To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Canada and eleven years of professional experience. Currently I am a senior engineer for a Danish company that makes wind turbine blades. I am part of the Composite Mechanics group that is responsible for determining and documenting the mechanical properties of the materials and substructures that are used in the blades. I am also currently attending a masters level fracture mechanics course at DTU (Danish Technical University) in order to become more specialized within my field. Previously I have worked in Vancouver, Canada with hydrogen fuels and their cooling and exhaust gas dilution systems and in Melbourne, Australia as an engineer designing industrial wheels and castors.
From my understanding of solid mechanics, I don't see how a steel constructed skyscraper can collapse under it's own weight at near free fall speed within it's own footprint. Steel is a ductile material and a space frame construction that is overloaded in compression will bend, buckle and twist, but will remain essentially as one structure. In my opinion, the failure mode observed for the twin towers can only be explained by a series of controlled explosions.

From the simplest piece of information alone, free fall speed of collapse, it is not even remotely possible to suggest any hypothesis other than controlled demolition. In other words, it is already physically impossible for anything other than controlled demolition to have caused a free fall speed of collapse. The huge mountain of other evidence collected corroborates completely and further proves controlled demolition, although it should be the obvious cause. It was spouted all over the media for one day (9/11/2001) then forbidden and officially called a crazy theory put forth by aluminum foil-hatted conspiracy nuts. The official story claims a conspiracy, where the people involved could not have possibly committed such an intricately planned and difficult demolition. High level people in the military were needed. So the truth of controlled demolition was replaced by an impossible lie about airplanes and their resultant pockets of fire. In addition to being trained to be skeptical, I am so by nature. It was with this approach that I started to study the evidence of 9/11, one thinking this evidence is flawed. It did not take long to be convinced beyond any shadow of doubt that the official story of 9/11 is a planted lie, that three World Trade Center buildings were demolished on purpose, that the Pentagon was hit by a missile, that the Pennsylvania crash did not occur at all, and that the force behind all this horror is a small rogue but extremely powerful group within our own government: the Neocons to be precise.

I'm ashamed that our political leaders are not in total outrage over the Commission's final report! That in itself is more of an atrocity than the day of 9/11. I like so many others didn't realize a 3rd building had even fallen. When you watch and read and the dots start to connect...you will realize what the true meaning of ignorance is bliss really means. While it may be an emotional journey to undertake, Dennis Kucinich is right, we need to revisit the day of September 11, 2001. There is a huge veil of secrecy concerning the events of that day. Regardless of what you may have heard about what happened on that day, there remain many pertinent questions that need answers. Even with all of the events that are happening around the world today, I cannot think of a more pertinent issue that needs the focus of our attention... to discover the real answer to this one question: What actually caused the collapse of World Trade Center building number 7? There are many severe and meticulously documented anomalies concerning what happened to this building. The real answers to what happened to this building on that day are such forbidden fruit that politicians are afraid to investigate. This is the Achilles heal of the whole 9/11 controversy. I remember thinking, as I watched building 7 fall, that there was something strange. Those few small fires brought a building down so perfectly? A couple years ago, I was lying awake in bed, surfing the TV stations. I happened upon Loose Change being played on a local cable access channel. That sent me off into a fury of research into 9/11. There is no way a plane or fire would cause the building to collapse, it must have been detonated. Steel melts at an extremely high temperature, and so the fire could not have cause the steel infrastructure of the building to collapse. The only way to is explode a bomb.

It didn't make sense to me that the buildings would fall at near Free-fall acceleration - straight down symmetrically. And Building 7 - right into it's footprint. If the Twin Towers collapsed they would have fallen over - not straight down due to the asymmetrical damage. This was a false flag attack - as a pretext for entry into middle east and central asia.

Video footage of the WTC collapses look suspiciously like controlled demolitions. I seriously doubt that the entire reinforced steel skeleton of either WTC building could melt and collapse due to the heat of combustion of the airline fuel alone.

