On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

After I saw the second building fall, I instinctively wanted to know where George W. Bush was and I wanted to see his face. I didn't buy the Oklahoma bombing under Clinton or the first World Trade Center bombings, and I wasn't buying this either. I felt that Bush's face and his reaction would be very telling; I was right! He was overly nonchalant, after being told, and went on to say that he saw the first plane hit while he was waiting in his limo; that footage hadn't even aired yet, to the public. And when i saw that he was told at an elementary school setting, about the plane hitting the World Trade Center, it made me suspicious. It felt like an overly innocent setting. It wouldn't be until I found out that George W. Bush, Laura Bush and General Tommy Franks went to elementary school together; that the elementary school setting felt like a creepy homage. And when I saw a video-tape of a former CIA agent, turned whistleblower, that spoke at Portland State University 1-1/2 months after 9-11, there was no turning back, in my mind, that it was an inside job. He started out by saying that while the planes may have been remotely controlled, he wasn't going to talk about that. He was going to stick to what he could prove as fact; his presentation was convincing, even without demonstrating that the planes were remotely controlled. I got cable earlier this year, and started seeing exceptional documentaries, which showed 9-11 for what it was. Now, I don't doubt that those planes were remotely controlled. Especially after hearing from those like William Rodriguez, who heard explosions in the basement floors 7 seconds before the first plane hit. 7 seconds! That's exceptional timing. And to know that citizens who saw the planes before they hit, say that they didn't recognize the planes as passenger planes, but rather, as windowless commercial-type planes. I'm so happy that architects and engineers are finally speaking out!

It's strange that there are so many fundamental observations that can be made that prove, beyond a doubt, that the events of that day differ from the generally accepted causes. - - Seems it is more like a religious debate, or a political debate, and many people will take a side and not budge the slightest, even when presented simple observations or facts. For example, - 1. Rate of collapse of the buildings - 2. The projectiles that are projected perpendicular to the force of gravity - 3. The destruction of an entire building, below the impact point by a significantly SMALLER 'hammer' ie, the top part of the building - 4. The repeated observations by credible witnesses, ie the fireman, that observed many, many explosions - 5. In the videos of the destruction, anyone can see the significant emissions of material horizontally out from the building - - And on and on... You don't need a microscope to figure this one out.

Many of these buildings were steel frame, all were in California. Before coming to Caltrans, I worked for Liske, Lionakis, Beaumont, & Engberg Architects and Engineers, where I designed the Pacific Telephone Administrative Complex in Rohnert Park, CA, which is also a steel frame building.

It was 47 stories high (571 feet), steel frame, more than 300 feet from the nearest tower (WTC 1), was not hit by an airplane, had no significant fire, and yet it too was completely destroyed coming straight down, symmetrically, at freefall speed as if by controlled demolition. - - ' What materials in the WTC provided the fuel to generate enough heat (2,500 degrees F) to create the pools of molten steel reported by firefighters and cleanup crews, when jet fuel has an open air burning temperature of 600 degrees F and a maximum burning temperature of 1,800 degrees F? - - ' Why did the US Government spend only $600,000 to investigate the collapse of all three WTC skyscrapers, when it spent $40 million to investigate Clinton's sex life?

Even to a layman, the collapse of WTC 7 looks exactly like a building demolition. If I prepared a report on a structural failure and didn't justify my results and provide full data and calculations, models and tests, I would probably get fired. Yet NIST got away with this in their report on WTC 7. A truly scientific study on the collapse of tower 7 with peer review and no agenda or political bias should be performed.

It became quite clear as I watched the destruction of the Twin Towers that there was some kind of incendiary device that was in play in one of the corners of the towers. This was obvious by the way there were hot metal sparks indicating the cutting of metal as they flowed off of the corner of the building. These sparks had the obvious look of a metal beam of some kind, whether an I-beam or a truss, that was being cut behind the mangled area; but it was something steel, as could be recognized by the weight of the metal sparks flowing directly in a downward direction. There was also an indication of the flow of hot molten metal within this flow of sparks that I recognized by the color of the flow of metal - being bright yellow orange and indicating steel, not aluminum which flows in a flat grayish orange glow. I make this observation as a former welder that worked in the industry, and it looked almost exactly like an oxygen acetylene torch cutting through thick high grade construction steel. Whatever the device that was used, it was hot enough to melt and cut through steel, and the flow lasted a good couple of minutes as the cameras focused in on that corner and kept coming back to those sparks flowing off the building. From my experience it had to be something hot enough, like a metal worker's torch, in order to create that kind of spark and the obvious flow of molten metal in a shower of sparks off the corner of the tower.

In my experience, both professionally and in acedemia, I have learn that buildings do not collapse as the WTC and Building 7 did by being hit by airplanes. In my structural engineering class at Lafayette College, my professor Kurtz gave a whole set of lectures about how buildings are demolished. The only destructive model which makes complete engineering sense from a physics point of view for the utter and complete collapse of the WTC twin towers within the witnessed time frame is that which has, first, the foundational structure of both twin towers explosively corrupted to the point of collapse and second, the subsequent explosive collapse of floors above that same foundation in a timed sequence. There is no other explanation outside this explosive model which can duplicate the utter destruction of these buildings in such a manner. Likewise, the yet unexplained and sudden collapse of WTC 7 floor by floor within seconds of time. Thousands of professionals (firefighters, rescuers, police, others...) have testified that, while attempting rescues within those buildings at the time, loud explosions were heard within the buildings. There are a considerable number of professionals on the scene who have testified to explosions going on while they were attempting rescue within, the twin towers. The cumulative and amassed evidence from multiples of professional investigators, the eye-witness accounts of the same, the professional investigations of the scenes the same, the plethora of civilian accounts of the same ...and the physics/mechanics of the implausible yet ultimately sudden collapse of the affected buildings within the time frame prove beyond a shadow of a doubt all these buildings were purposefully destroyed. The agents of destruction have already been privately identified; they are not the publicly acceptable ones. Our US and world public, and I count myself among them, have never been apprised of the collaborators' true identity, but are largely and globally suspected to be within our own government and their collective global agents.

