists, they wouldn't be able to carry out the appalling plan, and they would now be inprisoned in Guantanamo.

My educational background is in human factors and manufacturing engineering. So while not an architect or building engineer - I do have sufficient education to be able to assimilate multiple sources of evidence and come to the conclusion that the official explanation is not satisfactory.
The official story is simply not credible and must not be allowed to remain in the light of evidence, expert testimonies and assessments. This is owed to to all those who lost their lives, their friends and families and everyone else who has been negatively impacted by the event.

I am convinced that the impact of the planes and the resulting fires cannot be the cause of the collapse of the WTC buildings. Many highly qualified architects and structural engineers have gone on record as declaring that these buildings were engineered to withstand major fires and the impact of a plane. Building 7 collapsed without being struck by a plane. Many witnesses testify that the fires in Building 7 were not wide-spread enough and severe enough to cause the collapse of the building. It is high time that a new, honest, and unbiased investigation of the collapse of the WTC buildings is undertaken.