If the official story is true, I have to return all my academical degrees and burn my professional books - the story contradicts basic physics, engineering, probability and common sense. Just two (out of many) examples: 1. Building 7, a steel-framed, earthquake- sustainable, that collapsed with no apparent reason. 2. Three buildings, two were hit and one not, collapsed at the same perfectly symmetrical pattern, and all fell down at almost g-acceleration, collapsed into their footprint - a classical pattern of controlled demolition. The joint probability for those three independent events is almost null.

I was suspicious about the true causes of the collapse of the WTC towers from the time I saw them fall in real time standing in my college's commons area. The way the buildings collapsed just didn't seem right to me. The effects of terrorists are well known in Japan and many other countries, and 9/11 seemed like a classic case. However, after reviewing the evidence and looking more closely, there is NO possible way that these seven destroyed buildings were the results of the two passenger planes. The evidence that the building was compromised with internal explosives or weakening agents seems undeniable.
The evidence of internal explosives is overwhelming. Especially in the case of Tower 7. The refusal of government agencies to properly investigate this act of ruthless cruelty - whether it turns out to be terrorist or criminal - is unacceptable.

I have worked as superintendent and general superintendent for a number of companies, building large buildings, high-rises, and warehouses. I am retired now.
I saw a documentary about a French photographer and his brother who had selected to document the lives of fire fighters and 'probies' at a firehouse right next to the WTC. I believe one of them died in the event and the other was able to capture on film the collapse of the second tower well. How did they select that sight? Who paid them for their work? In this film there were flickering lights, as in a controlled explosion, going from left to right starting with the top floor and going down floor by floor until about the fifth floor and then everything was obscured with demolition dust and total collapse. Obviously that firehouse was the first to respond. Was this British film a simulation or did it capture the truth? My other question is this: would it not have been wiser to douse the burning debris with water flown in by helicopters until all burning had stopped before sifting through the burning debris for human remains?

WTC building 7 is what alerted me that 9/11 might be an inside job. It is virtually impossible for a building to collapse in that manner with nothing but a common fire over a few floors. Additionally, the fire purportedly came from the twin towers but the surrounding buildings met with no such improbable ignition. What cinched it for me was the smoldering molten metal that lasted for weeks after the attack, pointing at the probable use of thermate.

Society needs to know if large fires alone could have been enough to bring down the WTC buildings. Was impact damage a necessary factor? Further research into the cause of the 9/11 collapses can be applied to improve the structural safety of existing or future skyscrapers.

The acute similarity between the collapse of the twin towers and building 7 on 9/11/01 to typical controlled high-rise building demolitions simply does not allow me to accept the official United States government story. Further, it seems to me that the weakened areas of the buildings where the airplanes impacted, upon failing, would have caused the building structure above the point of impact to topple about the point of impact, rather than fall as a they did in the manner of a controlled demolition.

It is unbelievable that these buildings fell into their own footprint without assistance. I don't understand how jet-fuel could burn hot enough to cause thermal expansion or how Building 7, which wasn't even hit by a plane, could fall from an ordinary fire?

From the evidence shown in this website, it is clear that the building collapses are caused by explosives commonly used for controlled demolition. The Laws of Physics and gravity indicate the collapses of the three WTC towers appear to be caused by controlled demolition and not due to the impact of two aircraft. The buildings fell too fast to indicate the resistance to downward momentum from successive failures of the floor structure. The buildings fell very much straight down and were completely pulverized as if they were destroyed by controlled demolition. There is no other reasonable explanation given for the collapse of WTC7.

I just watched the DVD on this collapse. I previously missed a lot of this evidence, even though shown by other outlets, due to the emotional impact of the collapse. This description provided by AE911Truth clearly casts doubts on the official cause of the collapse. After watching this evidence I too wonder how an airplane could take down the building from the top without help from inside.