I have no eye whiteness account other than what was shown on T.V. News footage as well as internet compilation videos. Only a person of very low intelligence could believe that the Twin towers were turned to dust shortly after impact and collapsed at a free fall rate of speed. Not to mention bldg. 7, which was never struck by anything? The debris shown to us at the pentagon was at minimum highly suspect as the parts/wreckage shown did not match the official count of the event. At a minimum these events combined show an act of high treason and murder!

The report from the NIST investigation does not put forward an hypothesis for the collapse of any of the 3 World Trade Center towers that adequately explains the available video evidence coupled with the structural data on the building. On the evening of September 11, 2001 after watching CNN all day, several of us checked out books from the Engineering library at MIT on the structural design and engineering of WTC towers 1 and 2 in the hopes of being able to figure out how those buildings collapsed in the manner that they did, but we were ultimately unable to reconcile what we observed on television with any hypothesis based on the impact of the aircraft and subsequent fires. It was my hope that eventually an investigation into the collapse would provide such an explanation, but to date no tenable hypotheses have been offered by any of the government reports on 9/11.

I understand and worked professionally in the physical world of energy and dynamics and the laws that govern it. I am led to believe that the 'official' explanation is a bald face lie as it defied ALL of the laws of physics from Newton and current.

Spent 5 years as a professional engineer following graduation. Working as a ''Stress and Performance Engineer for Dowty Aerospace in Gloucestershire, UK. (stress calculations on aircraft landing gear) and as a development engineer for BH Sala (design and manufacture of industrial fall arrest systems). Conducted my degree thesis on the failure of welded fabrications in mining roof supports using a photo-elastic analysis technique. Since leaving the engineering industry I have worked as a school teacher and currently as a director of a marketing company.
The video and supporting information on the AE911truth website indicates that, beyond any reasonable doubt in my mind, there is something 'not right' about the official account of events concerning 911 and the subsequent failures of the three WTC buildings. The truth - leaving no stone unturned is all I would expect the people of the great nation of the USA to demand. I feel the omissions in the official reports submitted are scandalous, especially with all the associated loss of life. Having said that, due consideration should be given to the stressful and emotive nature of the events and the way this could have undermined the integrity/clarity of thought of the investigators. Now is the correct and appropriate time to re-open this case and do a proper and professional job, addressing the major points brought out in AE911truth would be an excellent start to this and allow everyone to move forward with the knowledge that all that can be done to prevent an event of this nature happening again in future. As pure engineers it is not for us to judge why this happened but rather analyse the technical facts accurately and objectively then make appropriate conclusions, being in a privileged position to be able to process the facts we have duty to do no less.

I am utterly astonished that anyone believes even one sentence of the official fairytale. There is no WAY that a steel building can collapse. From the clear images of sequenced explosives detonating down the buildings to the mangled, melted steel and dust/ash left behind to the cut columns to Building 7, every aspect of this screams demolition. You don't need to be an engineer to understand this, buildings do NOT collapse. Impossible!

Involved in the optical, structural, and mechanical design and analysis of optical systems ranging from astronomical telescopes to aerospace imaging sensors. Have also worked with civil engineers to develop several patented steel frame I-Beam connection designs with less stress concentrations and more ability to resist earthquake loads. This required many nonlinear finite element analyses.
After the earthquake in Northridge CA, I traveled with a group of civil engineers to that city to inspect a steel frame building that was heavily damaged by the earthquake. What we saw were a large number of broken welds due to brittle weld failure. Yet the building was still standing several months later. When I saw 9/11 happen, I could only think of how those small fires could have reduced the weld brittleness and thus reduced the likelyhood of a brittle failure like those I saw in Northridge. I knew from day one something was fishy.

The statement is quite simple: 1) Wildly conflicting video accounts of this event were broadcast. This includes plane approaches through the smoke, under the smoke, opposite the smoke, and even one with no plane at all. 2) The 9/11 Commission investigation was underfunded, politically kneecapped, and completely insufficient. 3) I have, therefore, decided to form absolutely no opinion regarding 9/11 events, because, clearly, we have not had access to any reliable, real data. And that is a simple, provable transgression by both the government and the media, if indeed those are two different entities anymore. Keep up the good work. I certainly appreciate it, but we have to attack this issue from a very fundamental, logical viewpoint at this time. Let's start with what we know.

Retired, formally having a 30 year career in the aerospace industry involved with satellite and launch vehicle systems working at the systems engineering requirements and design definition levels.
From the time of the event, I have questioned the collapse WTC-7 and its relationship to WTC-1 & -2. Having witnessed several intentional demolitions of major structures, the similarity to the three WTC buildings coming down was striking. At the time, I recall the TV reporting by BBC and other networks saying the WTC-7 structure had fallen when it had not, and then captured on video falling 20+ minutes later which conveys the message the event was planned and reported via a news release from a source yet unidentified, to me. Also, the lateral explosive bursts coming from the descending floors of WTC-1 & -2 are most suspicious as I understand the structures were designed to withstand an impact by a Boeing 707 aircraft. I suspect WTC-7 was the staging center for the persons involved with setting the explosive charges.

It seems further research is warranted since this is the first time a plane has caused the collapse of a steel framed building. Maybe we could learn more about the construction and failure if we were allowed access to more information.
