PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I don't know who or what is behind 9/11, but I know with 100% certainty that the official version can't be right. There must have been a blasting (especially WTC7), respectively there must not have been any physical resistance from below, otherwise the free fall of the buildings cannot be explained physically. The facts and the physical connections are so clear that I cannot understand why the media do not investigate this and do not allow any other opinion and dismiss people as conspiracy theorists who want to get to the bottom of it. I personally saw and heard in real time 2 firemen (one dirty and exhausted, seated outside on a low brick garden wall) and another just reporting for action - nice and clean. Both were looking at Building 7 in the near background (1 block?) away and to the question for the exhausted one by the fresh one regarding its status the exhausted one looked at his watch and said as clearly as I can remember, Its going down about 4:30! I didn't think too much about it at the time but now I think about it a lot whenever 911 comes up!

Approximately one month to the day of September 11, I found myself pondering the recent news reports indicating the potential negative trends of the economy. Since the reports were vague but consistent, I began to ponder as to how they could be accurate. Using my past experience and knowledge as a former Professional service-member I concluded that for a foreign power to disrupt the national economy or physically threaten the nation. It would have to have the capability of bringing down a skyscraper in a major US city. Which, was technically not possible. The idea that the threat could come from within, was not unthinkable. But, at the time it was easier to imagine that such a scheme and it's perpetrators would be exposed. The day I heard the building was hit, I thought it was quite a coincidence. Less than an hour later, I heard someone in the office saying the build had fallen. I thought, impossible. Throughout the days and weeks that followed. I heard so called official reports that, based on my knowledge were either lies or crimes at the highest levels. For instance, it was reported that NORAD did not respond in time because the pilots were involved in a training exercise and was not sure the messages coming in were real or part of the training exercise. In training exercises one crucial elements is to exclude an element form the training in the event of a actual threat. Another fact is that in communications the training takes place in a network of data transmissions specifically designated for non real world training exercises. Either the NSA policies have changed or the NSA was a part of the event.

It was totally unbelievable the coincidence and testimonials and just did not make any sense that some hijackers carrying box cutters could have flown commercial jets into steel buildings. The cover-up that followed was a disgrace. All the steel being immediately shipped to China. It was a professional demolition job orchestrated by the government and other foreign interest. Just look at the results and who benefited and you can find the ones that committed the crimes.

My diploma thesis had an emphasis on landslides and the geological engineering remedies for landslides. It also covered road construction over a landslide-affected area, and the geological mapping of the area. I've worked mostly as an exploration geologist (for approximately 25 years).
The pulverization of the two big towers cannot be explained by fire. Kerosene temperature does not reach the required melting temperature for structural steel. WTC 7 cannot collapse into itself without any visible damage to its structure before the 6.7 - 7.0 second collapse. Almost vertical and symmetrical collapse can only be achieved with expertly placed explosives charges. WTC 7 was not struck by any plane or other object. Minor fires in upper floors cannot cause a building to collapse. No high-rise building of this type has ever collapsed after a fire.

And a engineering friend told me how MIT students in the early 60s 'welded a train' to the tracks as a prank using thermite they made at MIT. I studied Aeronautical Engineering for 2 years. I switched my major to mathematics when I became greatly interested in computers. My physics minor was satisfied by my engineering courses. I was puzzled that the skyscrapers fell on 9/11, but trusted that the smart people in our government investigating teams would figure out what happened. Then I stopped paying attention. I never really looked at the destruction until a year ago. I was upset at our government and at my self for never having taken a close look at the collapse. I learned enough in my freshman engineering courses to know that when the top of a building starts to fall in one direction, the weight shifts to that side and increases the load in that direction. Forces on the other side decrease and continued fall in the same direction is to be expected. I wish I had looked at the videos 15 years ago!

The more I study and learn about the construction and destruction of the World Trade Center complex, especially building 7, the more I realize that something other than planes and jet fuel brought the buildings down. I believe that some type of preparation was taken weeks if not months beforehand to install explosives and other substances by controlled demolition experts to undermine the structures of the buildings and subsequently bring them down under the guise of terrorism.

I am a 31-year-old student, graduating in six months with a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering. Although I have not practiced as an electrical engineer yet, I have taken many classes in mathematics, physics, and chemistry, and have tutored these subjects as well. Even a basic understanding of Newtonian mechanics would lead anyone to question the way that the exact way that the buildings fell.
I actually ended up on this website because I was looking for an outstanding documentary I had seen, which I believe was made by an engineer or a physicist. One of the most telling and haunting things he said was that things tend to happen chaotically, unless they are made to happen otherwise (or something like that), and obviously a hundred-story building falling directly downward requires a great amount of effort to make happen correctly, otherwise if the building had fell due to structural failure, it is incredibly unlikely (probably close to impossible) that it would have collapsed in a perfectly vertical, linear way as it did. There are many things that obviously need to be reexamined when it comes to 9/11, and this is only one of them.

In my opinion it was a well and long planned maneuver that involved many with different technical knowledge to control planes and to deconstruct buildings in an extremely professional way. There must have been many different organizations from inside the country to create such an event in this sort of way. Maybe groups of politicians, of secret services and military because of the high standard realization. The official story is lacking in so many ways, and the motives behind i cannot be imagined in full.

Aside from the problems that exist with the trade towers, there is no reasonable explanation for the damage to building 7. Other difficulties are over the how the planes could have caused destruction beyond the construction materials tolerances to result in the observed destruction.

The WTC7 report from NIST has an insurmountable amount of gaping holes and unreasonable assumptions that leads a scientist, such as myself, to believe that in their research, they did not act unbiased and objective. Thus, they cannot label their report as scientific and must allow the relevant scientific community of professionals and experts to analyze their work on the collapse of WTC7.
